God, I'm glad that ride is over! That thought was the only thing that passed through Sayuri's mind as she steped out of the buss into the park for Starlight Academy's anuel biology fieldtrip to the local park. The ride down was miserable for the young Kitsune, to say the least. The buss was hot, sweaty, smelly and crammed, and while it was certainly -expensive- it was hardly the posh luxury the spoiled little princess was used to. Of course, this entire planet was a major step down for the girl and while she had done a fine job of gritting her teeth and bearing it in the name of her mission, part of her yearned for the beautiful, luxurious palaces she had become so accustom to.
Of course, now that she was off that rolling oven she could breath easy, the park, in all it's splendor, was a nice change of pace from the academy and reminded her of the sprawling gardens of the imperial palace in which she grew up. Fond memories of playing with the Kodama under the shade of the great trees filled her head. She recalled the beauty of the cherry blossoms as they bloomed. Of course, -this- park was hardly equal to the speldor of the imperial gardens, but it was the closeted thing she could find on this oil-stained, fast food-filled, industrialized eyesore of a planet.
Walking through the forest, she could not help but shift into her fox form. It was a rarity that she could ever take that shape as everything in this world interecacted better with her human or hybrid form. However, here, in nature, she could be free to be her -natural- self. The grass felt so good between her paws as she basked in the sun, her black fur feeling it's warmth for the first time since she left Kitsunemori. She inhaled a deep breath of air through her vulpine snout and yelped in pleasure at the -freedom- she felt in this environment. However...unknown to her, the situation would quickly change...
