Blood was on her hands, and no amount of water could wash the stains upon Alice's soul. Leticia was dead by her hands, and while the crime was -perfect- the gods certainly knew of Alice's dark deeds. Indeed, Leticia was not the only blood on the girl's hands. Across the multiverse, countless worlds suffer under the yoke of Alice's tyranny and countless billions have died in the name of feeding her greed and lust for power. Worlds despoiled, lives destroyed, and an innocent student dead at her hands. Watch Alice care.

After making Leticia murder herself, Alice wanted to get out of the school. While the occasional murder and her interaction with likeminded individuals made things more entertaining for her overall the place was quite boring. One thing that wasn't boring about this island, though, was the high class district of the city. Being the single wealthiest girl in the world, Alice had plenty of money to spare and she certainly loved to spend it this section of town. She already had bought enough new designer cloths to mortgage a mansion in under two hours, and now after her gluttonous shopping excursion was riding off to the most expensive restaurant in town in the back of her massive , luxury limo.

It was a massive white vehicle with excessive golden detailing including a solid gold grill. As far as size was concerned, it was as gluttonous as one would expect from Alice. Described by media elements as "the biggest limo on earth" the length and size of it most definitely earned that title. Like a titan along the road it instantly commanded attention, and that's exactly what Alice wanted.

Inside the vehicle, Alice sat thumbing away on her Nintendo DS with a bored look on her face. For her "night on the town" she was dressed, as expected, quite elegantly. She had on a short white dress with a subdued but still colored cheery blossom floral pattern and white leggings that cut off right at the mid point of her thighs in an lace-like pattern that matched the lace fringe at the bottom of her dress. With it she had a thin belt around her waist and a large, luxurious fur coat. In place of her usual rabbit ear hat she instead was wearing a fur one of similar design. On her feat she had expensive looking heals that where of the same subdued pink of the cherry blossom pattern on her dress.

"Make the traffic move faster! I'm boooorrreeed!" Alice whined as her limo moves slowly through the city streets. Her driver simply remained silent, knowing there was nothing he could do to meet his mistress' demands. However, trying to explain that civilly would only make her lash out, so to keep his job, the driver bit his lip and kept driving as Alice huffed and went back to her 3DS, loading a new game to take up the time.

After a little while, Alice's limo pulled up to the restaurant and the young princess of a girl stepped out, her long blond hair falling down over her back gracefully as she came out of the vehicle. She walked up to the matrade flanked by her servants that opened the door for her. "Ah, Miss Mordrake! We're honored to have you with us tonight. Unfortunately, there was an...accident...at your reserved table, so it will be a little bit of time for us to clean it up. I hope you understand...

—-

In the most expensive restaurant in town the night was especially busy. A young couple who where anything but wealthy who now stepped foot in the restaurant where amazed at the place. It was exquisite. Everything about it was beyond their wildest dreams and they where finally here to celebrate a recent engagement. They had saved night and day, and even then they knew they could only afford the cheapest food on the menue but they where finally here, and they would enjoy what they could.

The clean, crisp, well-dressed waiter in his suit took the two of them over to a table right next to the one occupied by a starlight academy student who had, much like Alice, taken her own night on the town. The couple sat down and started to look over the menu, their eyes growing wide with amazement at the offerings. Meanwhile, at the front of the restaurant, there was sheer panic...

"IT'S BEEN FIVE MINUTES! DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM!? ALICE MORDRAKE DOSEN'T WAIT! YOU WILL GET ME ANOTHER TABLE NOW!" Alice screamed as she stamped her feet on the ground. She had been caught behind traffic and would -not- be made to wait like a "peasant" The matrade, a nervous shaking wreck. All the other tables had guests, but miss Mordrake would not wait, and being the richest person on earth, she was not the kind of customer you wanted to be displeased. Having no other choice, he called back to the restaurant staff and told them a table needed to be cleared for Alice..

"Alright, a table is being cleared for you right now, Miss Mordrake. We apologize for the inconvenience." The matrade said to Alice who was pouting like a spoiled child. The man's words quickly turned her expression around, however, and without even a thank you to him she walked off into the restaurant with an intimidated waiter leading her forward...

