Appearance Description:
Normal: Stands about 5’3, with a petite build. She has fair skin and blue eyes. Her hair is blonde, and extends down past her shoulders. Typically dresses in a stereotypical “girly” style of dress. Lots of dresses, skirts, flats etc. Wears lots of pastel colors.
Magic: Very similar to her normal form, the only difference is she now stands 5’10, and her hair is now white.
Personality Description:
- Tries to befriend every person she meets, tries to see the best in everyone she meets.
- Gullible: Believes just about anything she’s told, tends to blindly trust others.
- Once her mind is made up, there’s no changing it. Often refuses to admit when she’s wrong
- Outgoing
- Always tries to see the best in others.
- Always tries to be helpful, even if that help isn't wanted.
Active Abilities:
Transformation: Able to magically shape shift between her normal and magic girl forms. However, this power is limited to within the magic girl realm created by Gray Ghost. Cannot be used otherwise.
Light Manipulation: Able to generate small balls of light that float around her, these lights can be used in a number of ways including: Lighting up dark places, knocking others back, and temporarily blinding others. However, this power can only be used inside of Gray Ghosts magic world, and she can only summon a max of 6 at one time.
Staff: Staff that has a sunlike figurehead at the top. She can use it in the magic world to focus her balls of light into a single concentrated blast that is powerful enough to knock others out. Can only be used in the Gray Ghosts world, outside it functions as a normal, non magical staff.
Healing: Able to heal others, to an extent. Currently this power is only limited to small stuff, cuts, bruises, that sorta thing.
Passive Abilities:
Healing: Able to heal herself of any minor injuries, such as cuts and bruises within a matter of minutes. Larger injuries, such as broken bones heal within a week.
Weaknesses:
Caffeine: Considering she's already pretty energetic, ingesting caffeine gives her an "energy boost" that makes her incredibly jittery, and makes her unable to focus on a single task for more than a few minutes. Depending on how much she drank this can last from between 1 to 3 hours.
Biography:
Katie was born April 18th in Massachusetts. The first few years of her life were uneventful, and pretty normal for a kid her age. That said, she had a hardly noticeable tendency to not get hurt. Things that should have left a mark, a bruise, something, simply left nothing at all. While her parents certainly noticed, they figured she’d grow out it.
Except she didn’t. No matter what, nothing seemed to seriously affect her. She’d still react to pain, but nothing would actually leave a mark, and whatever did faded fast. Of course, Katie, being a kid, thought this made her invincible. Long story short, she broke her leg, and had a meltdown when it didn’t immediately heal. After a fair scolding from her parents, and coming to terms with the fact that no, she couldn’t heal from everything as fast a possible, she moved on. And that was that.
For a time, during her high school years, realized that she could heal others, nothing major, but it certainly came in handy. Still, she kept it a secret from her parents, afraid of how they would react. This all came to a head during her 15th birthday, when her father burned himself, pretty badly too. As he ran cold water over the burn Katie, without thinking, healed it. This, of course, came as a shock to both of them. Her father trying to understand what just happened, and Katie, realizing what she did. This led to her apologizing profusely afraid of being punished for her powers.
Yet that wasn’t what happened, instead of her family embraced her powers with open arms. And then abused them. Anytime anyone had an injury, Katie was expected to come heal them, no matter what she was doing before. This led her to start trying to look for a way to get away from her family, so she wouldn’t be asked to fix every tiny little bump and scrape. Eventually, she was scouted and sent to Starlight Academy via a portal in Boston.
