Emily opened the door into the second floor classroom. A slight flinch halted her stride as she was suddenly hit with the flavors of what the people inside were feeling. She was fairly early, so there weren't that many people there yet, but she imagined it would fill up pretty quickly. She at least thought more people found collage psychology to be interesting.
She licked her lips, clearing her palate of the bland taste of boredom as she skirted around the edge of the room. She selected a seat near the back, where she wouldn't be too isolated, but she wasn't the center of attention either. She just hoped that she wouldn't end up distracted by the emotions the other students would be feeling. As long there wasn't anything too strong, she would be fine.