At the table of the young couple, there was misery. Right as they where about to order, two more...muscular..waiters told them the news. "I'm sorry, but you'll have to leave. There will be a table open in 2 hours that is being cleaned that you're free to have if you want to come back. However, for now, we need your table." They said politely in their gruff tones. "Why!?" the woman asked. "Because a very important customer, who usually sits at the table being cleaned, demands that she be served now, and unfortunately she happens to be Alice Mordrake, the richest girl on earth.....so a bad experience for her could be the end of our business. I hope you understand." the other continued to the couple...

As they heard those words, the woman burst into tears and the man had a look of utter anger on his face..."You...you....Well, you know what, we'll go, and never come back....Oh, and tell that spoiled little shit Alice that this is her gift from us!" the man said as he threw wine on one of the waiter's suits. Then, after that, he attempted to pull the tablecloth and cause a massive mess, but one of the burly waiters stopped him in the act, grabbing his wrist and twisting his arm against his back. "Now, you and your girl are gonna leave with no trouble, got that?" The waiter said. The man said "alight" in a disgusted tone and rushed out with his partner.

As the room calmed down Alice was lead to her table with a smile on her face. She was sat, immediately handed a menu and quickly brought a complementary appetizer of the restaurant's finest caviar. "That's more like it.." Alice said to herself as she settled in. Looking at the table across from her she could not help but find the girl sitting there...familiar. While she didn't know them personally, she remembered seeing her halls of the school. Academy students that can afford to come here? They may be fun...and perhaps share my love of the good life...perhaps I should have a chat? Alice thought to herself. Calling over a waiter, Alice whispered to him to tell the table where Aurélie was sitting that the table across from them would pay for their meals in return for a friendly chat...

Aurélie Fée Perrault (and Adrian Hexe Grimm)

Aurélie liked to think of herself as a princess, because in all honestly she might as well have been. The blood running through her delicate, ladylike veins was as blue as her cornflower eyes and her golden hair was set on her head like a halo.

Aurélie Fée Perrault d'Aulony, the air around her said in eager servitude. Or, no, on second thought. Forget the Perrault part. That vile man had no right to any part of her name. She kept it only because among the bourgeois, it was a useful tool to have.

Aurélie Fée d'Aulony, then, at least in her own head. Oh, she would keep the other less desirable part but only with great reluctance. And to spite that man who had given it to her, well. She would have to be greater than he ever had been. Not that difficult of a goal, in her opinion. For Paul Perrault had only been a magic less mundane and Aurélie was something more than that.

She was, in every way, her mother's daughter. Aurélie could be the author of her own life and the god of others'.

She smiled as she sat down elegantly at her white clothed table, the waiter quick to bring her a menu. Her dear sister eased into the chair across from her with only the greatest of dignity, the creases forming on her suit minute and almost unnoticeable. Adrian frowned a little as she read but in a very refined way that involved arcing her eyebrows. See? this scene seemed to say. This is what nobility looks like.

These were the moments that she wanted to snatch right out of time and keep in a box forever. Preferably a glass one, so that everybody else could admire them, too.

Having chosen what she wanted to order, Aurélie set down her menu and lifted her chin. Almost immediately, there was a waiter at her side. "I will take the toro with caviar and the lobster frittata," she said in her most pleasant, aristocratic tone, "with a glass of the 1966 Chambertin Grand Cru. For dessert, I will have the golden opulence sundae. Do not bring it out until I am finished with the rest."

The total of her demanded meal alone added up to about three and half thousand dollars. To his credit, the waiter did not even blink as he wrote down the order and took back the menu. He turned to Adrian, who, to Aurélie's resignation, elected to have something significantly less costly.

"The wagyu," Adrian said. "Ten ounces will be enough, with the mastutake mushrooms and a cup of the kopi luwak." She held out her menu to him. "That will be all."

Aurélie flashed a smile at the man as he left, since all her younger sister could manage was a blank, and began to admire the jewelry she bought before she had came in. It had been such a pleasant surprise to see that even this remote place could cater to people of her class. The brooch that she had bought was in the shape of a three dimensional rose, with shining alexandrite in twenty-four karat yellow gold. In the light, the stones changed from wine red to forest green. Every petal was rimmed with flawless red diamonds.

When she glanced up to look at her sister, she saw a vague expression on her face, a tell a tale sign that Adrian was scrying. It seemed that there were many reflectors in the area because it looked as if she had been at it for a while. Their food came while Adrian was still in that state, leaving Aurélie to accept the offering herself. With an airy look, she silently explained to the man about Adrian's unresponsiveness.

