And no, Volkan had no such intention. He was about to speak then, wondering what Lionel meant with that last thing said when he suddenly realized that his lips were already sealed with another pair, keeping him from uttering a word. For a couple of seconds, Volkan was frozen and awkwardly rigid as his brain slowly processed it. He could feel Lionel's lips. And he could feel them not only on his own, but also on his chest, and down to his stomach, as if the contact had sent a bolt of electricity down his body, striking him, making him tingly and really warm everywhere.

And while this was his first, Volkan gave a response, as if on instinct, and leaned forward against Lionel, hands on the bed to support his weight, eyes softening and narrowing, lips opening to accept the other man.

It felt right, it felt light and exciting in his chest, even though his kiss wasn't exactly the most elegant-- rather his lips almost felt like they didn't know how to move, as he's never done this before-- and even though a kiss even before the first date was probably a bit of an aggressive move.

That didn't matter, he supposed, all these thoughts filling him just like how the warmth on their lips filled his body. Lionel's intentions were crystal-clear, and Volkan knew in himself that he had the same desire towards the said man.

But he eventually broke the kiss, worried that letting it continue might be something they'd regret if it got too... hot. His face flushed, Volkan slowly pulled away, his eyes wide with slight surprise, but locked on Lionel's with the need to see what his own reaction was.

"...Are we... still heading out..?" he asked rather breathlessly.

Lionel closed his eyes as his lips finally met Volkan's, the other man's mouth as warm as his hands had been and giving him such wonderful ideas; Ideas which he, however, kept firmly at bay, throwing them as far away as he could the moment they made themselves known. He was already taking things much further than he had intended, he thought to himself as he waited for Volkan to process what was happening, knowing that the other man probably really needed those few seconds to realise what, exactly, was suddenly going on. And he really shouldn't take it even further than that, he reminded himself firmly, as Volkan finally, responded to his kiss. And thankfully, it was not to push him away.

Lionel felt Volkan moving, his weight shifting as he leaned into the kiss, the bed under them giving a soft sound as a response, it to adjusting to the sudden change of weight. Volkan's mouth felt absolutely amazing against Lionel's and as the other man opened his mouth, accepting his kiss even more, Lionel could not help but pull a few tricks with his tongue, all the while reminding himself to keep it tame, to not cross a certain line. He had already left one in the dust, far, far behind hem. He would not cross another, though things were getting dangerously close tot hat.

Thus, despite the warmth spreading through him, from his lips, to his chest, stomach and lower parts of the body, despite the excitement and the very beginnings of lust, he could admit as much, he allowed Volkan to break the kiss in the end without much protest. Instead, he simply opened his eyes, and looked at the other man, a giant smile slowly making its way onto his face, as he licked his lips, getting one last taste of the other man before responding.

''Yes'', he said, his eyes a shade darker than they had been when the kiss had started. ''Of course'', he added, giving Volkan a small teasing grin. ''As I said, this was just me joining you overboard for a bit.''

We should go overboard more often then, a deep and more honest voice rang inside Volkan's head, which he tried to repress with a sharp inhale through the nose, his eyes closing for the briefest moment. It was all he could do to keep his mind from exploring more enticing thoughts, and his face from heating up even further from the embarrassment of merely entertaining them.

"Alright," was the word that escaped him after that. He stood up, grabbing his jacket from where he had dropped it, and then wearing it swiftly yet carefully before taking the photo album once again in his hand. He secured it between his left arm and his torso, and hand-combed his hair with his right hand. It's gotten a little messy, but the spikes of his hair looked so natural that they actually suited him. And that leather jacket.

And then Volkan absentmindedly licked the side of his lips, still feeling Lionel on them. His own tongue touched a little of the scar there and made him wonder what it would've felt like. It was bumpy and rough, that's all he knew. And Lionel would be a really weird guy to his eyes if he thought this was pleasant.

Lionel let his eyes wonder shamelessly, taking in Volkan's form as he stood up, hand-combing his already somewhat messy hair. ''You look hot'', he said openly as his gaze slowly moved from the other man's hair to his leather jacket, which suited him perfectly, while also doing some nasty things to Lionel's self control, now that he knew that he was allowed to kiss, and touch, and look, mostly by making him want to do the first two even more, when he really knew that he should stick to looking, at least for as long as it took them to actually go out, and on their first date.

''Maybe even hotter than you feel'', he said thus with a lazy grin instead of trying to steal yet another kiss from Volkan's warm mouth, choosing instead to grab his own jacket, checking it for money, phone and keys, satisfied only once he had found all three.

''You can leave that here while we are out'', he said, once he was ready, having noticed the way Volkan chose to carry his gift once he was not too busy checking him out to take note of anything else. ''I should have bought a bag to give it to you in'', he said, frowning at a fact that he had forgot about something like that until now, despite the fact that he had originally offered Volkan to leave the gift here so that he could invite him up to his room again, once they had finished their date.

