This is, as far as anyone can tell, an unprecedented event. While weather magic exists, it's generally greatly limited for reasons such as... well, this. Most likely, the weather is not being actively summoned each day, but instead was summoned in one grand working, and then left to run itself. A counter-working would require a
huge amount of concentrated magical energy, because the energy in this storm appears to be huge for how much snow it's dumping.
Snow Clearing Team:
Evan, Nix, Zora, Fehralyn, Riley, Fennik, Galen, Liun
The city appreciates your efforts to clear snow, and the city is able to keep running, even as the snow continues to build. If you guys want to do a group thread clearing out something prominent, like, say, the school entrance, feel free to tag each other!
General Assistance Team:
Aria, Yuki, Liron, Celeste, Krish, James
There's no end to people in need of help, as the snow is more than a foot and a half deep on average. There's always some new task to do, and the city sets up a hotline to help organize requests. If you'd like to do a group thread, feel free to tag each other.
Days of the Week Team:
Tuesday, Sunday, Wednesday, Saturday
This kind of major magic requires a thread of your own. Once the thread is started and ready to see how the magic goes, ping
@Kada to get things going.
Scanning Team:
Sasha
Sasha doesn't find much with their scanning, but does find themselves frequently bogged down by the intense amounts of snow.
Snow Studying Team:
Beatrice, Ade, Selkris, Anita, Jia An
Through a variety of tests, it's easy enough to confirm (for most people) that the snow is definitely magical in nature... but the snow itself is not magic. While the clouds above were likely summoned by magic, the clouds and snow themselves are primarily natural now. Attempts to desummon the snow do not work, but there's definitely signs of magical influence.