To put it simply, it was none of his business. Her sister returned to the waking world as Aurélie began to sample her frittata, mixing all of the ingredients together for a single bite. Slowly, Adrian began to cut into her steak.

"Did you see anything of interest?" Aurélie asked her, patting her mouth with a napkin in satisfaction. The food really was quite good. She had had better, of course, but it was a rather impressive start.

Adrian chewed her food thoughtfully and swallowed before answering. "Your brooch," she said, "Showed me about two hundred images of this room in stones alone."

Aurélie smiled, this time in genuine delight. "Oh, lovely," she said. "It's so nice to see that we were not misled." The jeweler had seemed nice enough and it would be such a shame if she were given a reason to make him disappear.

"I believe that we may be in for a scene soon," Adrian said.

"Oh?" Aurélie took a sip of her wine and hummed in appreciation. "Well, I hope that it's amusing." Her sister nodded curtly. The two of them ate their food in silence and waited.

About fifteen minutes had passed when all of a sudden, they heard a shout from the entrance of the restaurant. "IT'S BEEN FIVE MINUTES! DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM!? ALICE MORDRAKE DOSEN'T WAIT! YOU WILL GET ME ANOTHER TABLE NOW! Adrian raised her eyebrows at the outburst and Aurélie chuckled to herself, glad to find that the wait had been worth it.

They watched as the middle class couple at a table near them was forcibly evicted, the woman breaking down in shameful tears -really, two hours? Aurélie mused, So much fuss over such a short amount of time. Of course, had it been them, it would have been different matter entirely. The man had a fit, which Aurélie was quietly hoping would turn into a full blown fistfight. But the waiters at the restaurant were evidently well trained and put down the dispute in only a short time.

The girl who was led to the same table just moments later after it had been hastily yet expertly reset had a face that Aurélie recognized. Alice Mordrake, supposedly, was the daughter of the richest people on the earth. It was a claim that was a little hard to believe seeing as that couple was one of the most elusive in existence. But the fact of the matter was that it was quite likely and, well, as long they stayed neatly out of each other's way, Aurélie had no quarrel with the girl.

As Aurélie was finishing up on her main course, a different waiter came to their table. "Lady d'Aulony," he said, because that was the name that she had given him. "Miss Mordrake would like to extend a greeting to you and offers to pick up your tab in exchange for some conversation."

"Oh?" Although she was surprised, Aurélie showed no sign of it. Only her curiosity was allowed to show through. She glanced at the table, to where Alice sat. "Is that so?"

"We will bring your dessert to that table, if you wish," the waiter said.

"Well, it certainly couldn't hurt," Aurélie seemed to deliberated, though she had already made up her mind. "Adrian, your opinion?"

Her younger sister merely dipped her head and Aurélie yawned daintily behind a hand. "Do that," she told the waiter in response to his previous offer. She rose from her seat, wine glass in hand as Adrian joined her.

It was time to finally have a talk with Miss Alice Mordrake.

Aurelle was stunning, to say the least. Between her perfectly styled hair, flattering white dress and newly acquired broach she was every bit what Alice expected from the kind of student who would come to a place like this. It was a rare thing for Alice to find another student who could afford to go to the kind of places she frequented regularly, so needless to say stumbling upon one here was a pleasant surprise. Of course, by the time she had gotten to the table Alice had already placed her order, making sure to pick out the most expensive thing possible on the menu. Food was the last thing on Alice’s mind right now. No, Alice wanted to know more about this student that she saw in passing. Starlight Acadamy had been a fruitful but lonely affair. Being wealthy, despite all its benefits, was in many ways alienating to Alice, especially considering her unique status as a teenage tyrant that happened to have more money than anybody else in the school. She was –hoping- that this girl shared her own views. Being a fellow member of the upper class, this girl possibly see the world for how it really was; a place where only certain individuals are fit to rule and the rest are but tools to be used. Even if she didn’t, Alice could, at the least, hang out with her in the places few other students could afford, and that was something, right?

Interested in the girl, Alice immediately forced her will Into her head. Heh, that was easy! She had absolutely no mental defenses at all! Alice thought to herself as she navigated through Aurelle’s mind. It was all laid out before her. Her personality, her past, her thoughts….her….dark deeds…where all now at the young tyrant’s fingertips. Her disembodied conscious giggled excitedly as she saw the bloody murder of Aurelle’s father. Yes…this one is interesting! I like her already! Alice continued to think to herself. Disengaging herself from Aurelle’s mind, Alice returned to herself as her new guests arrived.

