Katie gave a small smile as she danced together with Vespa. "Yup!" She answered when asked if this was normal, though bringing a date might be stretching it, especially since only Katie seemed to be aware of the fact that they were a couple.

Though as they danced together, Katie began to get an idea, especially when Vespa asked what else they could. "Well, umm. We could also.." and with that Katie leaned in and gave Vespa a small peck on the lips. It lasted maybe a half second, but once it was done Katie was giggling."We could also do that."

Ezra walked quietly into the ballroom, hands clasped behind their back. The noise was loud and resonating in their ears and they couldn't help but be somewhat uncomfortable. It was definitely different from the few formal ballroom excursions they had been to previously where the music was softer and played on instruments with wealthy socialites who were out to engage in commentary and build professional relationships. In comparison, this was about having fun and Ezra was determined to have it.

They had chosen to dress in a somewhat formal manner for the occasion, clad in a purple dress shirt with black slacks. They wore a black vest over the shirt and their normally pinned up hair now hung loose yet styled in a fashionable manner. All they had to do now was wait for Tadashi to have the fun begin for real.

"I'm sure you'll be fine! Just copy me," Yuki laughed and grinned as he began to sidestep to the music, quickly leading into an embarrassing but hilariously fun series of musical theatre style digs and getting Gabe to join him. It was stupid but it was fun. For once he didn't care how he looked and it...it was an amazing experience. He wasn't being evaluated, judged, wasn't having to use the butterfly persona or anything. And he was here with his boyfriend. Nothing could be nicer than that. He found his smile widening to the point of grinning foolishly, and he gave Gabe a quick peck on the cheek, biting his lip mischievously as the bridge built up to the chorus again. He couldn't help it! He was just too cute!

Eventually the song reached its climax, and Yuki couldn't resist the urge to show off just a little bit. He took on a Charlie Chaplin type series of expressions as he shuffled backwards, forwards and sideways in quick succession and ended the song with a spin. (He said he didn't have experience with breakdancing. No one had said anything about contemporary.)

The song cooled down quickly again though to a mellower track, taking the boy by surprise. He wouldn't object to more intimacy though, and was bold enough to just wrap Gabe in a hug as he leant his head on his partner's shoulder and looked at him with an adoring gaze. "I'm glad you invited me," he whispered.

The vampire boy would smile, happy that she liked it, and completely ignorant about what she thought was happening. "And I'll be sure to keep the suit to wear to it," she seemed to like it, and it was growing on him too.

Wrapping an arm around her she'd give her a quick peck on the lips. "So, wanna keep dancing?" he'd ask with a small smile. "Lots of snacks if you're hungry, and after we're done theres a new ice cream shop I wanted to take you too." @Pallas

"Say what you want, but I know the truth. You look great in those heels, but you might wanna consider flats next time," he quipped as they danced. He was grinning, she could probably see it in his eyes.

"Well, I guess that means you owe this moron a favor. And I can just hold onto this for as long as I want," he said in a dramatic sinister tone.

She'd blink in surprise when the other girl kissed her. "Ok...," she'd shrug, "sure." She didn't really care about what was or wasn't acceptable for the dance Anyways.

So the reaper girl would lean in and kiss the other. They'd made out quite a few times at this point, so she was used to it, it was relatively normal to her. @Big Jeffe

Gabe felt himself getting pulled along into the dance with Yuki and couldn't help but laugh at the silliness of it all. He liked seeing this side of his boyfriend; the one where he didn't care about appearances or what others thought. He just wanted to enjoy the night out and Gabe followed along with as many ridiculous steps as he could. A peck of the cheek left the plant user with a faint blush across his face and he was thankful for the lighting to hide it.

When the song began to wrap up and his boyfriend finished with a flurry of shuffles, steps, and a spin, Gabriel couldn't help but smile and give a small round of applause. "Bravo, very impressive." Gabe giggled, then noticed the song shift back to something mellow. Yuki had moved in close once again and Gabe led the two in a gentle sway.

"There's no one I'd rather be here with." He chuckled before leaning in and pressing a gentle kiss on his boyfriend's lips. It was feather soft and quick but he didn't want to be too affectionate at the dance.

Ezra turned, their neutral gaze locking onto the bakeneko. The noise from the music was still somewhat disruptive and they focused their attention as much as they could on Tadashi. "Hello, Tadashi. It is wonderful to see you here. Thank you for coming."

They examined the boy's outfit carefully, starting from the properly combed hair, down to the styled clothing and shined shoes before returning their gaze up to his face. "You are very well-dressed this evening... It is quite a good look for you." They smiled faintly before motioning toward the center of the ballroom. "Shall we head further in? We could dance, if you wish."