"......" Volkan quietly turned to Lionel, his face hinting the slightest bafflement. He's already heard the same thing from the same man a few times, and while he was already beginning to get used to it, the words still always manage to fluster him somehow.

But he actually managed to give a composed response this time. "Not as hot as that kiss." And a small smirk surfaced once more.

He held the photo album in his right hand and took a good look at it, and then he put it back on the desk. Their eyes met. "So I'd come back here?" he asked, almost in a teasing manner. He wouldn't have, however, put the object back down if he disliked the idea.

"A bag's unnecessary." He noticed that Lionel was all ready to go, now wearing his own jacket and having just acquired his things. Volkan approached him, reaching out to flick a few stray brown locks away from his forehead.

"So, shall we go?" he smiled faintly.

''Yeah'', Lionel said, once again shameless and refusing to hold anything back, not even flustered that Volkan has seen through his weak excuse of leaving the present behind so he could invite him back up to his room again. Instead, he felt his own excitement rise in turn as Volkan smirked at him, returning the compliment instead of getting flustered by it himself, like he had before, on a few occasion Lionel had complimented his looks.

''So you could come back'', he continued, his smile growing wider as Volkan approached him, his fingers quick in gentle as they moved the few stray locks of hair which had fallen on his forehead. ''For some more hotter than you kisses'', he said, giving Volkan a charming, shameless smile and a look which spoke volumes all by itself.

''After the date, though'', he said then, turning towards the door and opening them, exiting into the hallway. ''So it can be proper'', he joked, though he still didn't move closer to Volkan again, even though he really, really wanted to. He will wait until after the date, if for nothing else, then for the fact that things occasionally tended to be even sweeter when you had to wait for them.

Volkan followed towards the hallway. His face was back to its calm and straight look, and his hands were in his jacket's pockets, which all made him look cool and composed rather than shyly quiet. There wasn't much to say, especially since he couldn't think of anything, at the moment, other than Lionel, and the kiss, and the warmth, the tingling sensation, their date, and more kisses he had the possibility of having later on.

It was probably not very good that Lionel had mentioned that. It only made Volkan expect for it, and the quietness made him focus on those thoughts, and other possibilities that could happen as well.

The wind outside felt colder than how it should be against Volkan's face, mostly because his skin was naturally warm even while the air was cold. It didn't trouble him much, however, as the warmth soon began to surround the two of them as if they were emitted from Volkan. If it were already snowing, the snow probably would've melted against his skin right away.

Lionel never cared much for the cold, having spent much of his childhood in places which rarely, if ever saw snow. Still, the shiver that went through his body was stronger and the air felt colder than it should have, probably because of the warmth which had seeped into his skin during the massage, the fact that he was so warm a moment ago making a contrast much sharper, and stronger.

Thus, when a few moments into their walk Volkan suddenly started emitting warmth, Lionel all but cuddled into his side, walking as close to the other man as he could without disrupting his steps. ''I might have to rethink the whole looking hotter than you feel thing'', he laughed, taking a side look at Volkan as he did so.

''No, you still look hotter'', he was however quick to decide in the end, as he once again took the whole of Volkan's appearance, especially now, on the outside, with better light. ''So, do you have anywhere you want to go, or shall I just take you wherever?'', he asked a moment later as they slowly crossed the Academy grounds.

"Lionel, you're quite frank," Volkan muttered, returning that side glance. He didn't dislike it, but there was no harm in wishing Lionel would tone the teasing down. Especially just after they've kissed, and the feeling still lingered, and while the taller man usually seemed stoic on the outside, he, too, could have wants that he'd rather suppress. Lionel was making it all harder-- he always has. Teasing him sounded like an enticement, because it made him feel all fuzzy.

And Volkan couldn't do anything about it, because he was the extreme opposite of frankness.

And so he decided it probably shouldn't matter. "Anywhere's okay," he shrugged, truthfully not having any place in mind, and at the same time fully trusting that Lionel would pick a nice place. "..." He bit his lower lip though, wanting to take his word back for a moment. "...Somewhere quiet would be nicer."

''I know just the place, then'', Lionel said, his voice much more subdued than it had been a moment before, an image of a small, quiet cafe downtown, away from the business of the main streets, but with great food still forming in his mind as a destination, as the tried to see whether Volkan's comment about his frankness was something the other man truly minded without actually using his powers.

In the end, he settled that no, not really, and that, once again, he should simply tell the truth. ''Yeah'', he said simply in the end, shrugging his shoulders. ''I am used to telling people what I think directly. Never been one for lying or dancing around certain subjects.''

Part of that was, he supposed, that somehow he felt that he owned people the truth, what with his powers being what they are, and telling him things even when he was not really using them. The other part of course was his parents' parenting, but also the fact that he did not want to spend ages building a relationship, or approaching one, only for it to turn out in the end to not be what he, or the other person, had wanted.

''I'll hold back the compliments, though, if it bothers you, but'', he said, shrugging his shoulders again. ''You look good, you know, and I like you and I want you to know that. That's all. Even if I tease you, or it seems like I am'', he said, giving the other man a small smile.
