Appearance Description: Paprika Fuoco is a thin young man with pale skin, red eyes, and very long black hair which grows red near the tips the longer it gets. He dresses eccentrically, with no real coherent aesthetic to tie together all of the outfits that he wears. He's just as likely to appear wearing a business suit as he is to dress like a 50s housewife or a Roman emperor.
Personality Description: Paprika is a very eccentric man. He's the type who can just keep talking and talking if he isn't stopped, usually about his kitchen or his philosophy. He holds a very strong set of personal beliefs, which he refers to as 'Culinarianism', that argue that food, both in terms of cooking and eating, is the true goal of all human civilization and the most basic component of the soul. He is also extremely protective and affectionate towards his pet raccoon Signore.
Active Abilities:
Turn Up The Heat - Paprika can control and create fire. His fire isn't able to get catastrophically hot, but he has almost surgical precision over the shape and temperature of his flames.
Biography: Paprika Fuoco, born Joseph Penn, practically grew up in the kitchen of his father's downtown Manta Carlos restaurant and his mother's home workshop. Since childhood he was fascinated by both of them, leading his father to teach him to cook and his mother, from whom he inherited his powers, to let him watch her at work provided he didn't touch any power tools. By the time he was twelve Paprika had created his first personal kitchen appliance- a toaster designed specifically to be powered via his flames. A few years later his father started to let him work part time as a cook while also encouraging him to push his culinary exploration at home.
At the age of 16, with his parents' approval, Paprika dropped out of high school and began a catering business associated with his father's restaurant. After a few years he managed to build up enough success to open his own small place, Trattoria Fuoco, which he still operates now. At some point between leaving high school and now, Paprika met and befriended a raccoon whom he named Signore, later learning that Signore was blessed through unknown means to have both a human lifespan and a human palette. At home, Signore helps Paprika test new recipes.
Resources: Paprika makes almost all of his money from his restaurant or via catering under his restaurant's name. He himself lives in a very small apartment, pouring almost every dime he makes into his business.
