Savannah threw herself on her bed, and wrapped herself up in blankets. She'd only been here for a little while, but a lot of things had happened. She'd met people, some she liked, some she didn't. She'd felt lonely, she'd felt remembered, she felt cold she felt hot. She'd felt anger, and she had felt love. 'This is one hay of a place, if only Mom and Dad could see me here, now.' She looked around the room, her eyes settling on the empty bed across form her. Claire was her room mate, but they hadn't talked in forever. She moved some things around next to her bed, and pulled the top blanket around her shoulders. She sat still wondering how things were going for her younger friend. People, people, people, so many of them and they were all different. She hadn't liked everyone she met, but she had liked most people. There were some on her special list, people she wanted to hang out with or meet again. Thinking about them made her smile. 'My life sure has changed since I got here.' She started humming the tune she'd played out in the woods not too long ago and let her mind drift. Having a guy, a boyfriend, to protect her and cherish her would be awesome. 'But you have to be patient, or else you'll get desperate and make a big mistake you'll regret.' Her thoughts, however, were interrupted when the door started to open.

Claire had so many different things happened to her, in the short time she had been here. Some things, that she regretted, that she loved. She had made tons of friends, and not really any enemies. She felt better, she had a different outlook on this school. She loved it, and wouldn't want to eave it to go back to a different school. Though, she favorite thing as still the forest, and that would never change.

She needed to think, or talk to someone about everything that had happened. She felt so grown up, even though it had only been a short time. She walked into her dorm room slowly, pushing the door slightly.

'I wonder if Savannah is here.' She thought to herself. It had been forever since they had talked, and she was really the first person hat she had met, aside from the people she had met while in the forest. Claire had so much to tell her, if she wanted to know of course. She continue to open the door and to her enjoy, Savannah was there. She put on a smile and sat on her bed. "I am so glad to see you Savannah."

Savannah looked to see Claire had entered the room. 'Crazy timing,' she thought to herself. She waved and pulled the blanket tighter. She wondered if they'd get to talk, or if Claire would have to leave.

"I am so glad to see you Savannah."

"Hey Claire, it's been a while since we talked, it's good to see you here as well. Life has been busy since i got here, and I guess it's the same for you, huh?" She hoped that they'd be able to catch up on things, and see what had happened since the both arrived. She puled her legs onto the bed, and sat cross legged, awaiting for reply.

"Yeah, it has been crazy. So much has happened." Claire smiled at Savannah, wondering what happened to her in the time that they hadn't talked. "Do you have any time to talk? Or do you have to go soon?" She asked more politely then unusual.

"I would love to catch up on everything." She looked around, still sitting on her bed. 'Wow.' She thought. It had been forever since she had enough time to just stay in her dorm, or want to. Usually she was out in the forest, or walking around. It wasn't that she didn't like Savannah, she just liked to do other things then sit around.

Savannah smiled as she saw Claire actually staying on the bed. Now, maybe they'd have time to talk! She knew exactly what Claire was talking about. There was lots to do, places to explore, people to meet, and still more of it.

"Do you have any time to talk? Or do you have to go soon?"

"I actually have some spare time, and catching up on things would be terrific! It's just been so busy since we got here, you know? And there's still lots of places and people and I haven't been to or met. So, tell me have you met anyone special? A new best friend or a partner in crime? Where do you like to go the most?" She stopped. She didn't want to overwhelm her. She'd let her answer, and then she could ask the questions.

Claire smiled a bit. "I have a lot of new friends, which helped me threw some situations." Some of the people that she thought of insistently were Bill, Tara, Alyssa, Louise and more. People that she thought as friends, even though she didn't really know them. She said looking up at Savannah. "I have, some, mentors now, people that are helping me become better at certain things." She meant people like Bose and Alice.

They had helped her extend a part of her to become better, even if she was still learning, and they barely knew each other. "I actually now have a boyfriend." She smiled a bit. Claire still had no idea how she, out of all people, had one. She thought that the whole thing was a bit rushed, but it felt nice to have him, even if they were still a bit shy and awkward.

Savannah was glad they could talk, and listened with enthusiasm. Claire had made lots of friends, and some mentors too! Claire was one of the only people Savannah could call a friend here, and she was her room mate. 'Wow! Sounds opposite of what I've been doing, you should introduce them to me sometime." She smiled despite the fact that she was a ball of anger sadness of stress. 'Yep, I'm just the friendless loser country gal who get under everyone's skin,' the though to herself angrily.

"I actually now have a boyfriend."

"What? No way, that's great for you! What's his name?" Savannah was surprised by the news, but not in the kind of way that would make you think that she believed that Claire wasn't worthy of a boyfriend, no just the opposite. 'That's another thing I'm missing out on.' She stopped to think of James, glancing over at her small dresser. Inside was an unopened letter from his dad, Mr. Sant. She'd been afraid to open it, but excited at the same time. She turned her attention back to Claire.

Claire smiled at her emtuisam. At least she was trying to be interested in what she was saying. The whole meeting thing, wasn't that easy. Yes, maybe she could introduce her of some of her friends, but not her mentors. She want their type. "They have different motives." She said simply, which was right, they weren't like other mentors.

Claire glanced up a bit at Savannah. She hoped that she want mad Orr anything because they weren't spending a lot of time together, she just wanted to do other things. She dedicated that from now on, she was going to hang out with her roommate more. Yes yes, her new boyfriend. Sean Wilson. That was a story in itself. "His name is Sean." Claire smiled a bit at the thought. She still didn't know if sane was happy or worried about that choice. Claire got a bit closer to her on her bed, excited to hear what she had to say about that.

Savannah thought about a lot of things for a second, then nodded at what Claire said about the people's motives. It was good to be spending time with Claire again, but she hoped she didn't feel guilty about them not talking often. She had a boyfriend, my my, what a nice development for her.' He'll come Savannah, he'll come, she promised herself. What if he doesn't?' she pushed the though out of her mind. The right guy would come along, but then what? How would the relationship go? She didn't want to rush it, or be to serious, but she didn't want it to go too slow, or them just consider each other, a "special friend."

"His name is Sean."

She looked back up at Claire, almost forgetting what they were talking about. "Ah, I see, how old is he? Sorry if you feel like I'm peppering you with questions, I can stop if you'd like." She swung her legs off the side of her bed, letting the circulation come back in. She stretched her arms as well, and settled back into her previous position, listening to what Claire was saying.

She nodded. How old was he? Claire had forgotten how old he had said he was, or had he even? She didn't even remember them talking about age, but she though. She finally, after a while of silence, remembered his age.

"He's fifteen." She smiled a bit. That was right, he was a year older then her, which she was fine with at the moment. 'At least he wasn't too much older.' She thought to herself. Claire wondered if Savannah had someone like that, a best friend or a boyfriend. She looked up a bit more and smiled at Savannah. "I don't mind you asking be questions." If it would have been someone else, then she would be hesitant. She needed this, to talk to someone. It felt nice.
