"Did I offend your delicate masculinity by calling you cute?" She teased lightheartedly, doing a poor job of hiding her taunting smile. "I'm sooooo sorry, Mally; of course, your bedhead is the sexiest of bedheads."

Maddie exaggerated an eye roll of epic proportions.

"I think I'm going to just keep calling you Mally now, and I'll make sure to do it in front of your roommates, too. Maybe I'll think up more embarrassing stuff, like, you're the prettiest boy I've ever seen."

Maddie began to giggle and dance from foot to foot. She was enjoying teasing him way too much.

She batted her eyes at him, all faux-innocent. "Then I you wouldn't be opposed to me making you even prettier? Or maybe letting me make you look like an alley cat? Hmmm?"