“Hello. If you don’t already know my name, you can call me Alice Mordrake. I have a feeling you do know it, though…which is why I picked up your tab! I’ve seen you around school and thought I’d find out more about you….it’s rare to find somebody with good tastes and the money to act on them on this Island, so you’re a breath of fresh air. If there is anything you want to ask me about, feel free. If you’d rather me do the talking, then just say so!” Alice said to Aurelle with a smile on her face.

Aurélie Fée Perrault (and Adrian Hexe Grimm)

There was an eager look about this young lady Alice Mordrake which more common people might pass off as simple childishness. However, Aurélie, upon the icy blue blood in her veins, swore that she could observe an undertone of something that she could not quite name. Perhaps it was in the way that Alice's words seem to gush out of her, surely not entirely attributed to an energetic nature. Boredom, loneliness. Yes, Aurélie supposed that those could have been factors in it. Such romantic notions, she knew them well.

This was the fairy tale today : Belle-Belle ou Le Chevalier Fortuné. Aurélie wrote herself as the thwarting fairy disguised merely as a helpless, polite shepherdess. Though she had qualms about associating herself with such a lowly position, it justified in a way that made her noble-bred mind nod in serpentine approval.

Underestimate me, please, the fairy tale her said sweetly. Spite me, even, so that I may dismantle your dreams. Human nature has already set you up for such a failure. It is not in you to be selfless, I know. Do you really think that you can be the Fortuné to my blessing? You cannot be the hero of this story without it.I will not allow for it. All you need to do to earn it is to make it worth my while.

To be sure, there was some risk involved. It was possible that Alice Mordrake already was familiar with this little game. The presentation was terribly regular. But Aurélie, free as she was and thoroughly enjoying every moment of it, could see the appeal of restriction. Provided, of course, that is came with a promise of amusement.

"Good evening, Alice," Aurélie said with a smile. "I am Aurélie Fée Perrault d'Aulnoy. Aurélie would be fine, and this is my younger sister Adrian Hexe von Grimm. It's such a pleasure, truly. I had no idea that we would find others like ourselves here on this island."

She seated herself at the table delicately, with Adrian just a beat behind her, and sipped from her glass of wine. A waiter presented her dessert as promised, the finest vanilla ice cream, chocolate, and caramel in a golden bowl. It was topped with large flakes of edible twenty-four karat gold leaf and the spoon itself was pure gold with a diamond encrusted handle. Aurélie did not touch it just yet.

Instead, she took a moment to survey the situation again. There was no obvious indication towards what powers that Alice Mordrake might have, a fact which delighted Aurélie. Predictability and blatancy were such awful atrocities in the game. "Tell me, Alice," she said not unkindly in a very aristocratic way. "What do you think of this Academy? Please do be honest with me and I promise the same to you. It would so lovely if the two of us were to speak only as equals."

Like every noble born woman, Aurélie only meant half of what she said half of the time. She had no intention of keep too strongly to her word. That said, she hoping that Alice Mordrake might prove to be the ever-interesting combination of straight up honesty blended with lies. Uniform truths were a bore and compulsive liars were such tiresome bothers.

Slowly, Aurélie brought a spoon of ice cream to her lips, making a muted show of enjoying it -not an especially hard act since it was wonderful as it was. But as she did so smilingly, she looked at Alice Mordrake with sharp eyes.

Oh, do show me how different you are from the rest.

A transformation. To the patrons of the restaurant, Aurelle''s powers where a shocking site. However, for Alice, it was an all to familiar, yet interesting ability. The fairy and landscape brought with it reminded Alice of her own magitek, the feared Genesis Network that could re-write the reality of entire planes in the blink of an eye. While this girl's powers where much more -limited- then what her machines can do, there was great usefulness in having such a power without being forced to rely on technology. The stakes in the game had just been raised, Alice now wanted to get her claws into Aurelle and seize her abilities for her own!

Taking a sip from her own drink, she could not help but smile a bit at Aurelle's show of power. "The academy? Heh. Well, it's an interesting place, though I sometimes which the students where more useful. On one hand, I find the varity of powers and knowledge there exciting." Alice said to Aurelle' and Adrian, pausing to take a sip of her drink before she continued.

