"It... doesn't bother me that much." Volkan's eyes trailed away as he uttered those words. They were honest, and so he was instinctively hesitant letting them slip out of him. But that hesitance fortunately didn't last too long, and he was able to look at Lionel again just after a moment, even though his worry hung over his shoulders and remained close.

He held his hand out, touching Lionel's hair just as he's been doing often lately, as if it was a habit that was still being developed. Volkan would pet his head gently, and then his hand would slowly slide down to the side. Two more moves was all it took before their lips would touch each other again, but Volkan halted just before those two moves could get past him. Instead he took his hand back, and tucked it inside his jacket's pocket.

He closed his eyes briefly as he turned his head back to the path ahead of them.

"It doesn't bother me but... your words make me want another... Well, I don't want to be tactless."

Lionel looked softly at the other man as his hand played gently with his hair, waiting for him to speak. He could feel the honesty behind them, mixed with nervousness and something akin to hesitance. He hummed softly in protest as Volkan's hand suddenly left his hair, returning to the man's jacket pocket, before anything more could be said or done. Then, a few seconds later, he got his explanation why and it made him burst with amused laughter.

''Is that all?'', he said, his voice still laced with mirth though he was trying very hard to stop laughing, for it would make what he was about to do very awkward. Grinning was bad enough as it was, but he could do nothing about the fact, Volkan's words echoing in his head again and again and again making him burst into another fit of strong laughter every time they did so.

''There's no need to hold yourself back'', he said, putting his hand on the back of Volkan's neck once he had finally gotten a hold on himself, mostly because his sides had started to hurt too much to continue laughing rather than anything else. ''It's not really tactless if we both want to do it, right?'', he asked, before suddenly pulling Volkan closer to himself.

Volkan flinched. Lionel's laugh had caught him off guard, and as that sunk in, the man couldn't help but roll his eyes away. His face grew hotter by each second, while he wondered in silence, as he let Lionel exhaust himself, what was so funny with what he said.

He staggered towards the other as he was pulled, and his eyes were forced to move back and look at Lionel again. Volkan thought there was no way he could be even more uneasy than he already was at the moment.

"It still is, considering we're outside." His lips curved to a small pout. "You... didn't have to laugh at me so much, y'know... Wasn't trying to be funny."

''No, you weren't'', Lionel said, a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips again as he pulled the other man even closer to himself, his breath now dancing at the edge of Volkan's lips as he continued to speak. ''Which is why I wasn't laughing because it was funny'', he said, his eyes filled with mirth as he did so. ''Or at least not in the usual way'', he said, before he pulled Volkan into a kiss, his lips warm, and strong, but moving slowly for decency's sake, and because Volkan seemed to mind how far they went in public. Lionel did, too, somewhat. His boundaries were much broader it seemed. He would need to reel himself in.

''I laughed because it was cute'', he said a few seconds later as he let the other man go. ''Even if it wasn't meant to be'', he said, smiling for real now. ''Don't worry about other people much. They probably won't even notice.''

@Trahnael: I really have no excuse this time except life, and laziness, and no time management skills.
