"Well, I'll just take the one at the right side of window," Thorn said as she nodded towards the right-side bed, before picking up her bag and putting it on the bed she's chosen. She wanted to sit down, but she felt awkward sitting while her roommate was standing.

She gestured towards the other bed. "Have a seat?" She wanted it to come out less awkward, but to her cutest luck ever, the statement came out more like a question. "And yes, I'm new here - and this world, too." She paused, deciding whether she should say where she's from or not. She decided otherwise, not wanting her roommate to run out of this room, screaming. She put on her smile again. "Erm...you didn't tell me your name." She said.

((Ah, didn't see this, was busy yesterday, sorry))

Eumelia immediately went over and sat on the bed on the left side of the window, surprised at the bounciness of the bed.

She was quite embarrassed at her neglect of introduction. "Oh, I'm very very sorry!", Eumelia said, covering her face a bit. "I apologize, I am Eumelia.", she said. The excitement had overridden her usual introduction. Once again, she refused to pry on her.. newness to Earth. Rather, she'd inquire about Thorn

"So, erm, Thorn, what hobbies do you have? I frequently write, but don't do much besides that." Eumelia was a bit surprised at her semi-lack of her formal tone. Perhaps it was because she was getting more used to Earth. Although, she was unsure if it was a good change or not.

"Hmm...what hobbies do I have?" Thorn mused. "That's quite a question, really. I do different things at different times. When I feel sad and alone, I read a depressing novel - that makes me forget my own problems. And when I feel cheery or excited...I do...things?" She shrugged, not knowing what to say. "My point is, I don't have one hobby. I do different things at different times. What about you? What do you like to do?"

Thorn picked up her bag, zipping it open. Beneath the protective fabric was her clothes (only two outfits, a pair of spare pants and an extra coffee stained t-shirt - she had ran away with less clothes than she should have, and was desperately in need of shopping), her phablet (she's gotten it recently, since the place she ran off from didn't need mobile phones/tablets/ipods) and a few other of her belongings. She looked up at Eumelia, saying, "You've unpacked already, or what?"