"On the other hand, most of the students are too boring and utterly useless to my games beyond being fun toys to play with. That's why I brought you over here. I thought maybe you're different from most of them. I'll put things simply. I'm looking for students who aren't afraid to do immoral things, and step on a few people to achieve greater goals. I thought maybe being one accustom to power, that you've done your fair share of stepping on people. So I started this conversation to see if you'd be the kind of person who would want in on my games...and from what I've seen of you so far you don't disappoint."Alice said to Aurelle and her sister.

"Also...your ability...it interests me..and I believe you've shown me it for a reason, no? If you don't mind, could you share that reason with me? Or do you need me to answer a few other questions first?" Alice continued.

Aurélie Fée Perrault (and Adrian Hexe Grimm)

My, my. Aurélie listened on politely as Alice Mordrake proceeded to lay out her heart so neatly on the pristine white table cloth. And I have barely even begun to speak. It was, to be frank, just a tad disheartening to see the younger girl throwing about such blatancy in this public setting. Certainly Aurélie would have never taken that action and she was sure that the same could be said for her sister. It was far too dangerous of a move to be making announcements such as the ones that slipped so freely from Alice Mordrake's lips, almost bordering on stupidity.

And yet, it had the effect of making Aurélie think that there might just have been something to this young girl after all. There were only two types of people in the world who had any reason for displaying that degree of blind arrogance -the idiots and the predators. And nobody from Alice Mordrake's supposed background had any business being the former.

"Oh? How interesting," She took small, nonchalant spoonfuls of ice cream. Each motion was a calculated, precise action meant to bring the focus squarely on herself. As she did so, the visible magic that she had woven about them began to dissipate, fine sparkles of light rising up and disappearing through the ceiling to the heavens. This did not mean, however, that the spell had broken. All about them, Belle-Belle ou Le Chevalier Fortuné had eased into the storybook of reality. This was the template that the world inside of this restaurant was now being molded on.

The fairy had been seen. Now what would that stranger watching it from a distance do?

What are you doing, my good shepherdess? the fairy tale read. This was the first woman who came across the fairy in disguise. Reality was pressing against the cast of fiction. The imprints took hold more deeply.

"I believe you've shown me it for a reason, no?" Alice Mordrake said, questioning like that very same woman, "If you don't mind, could you share that reason with me?"

Tell me what is happening, reality and fiction both said in unison, utterly unheard. Both were ignorant.

Aurélie tilted her head, smiling. "Many times, people are known to act without reason," she said to her fellow student. "You are correct in thinking that this is not one of those times." She plucked a bit of the edible gold gilt from her dessert, dangling it from the edge of her spoon. Both shined in the light. "My ancestor, a certain Marie-Catherine Le Jumel de Barneville, was a writer of some renown."

"Noblewomen, of course, were often subjected to social but largely unremarkable lives. Some managed to break away from it in their own ways." She let the golden flake drop back into the melting puddle of her ice cream and pushed it aside. "My ancestor managed through fantasy. Thus far, I have attempted to follow that same path. However, in this day and age, the situation is quite different, isn't it?"

She laughed daintily. "Such a pity, but what is one to do?"

In the background, the hidden fairy in the shepherd's guise said, Alas! I am trying to save my sheep which is drowning, and I am so weak that I have not strength enough to pull it out. Her voice was a silent strain.

What Aurellie' didn't know only made Alice more confident. Of course, the noble took her for a fool, but unknown to her she was the one here who knew so little. The entire restaurant was under Alice's spell, Aurellie' included, and the reason Alice was so...forthright...in her speech was because the people around them where nothing but dolls.....puppets who would dance at her command and could hear and see nothing of their conversation unless their puppeteer let allowed them.

"You're right, things are different. I too, live in a world of fantasy....yet I also want to make my fantasies into reality. I'm not content with merely playing make believe, and I know you aren't either." Alice said as she took a bite of her own food casually. She motioned to one of the waiters and whispered something in his ear before turning back to Aurellie and her sister.

"So, how about a show with dinner? Something tells me you'd like the entertainment they have scheduled...I hear it's interactive!." Alice said to Aurellie with an excited giggle. The waiter she whispered to before had journeyed to another table where a family of a mother, father, 10 year old boy and 8 year old girl was sitting. With a few hushed words the family got up from their seats and walked over to Alice and Aurellie's table. They stood erect for a second before the three girls, until Alice motioned to them and said "Come on, don't be shy now! Introduce yourselves!"

