Annie squealed with delight. So he could help her! Excellent! She happily looped arms with Logan and skipped as they marched over to the kitchen together. His name did sound French, but she didn't want to be rude and make assumptions. Sure enough, they arrived in the kitchen and every cook was scurrying about. There was a lot to do, and they couldn't keep guests waiting! She instinctively grabbed an apron for Logan and offered it to him. It was a lovely, clean apron that was likely meant to be paired with a pink uniform with it being pale pink.

"Hope you don't mind pink...oh! Well the thing is I was interested in bettering my culinary skills at first. Plans changed when it turned out that there was no leader. Since no one was stepping up, I decided to. I mean, it does help me learn management skills, right?"

This also allowed her to put her teachings from her fathers to proper practice. She directed the male over to the unoccupied counter. She also grabbed the huge two-table order while heading there. She read it over in clear view to Logan and frowned. The dishes were certainly French, but the amount of detail requested for each dish was insane. Doable, but insane. No wonder that girl panicked.

"I get to put various money and business practices to use, but right now I have to put my cooking skills to use. And...this is a pretty tall order...."

Logan wasn't put off by the bustling kitchen. This was normal for him, with all the activity in elections, and his club experience before that. He put the apron on and tied it in a flawless bow at his back. "I don't mind, no," he replied, shaking his head and smiling. He pointed to his eyes. "They match, don't they?"

"I'm the leader of three clubs right now. Music, Choir, and Fashion. I only planned on taking that role with the first one, but then, the other two's leaders had been inactive for a long while, so… I thought, why not? So, I suppose we have something in common there. It's useful training, I agree. I'm not sure I'd have been able to handle the elections if I didn't have my club experience. Definitely not."

Logan followed her and tapped his fingers on the counter, waiting for directions, and watched as Anthia read over the orders. Ah, customer service jobs, how ridiculous you are. He recognized all the French recipes requested. "I'm familiar with all of this. Where do you want to start?" He looked at her and gave a salute. "We've got this under control, you and I, it's not a problem."

Yes customer service was a ridiculous job, but she was happy that she had Logan here to help her out. Her eyes went from his apron to his eyes as he pointed out that they matched. Anthia's eyes widen. Wow, they did! Very flattering on the unicorn. A giggle escaped her lips.

"Maybe you should keep it."

That was a joke, though the apron was just a spare. It didn't actually have an owner. Well the first logical step was the appetizers. Tables were quickly provided with fresh bread rolls with butter and margarine to hold them over, but people could only eat so much bread of course. Thankfully the appetizers were calmer, so she felt confident enough to handle them.

"I'll put together the appetizers. If you could, please make this particular dish then start on the entrees when you're done."

The dish in question was another appetizer, but one she actually didn't feel as comfortable with making. It was Coquilles Saint-Jacques, a special dish involving scallops. It wasn't commonly ordered, and it would be nice to not have to handle meat for now anyway. She would meanwhile start on the other appetizers, all of which she was more comfortable with.

Logan huffed a laugh and twirled for her in the apron, posing and modeling it like he was born to do so. "Is that so? It is cute. It'd make a good souvenir and show of our alliance. I could give you a private piano performance in return."

He focused back in on work quickly enough, giving Anthia a thumbs up. He looked at the order. Coquilles Saint Jacques. Delicious. Logan was more than at home making dishes with meat involved, and despite his sugary looks, it was his favorite over the sweets, his real family's calling and pride as butchers. He located all the ingredients and went about the more complicated preparation. This was more work, but worth it, in his opinion. He went quiet for this, very professional, and gave his attention over to the cooking.

The eventual result was something out of a cookbook example picture, and Logan glowed with pride. He showed Anthia before it was to be sent out.

Anthia chuckled and clapped as Logan modeled the apron proudly. On second thought, he should totally take the apron. The idea of a private piano performance pleased her.

"I would love to listen to you play. Please feel free to keep the apron."

The girl meanwhile made the other appetizers. They were bread-based treats, including brie combined with delectable honey sauce glazed over it. She had no way of knowing that the scallop dish was the vice president candidate's favorite, but she for sure recognized talent when she saw the result of what he made. It was like he ripped it out of a cookbook! Her jaw dropped. Meanwhile her brie smelled and looked absolutely scrumptious, but the perfection of the Coquilles Saint Jacques was incredible!

"Wow....that's incredible! Maybe I should look to you for cooking lessons."

The appetizers were sent out. Now it was up to the waitresses to handle the rest. Next task for them was the entrees. This would be the hard part of the requests. Seeing how well the man did with the scallops, she delegated more fish-based dishes to him while she took care of the rest. Weirdly enough, there seemed to be a vegetarian among the party, and they were just as crazily specific as the meat-eaters if not even more so. She took charge of that along with a few other dishes like Tarte Flambée.

"I can't believe you lead three clubs...between campaigning and the cafe things are crazy for me. I also happen to be in other clubs, but I couldn't imagine taking the lead for any of them on top of what I have."

Logan had earned this pink apron. It was a small, but relevant win. "I will! You can think of music requests in the meantime. If you have anything you'd like played, I'll do my best. I'm planning on majoring in piano performance, so every bit of practice helps. It's my life."

He looked over Anthia's dish while she did the same with his, taking in the scent and sight. He rubbed the back of his neck a bit at her compliments, a shy modesty to him. "I'm mainly good with French food and um, meat. Cooking is a really valuable, proper skill to have, though. My family expected me to be at least decent in it, among other things, even if music is my true focus. I can teach you a little, though, sure. Tips and tricks."

Even if something wasn't your passion, you could still gain a practicality in it due to having standards. That was what he'd learned from his richer lifestyle. There were certain things you made the effort to learn, because that was what truly marked you as upper class. There was a difference, in Logan's opinion, between just having money and actually being part of the upper class.

While Logan's top preference was red meat, he was capable with fish as well, and had no problem taking over there. He was able to talk more as they worked, this time, settling into the motions. "Music club I'm, of course, a natural at runnning and most invested with. Choir isn't too overwhelming, it's practice and little shows. Fashion is the more dangerous point, but luckily, with that I can have members take charge in a lot of ways. They do a lot of individual projects with clothes making and displaying, using the club resources more than having me do too much supervising, and you don't have to have a fashion show every day. So that saves trouble. It's all about the club, I think. Maid cafe is pretty hands on feeling and has way more regular, busy little events."
