Maddie threw a pebble at what she thought was Malvoes' window. She had tried something like five others, and they hadn't been right. Five times the charm, though. And she would think that during the sixth, seventh, and eighth windows too.

By the tenth window, she really was starting to doubt. She picked up another pebble and threw it against the glass.

"Ppppppst. Mal? Woohooo, is that you?" She threw a small handful at the window, wincing at the loud sound. Things always sounded louder in the middle of the night.

It was around five a.m., so it wasn't really night. Sometimes Maddie had trouble sleeping, during those times she would lay away, staring at her ceiling and thinking about everything and anything. Tonight, she had the best idea to sneak out. She actually didn't know whether that was against the rules here, since there was bound to be some nocturnal creatures and classes, but it felt illicit, and that was enough.

Mal would awake to the tapping of stones on his window, hoping to not wake kaize or maxwell he'd make his way over to it. He was semi dressed, he had pair of pajama pants on, he'd lean out of the window, "Hey who's there?"

He'd rub his eyes, "Maddie, what are you doing here? Do you know what time it is? Do you know what would have happened if my roommates had woke up instead?"

Maddie paled. Mal seemed like a grumpy riser. She grinned radiantly.

"No, because I don't know anything about them." Well, that was a logical answer to a probably rhetorical question.

"What would have happened?" She whispered, eyebrows coming closer together in curiosity. He made it sound like it was something terrible, but at worst they would have just gotten frustrated. Right? Like, she wouldn't be eaten or anything.... Right? R-Right...

"I'm sneaking out and enlisting you to come with me. It'll be a night of wild partying."

He'd roll his eyes, logic his mortal enemy, especially in the morning.

"I'm not sure but one has a sword and the other a gun and the latter seems to be a bit trigger happy." He said this in part to scare her but it was actually the honest truth, Maxwell seemed a bit unhinged.

He'd sigh heavily, sleep was his favorite part of the day, but he couldn't let her roam all by herself.

"Alright Maddie, I'll be down in a minute." He'd shut the window, getting dressed quietly.

"A gun? I didn't know we could bring weapons to the school too!"

She stepped closer to the window, trying to get a peek in. "I wanna meet them."

Being here, Maddie was already returning to her adventurous side. "Can I meet them?" she asked right before he closed the window.

"Grumpy Mal..." she giggled to herself.

If Maddie were to meet them, this is the way I'd want it to go loool

He'd close the shades so she couldn't see, he didn't want to risk waking Kaize and Maxwell up, and he didn't want her to see him changing. He'd slip out of the dorm as silently as he could, after putting on a his average wear.

He'd duck around to where Maddie would be, "The weapons are linked to their powers, you might meet them some day but not today, at five AM."

Maddie was waiting for Malvoes in the same spot, bouncing in place. She was holding one of her arms shyly, but her grin was anything but shy.

"You're grumpy in the morning," she giggled then skipped a little ways ahead of him.

"Maybe one day I'll come over and bring you a basket of muffins or something. Then they'll have to be my friend because who can turn down muffins?"

"Yes, yes I am." He'd trudge behind her, Malvoes, was not and has never been a morning person.

"I'm sure they'd love that honestly." They were friendly people, not sure how much he'd want Maddie to see their dorm room though.

"So what are we doing at this hour? I can only assume you're taking me to a dark alley or somewhere to murder me." This was a joke but he delivered it deadpan.

"Well I do have the strength of a walrus," Maddie answered without hesitation. She looked over her hands appreciatively.

"But no! I'm taking you to the best party spot in all of existence. Are you excited and awake now?"

She turned, walking backward. She had been practicing, but even still she was a huge klutz in her human form. Several times she almost fell over, but at least, she could manage to keep upright, even if it required some teetering.

He wasn't sure if she meant that about herself or if she'd turn into an actual walrus...probably best not to ask.

A jolt would go through him, "Party?" He'd follow her, parties were never his thing. He was often charismatic and witty but he was downright uncomfortable and almost frightened of parties.
