"Woah.. are you alright? Maybe I should go get a nurse.."

She started to shake from the pain, she tried so hard to stay awake. Her leg felt miserable, her body only knew one way to deal with the pain. And that was shutting down she whimpered. The pain was so much, she felt the room growing hazy and she slowly but surely passed out. Berserker shivered, he knew his master was in pain. He also knew he couldn't do anything about it because of his not being a human anymore.

A nurse came into the room, followed by Paul, to examine her leg. He gasped when he saw her passed out, but the Nurse assured him she was fine. He sat back in the chair while the nurse thoroughly examined her leg. Corona once again commented on how things would be so much easier if he just had access to his healing spells.

Maura awoke after the nurse had left, she whimpered lightly as the pain medicine started to kick in. She hated the fact that she forgot things sometimes, she looked at her leg seeing the bandage had been changed as well as the cast hardened. She sighed, she guessed she'd be in here longer because of it. She looked down, sighingshe had only wanted to see if the boy was going to be okay and she ended up making herself worse. She sighed, she had been stupid to try and move when her leg was broken. Though she hadn't remembered that on the spur of the moment.

"Have a nice sleep? How is your leg doing? You should be more careful, or you'll just lengthen your stay here, you know?"

She looked at him relieved that he was okay, She remembered the way her grandfather died. That was why she had reacted like she had, she would've probably hugged him if she didn't have a broken leg. She didn't want to admit she was worried about him for a bit, because it would've been odd since she had said before she didn't want him around. But she didn't like watching good people die if they were truly good and did nothing to her or Berserker's knowledge of evil.

"I'm fine, I just thought I saw something..." She said not saying more than that.

"Uh..oh..okay then. So umm.. How long must Berserker rest? Will he be back soon?"

"He's been out for a few days so he'd have to rest a day before coming back." She paused thinking for a moment wondering about this boy. She smirked coming up with a very prying question. "So... You have a girl?" She asked cheekily, she wanted to see how uncomfortable he got. Usually guys were like that, she just wanted to make the silence stop seeing he looked so uncomfortable with silence she figured the odd question would ease the silence and make him feel at ease after his embarassment was over.

"A... girl? I'm afraid I don't un-" He shook his head. "You mean like a girlfriend?" Why did he get the sudden urge to say he didn't understand? Something suddenly gave him the urge to act stupid. Strange. "I wonder.. why would you care about that? You didn't seem to be one to do that. Do you really want to know?"

"Oh I don't know... Your single aren't cha? Must be a lot of cute girls after you all the time. You know you really should try to wear colors that bring out your eyes." She said in a rather unshy manner. She wanted to see the boy blush from embarassment. She tried to think of something that would force the boy to be utterly embarassed she figured Corona would get a kick out of it anyway. Paul was just such a unsuspecting fellow. "You know... I bet you've been kissed a dozen times because girls just find you so tall dark and handsome." She was chuckling on the inside.

"Um." He didn't seem sure of what to say. Though she wasn't too far off. He surely was single, but Rae certainly seemed to have a thing for him. She also kissed him that one time.. while he was asleep. Her teasing led to pondering more than embarrassment. He could sense some sort of amusement in her feelings as well, which made him wonder if they were serious questions or if she was teasing him somehow. She didn't seem like one to be interested in love or anything, so it wasn't like she was trying to scope him out or anything. Or at least, he was pretty sure that was the case.

"There is this one girl, actually. But we aren't really.. 'together'. Other than that, no, not really. Unless I didn't notice, not too many girls were ever interested in me. Why is it you're so interested, I wonder?"
