He went back to his memory of bumping into Kaya and meeting her and going on an impromptu date. "Yeah, it was nice, some cool booths. Not much, just walked around and site saw, had an awesome burger. No, I went alone." He decided to leave out some details for now.
He'd yawn, "Can I go back to bed?"

She thought about his question, then shrugged and huffed. "Fiiine. I guess I can allow that."

He'd chuckle a soft laugh, with a bit of a sad hint to it. "Eh, Valentine's day alone doesn't sound like Valentine's day to me, it's practically traditional to me. It's alright Maddie, I didn't want to interrupt you plans, besides I had fun." He did have fun, he had a great time, the smile he'd give her was real and true.
He'd bow to her, "Oh thank you queen Maddie, I need all the beauty sleep I can get."