The father cleared his throat and began to speak "My name is Alfred Farnsworth. I am a loving family man and both myself and my wonderful family are dolls under the control of Alice-hime." He said to the both of them.

His wife continued after him, saying the following. " We had memories, but Alice has currently suppressed them. My family and myself have no free will, but our memories and original personalities can be restored at her command at any time without our free will being restored."

Then the little girl chimed in: "We exist solely for your entertainment. You can have us do anything you wish to each other and even have our personalities and memories, but not free will, restored before, during or after we do it. We are nothing but dolls for the both of you"

Alice giggled a bit before beginning to speak to Aurellie again. "consider this an assessment of your tastes and a few other things, too! Feel free to have fun with them, Aurellie!" Alice said to Aurellie, awaiting her reaction. Heh, now, lets see if her behavior is in line what what I found in her mind. Alice said to herself inside her own mind. The whole affair was in fact one big twisted test of Aurelle's own decision-making, cunning and sadisim, but more importantly was a blatant show of power on Alice's part. She was hitting two birds with one stone, both confirming Aurelle's potential as an ally while also showing her just how -powerful- Specter's princess truly was!

Aurélie Fée Perrault (and Adrian Hexe Grimm)

From beside her, Aurélie heard her sister draw in a sharp breath of transparent surprise. She could hardly berate Adrian for it on this occasion, however. With Alice Mordrake's ruthless show of power, the younger aristocratic lady must have been quite appalled. Her sister had always been a soft heart for things like family and children.

My, my, Aurélie thought coolly, observing the glassy eyes of Alice Mordrake's human puppets. There was something strange about these people, that they could seem both so lively as well as subdued. It was a disgusting sight to see, for the minds of intelligent people to be held like this. Aurélie, after all, lived for reactions. What good was it if she could not see the pain writing itself on their faces as events occurred? She appeased herself with a placating thought. I suppose everybody does derives pleasure in different ways. And well. The girl had said that their conscious could be returned at any time. The rationale soothed the slight trouble in Aurélie's heart.

As a testament to the young teen's power, the entire thing was quite a display, enough to make Aurélie take pause with a rather troubling realization in her mind. It was painfully clear that Miss Alice Mordrake was a dangerous person to associate with. Young or not, blatant or not, it made no difference here anymore. In actuality, Aurélie found herself marveling a little at the girl's ability.

Such control! the golden haired young lady thought, as she glanced about calculatingly. Though the restaurant appeared to be going on as usual, it was clear that Alice Mordrake exerted some degree control over everybody inside.

Within the privacy of mind, Aurélie laughed. Her thoughts were still her own, she believed. Otherwise, she would have simply had no choice in the matter. And from her sister's reaction, it was clear that Adrian was still herself as well.

It seems we are both very useful to each other, Miss Mordrake, the young lady thought, the possibility of Alice Mordrake being able to hear it passing through her mind. Oh, to be sure, it was extremely disturbing but if there was nothing that could be done about it then why worry? Every one of Aurélie's thoughts were absolutely proper in any case.

As for her fairy tale, it snapped forward onto its correct route now. The point of Belle-Belle ou Le Chevalier Fortuné had been aid. It was a mutual pact.

Truly, I pity you,the heroine of the tale said to the fairy, and to prove my compassion I will help you.

In written reality, Alice Mordrake offered the service of her dolls. The course of this story was exceptionally clear now. It was a quiet, serene feeling.

"Oh my." The aristocrat straightened in her seat, adopting a solemn, businesslike air. "What an extraordinary offer, Alice," Aurélie said, the tone of her words indicating deep deliberation. In actuality, her mind had been made up. "I have not even been given the opportunity to do anything in particular for you yet."

Yet. Things really did appear to promise future amusement and Aurélie was not about to let them fall into ruin so easily. And after all, the golden haired young lady was always one to be appreciative of shear power.

With a slowly developing feline smile, Aurélie looked to Alice Mordrake. "Is this merely a loan? Or is it a gift that I might be able to find, ah," the golden haired young lady laughed gently, "continuous use for?"

