Emily licked her lips a little, tasting the curiosity off Lochlann. "I see... but... not with Addy?... Are you afraid of hurting your friendship with her?" She went to right this down but then discovered the several minutes of missing information. "Oh shoot!" she muttered under her breath. Her hand dashed across the page as her attention deviated to recalling all they'd been talking about.

After managing to fill in most of the page, she cleared her throat and looked back up to Loch. "Well... Yes. I imagine a psychiatry office is within the plans of most of those with my major and focus." She giggled a little. "I suppose I could set up at my home instead, or maybe a fortune telling tent."

"No," Lochlann said. "I think sex makes things better, not worse. Addy's just not interested in having that in our relationship, and I respect her decision."

He blushed a little, but otherwise he spoke easily about this subject. The blush came more from thinking about trying to get Addy in his bed than it did from the idea of sex itself.

So, because they were on the subject, Lochlann asked, "Have you ever spent the night with someone?"

He nodded when she explained about the office. He supposed that made sense. He didn't know much about psychologists; his only run-ins had been a few guidance counselors at school visits. However, when she mentioned fortune telling tents, he tilted his head and asked, "You are going to tell fortunes, too?"

"I..... See..." Emily tilted her head a little as she pondered this. "So are all your 'companions' close friends? Or do they just fall all over the spectrum?" She went to write this into her notes, but had to turn the page for more room. Her notes seemed rather professional. She seemed to only ponder things more when she caught him blushing.

Of course, Loch then asked about her sex life, which immediately had her the color of an apple. "I-I...! That's n-n-n-none of...! I-I-I d-don't th-think...!" She reflexively objected, or tried to object, before it occurred to her that she had been doing kind of the same thing to Loch. It was only fair he could ask her about the same thing. With a little whine, Emily forced herself to be as composed as possible, sitting up straight and trying to look proper even though she was still blushing heavily.

"N... N-No..... I-I... I h-haven't, n-no....." There really wasn't a reason for her to be so embarrassed about this, but still, she felt awkward about it. "I... I don't know that I'll be telling fortunes while psychologically evaluating people. But I know how to draw and read tarot cards, and a few other fortune telling techniques."

"Most of them are close friends," Lochlann said. He said Most, because he didn't know where to place Guinevere Haze and Cecelia/Gabriel Baltimore and, try as he might, he couldn't get Dorito Lovis to do much more than sleep with him.

When she was flustered in response, Lochlann gave her a disarming smile. He'd chewed the end of the pencil to splinters now, but amusement was pouring off of him in waves.

"no one?" he echoed. "That's okay. I find sex is often about enjoying the other person's body and sharing something with that person, but I understand that it can be hard to do if you don't feel safe or trusting with another person."

But, then, in the same breath, Lochlann smiled at her.

It wasn't really a predatory smile, but it would be easy to see how he could lure someone in with it.

"But, if you'd ever like, I would be happy to share that experience with you," he said. "You're very cute, and I've been enjoying talking with you. I could make it worth your while."

When she mentioned tarot cards, Lochlann perked up again and took the pencil from out of his mouth.

"Would you ever read my fortune?" he asked. His eyes narrowed and his grin turned mischievous.

Em fidgeted a little bit in her seat, looking down at her hands as she twisted her fingers around each other. She glanced around at the other people in the classroom as she licked her lips. No one appeared to be paying attention to them, thankfully. ".....I know a lot of people just... G-Go and do it... B-But some of us th-think the first time is important... W-Want it to b-be..."

She squinted at him, catching his smile and somehow being drawn in by it while also being suspicious of it at the same time. Her blush only darkened more as he continued to try and seduce her. 'Worth her while'? That sounded incredibly suggestive. "... W... What are you implying?... D-Don't... Tease m-me..."

Having Lochlann appear interested in her readings calmed her down a little bit. "I-I could read it, yes... I-If you wanted me to..." She didn't understand why he would be mischievous about that, though.

Lochlann still had his head propped up in his hand, but now that he wasn't chewing on his pencil anymore he was tapping it on the table.

"That's fair enough," Lochlann said. "I feel that everytime is important, though, not just the first time."

He grinned his slow, lazy grin at her.

"I'm not teasing, either. You're cute, you're nice. If you were ever up for it, I would be more than interested in sleeping with you," he said. "There's never any pressure. You don't have to accept it, but the offer is always on the table."

Lochlann was capable of playing the games, of doing the double entandres and saying one thing and meaning the other, but he saw no reason to do that in a situation like this. He was straight forward in his offer and he gave her a once-over with his eyes that was interested in more ways than one, not not leering.

He was thinking about fortune telling and sex now, although, not at the same time. But, for some reason, the idea of making love to a woman while she looked over a crystal ball suddenly struck him as a brilliant idea. He would have to sleep with a fortune teller one day.

He thought about this like some people thought, ah, I should make pizza for dinner.

"I would like it," Lochlann said. "Reading my fortune, I mean."

Well, he'd like the sex, too, but he was actually talking about the fortune telling.

"What if we make a deal? You'll read my fortune for me, and I'll offer you something in exchange. It won't be anything you won't dislike, I promise."

His grin widened and he continued to tap his pencil off the desk.

Emily was bouncing her eyes again, twirling a strand of her hair around her finger. "W-Well... Yes, but... The first time... I-Isn't something you c-can ever get back... I-It's going to stay with you forever... Wh-Who you... give it to..." She fidgeted around again, just listening to the complements and getting more and more embarrassed, licking her lips occasionally. "... On the t-table... I... I s-suppose that's fine..."

She made a small eep sound and stiffened a little, until Loch clarified he was talking about the fortune telling this time. She took a couple deep breathes so that she could calm down from this awkward topic they'd picked up. She would have done the reading for free, but Loch offered a trade. "...O-Okey... I t-think I can agree t-to that..." It wasn't like she had to accept what he offered after all.

"Well, you can't really get any of the times back," Lochlann said. "And yes, you're giving something, but you're also getting something back. Ideally, it's an even exchange."

Ideally, though. Lochlann frowned, because he was thinking about Guinevere Haze. For some reason, he felt that he'd given Guin something he could never get back. He shook his head and his dark curls bounced as though trying to shake the very thoughts from his mind.

He watched her lick her lips and it made him hungry.

"Excellent!" Lochlann said. "How about at dinner? You'l read my cards, i'll bring you something in exchange. It'll be a fun night."

"I... Suppose th-that's correct... Still though... I... Want to be careful... Some people will just take from you... and..." She trailed off a little, she didn't really know any of this first hand. Em expected that even if she had been propositioned before, it would be guys who thought they could have whichever girl they wanted because of their popularity.

"Well... Alright, we can do that... I can't... The setting is important, the reading might be a little skewed if we do it at a restaurant... B-But it should be fine..."

"Well, that's true enough," Lochlann said, shrugging. He couldn't control those sorts of people, only himself and what he had to offer.

Well, he couldn't really control himself that well, either, but he didn't want to have to bring up also sometimes after sex i eat people into a conversation.

"What if we do it outside?" Lochlann asked. "Outside the restaurant, I mean."

He had a place in mind with a nice little outdoor area they could sit. He wanted to take advantage of the weather while it was still nice, too.