The game had been won the moment Alice peered into the two girl's mind. Like so many of Alice's games, it had been a simple ordeal. Slip past Aurellie's pitiful mental defenses and read her like a book and read her Alice did. Her secrets could not be hidden from the princess of specter. No matter what she may have said or done outwardly, Alice knew that she had her claws in Aurellie' and now she was going to take -full- advantage of the situation. Alice paused for a second, folding a single hand under her nose as if in deep thought, letting out a long, exaurated drawn out "hmmmm" as she pondered. After pausing for a second her face seemingly lit up as if she just got a great idea.

"Well, you get to keep these dollies....but to get -full- custodidy of them you'll have to do some things for me. I was thinking we could form an...extended partnership.. You have certain tallants that I feel could be of use to my plans....and my organization..." Alice said. She paused and gracefully took a sip of her drink before casually waving her hand and calling forth a floating holo-screen.

On the screen, an image flashed of a strange red symbol that looked vaugly like an eye. It was a large red circle with a red dot in the center and red lines emanating from the center of the top and bottom of the circle. "Specter is my organization. It was founded by a collection of the worlds wealthiest businesspeople and seized control of by me with my powers. Our goal is simple, the pursuit of power, resources and ulitmatly to usurp the rulers of reality and seize their power for ourselves." Alice explained. As she talked, the screen showed various images that corrilated with her speech, first showing several of the buisnessmen who founded the organization and then moving towards an image of a red and black network grid ensnaring countless worlds as she explained the organization's goals.

"Our power extends to many places and if there is a company on this world, chances are we are pulling it's strings. We...or rather....I, can offer you much more then this...simple gift...of a few slaves and in return all I ask is that you aid me in whatever task I may need your assistance with. In return, I will give you these slaves to do with as you see fit, and will mutually give you aid if you should request it." Alice said , the screen illustrating specter's power by showing an unfolding web of countless massive corporations connected to the same eye-symbol from before, Specter's logo.

"So, what do you say? Do you want to tumble down the rabbit hole, Aurellie? Alice asked.

My French is bad. If you're fluent (and I know people are), correct me if I'm wrong.

S'il vous plaît ne faites pas cela : Please don't do this.
C'est trop dangereux : It's too dangerous.
Ton coeur est trop mou : Your heart is too soft.

Aurélie Fée Perrault (and Adrian Hexe Grimm)

As she listened through Alice Mordrake's presentation, Aurélie felt more and more the magnitude of what she could possibly be getting herself into. This was far more than just the local networks she was accustomed to dealing with in the past, the promise of regions and possibly even whole countries to be held in her dainty, cupped hands. That power and those vows, she knew, were meant to run right out through her fingers like water. And here now, with Alice Mordrake showing her that the entire world was coiled around her thumb, Aurélie could not help but wonder what kind of catch there was.

But it was an alluring offer, the most seductive one that the golden haired young lady had ever heard. The price, too, asked for something besides what she usually gave. Where others might have asked for connections or her hand in marriage, Alice Mordrake asked for business of a sort that Aurélie was not altogether held away from. It was a surprisingly delightful change of pace, one where she was expected to be the witch rather than the princess.

Yet, the princess was still deeply rooted into Aurélie's very being. The hollowed parts inside of her might have been filled with sweet darkness but the gilt over it still shone and had to continue doing so. She would only dirty her hands if the mud would slide off like oil on her glass.

It was at point Adrian decided to speak up, tapping the older sister on her elbow lightly. "S'il vous plaît ne faites pas cela," the dark haired young lady said quietly. "C'est trop dangereux." And though the motions were discreet, Aurélie could see her keep making slight jerking motions towards the doll family.

Such sentiment, Aurélie thought in resignation. It seemed that her sister would always be like this. Tilting her head slightly, she said to her in gentle rebuke, "Ton coeur est trop mou."

Adrian breathed out but said nothing, as was proper. As the younger sister, it was simply not her place to be stepping on the toes of future business partners. Not in public, anyways.

"Now whatever kind of assistance could I possibly offer to a person like you, dear Alice?" Aurélie said gamely. "It seems like you have the entire world bending over backwards for you already." It was because of this observation that the aristocrat was mildly troubled, although probably not for the reasons that Adrian was. If somebody with Alice's power already was struggling to accomplish their goals, then what was this thing that they were struggling against?

"You must understand, as well," Aurélie went on, "That unfortunately, I do hold certain obligations to our family's standing. If I were to walk with you down this way, I would prefer that nobody see it." She smiled angelically, "Nothing to do with you, of course. It is simply how our lives are limited."
