Cade watched as she floated around and land in front of him. Maybe having powers isn't so bad whey you get used to them. He chuckled then smiled back at her, realizing that she may have been about everything. He felt some drops of water hitting him. He wasn't bothered by this. "I think I can get used to this...."

Atalia grinned, and landed next to Cade, and sighed. It was a beautiful evening, and Atalia wondered what they could go next... She felt herself content for the evening however, forshe seemed to have gained a friend. It was a task of Atalia's to try and gain, and give her love to as many people as she can. The more you give, the more you recieve, after all. It was a simple satisfaction of hers.

"What's next in store for the two of us then? I think I've about swimmed myself to death!" She laughed, and started to float again. She mumbled something under her breath, and shook her head, landing. "I really need to stop doing that... I just get so excited!" She laughed, and pivoted in a circle on one foot.

Cade watched her as she plopped herself next to him. He smiled again. It was great night indeed. Cade didn't want to call it a night just yet. He was having fun, for once. If it wasn't for Atalia to bring him out of his slump, he'd be an emotional wreck. "What's next? I'm not tired. What do you want to do now, friend?" And he emphasized the word 'friend'.

Atalia thought for a moment, unsure of what to do next. She wasn't exactly tired, and she was where she loved to be. By the water. Atalia levitated, turned on her back, and floated above the water, in thought. Her eyes were closed, and she hummed a little tune.

Then it hit her! An idea lightbulb would have popped over her head if such things could happen. She rose from the lake, and zipped back to Cade. "We should go to the ballroom!" She spun around, as if she was a ballerina. "Do you like to dance Cade?"

Cade simply watched as she floated around...again. After learning a few things that she taught earlier, he wondered if he could do the same time. With one big flap of his wings, he ascended and tried to move his body parallel to the ground, but that didn't work. He fell hard on his back. "Ow..." When Atalia offered to go the ballroom, which he hasn't been in before, he thought 'what the hay'. It was worth a try. "I don't dance much. I can try though."

Atalia looked over at Cade about the same time he attempted to float like her... But only ended up on his face. Atalia giggled, and rushed over to him to help him up. "Whoopsie daisy..." She murmured under her giggle. She wondered if feathered wings would glide upside down... She figured they would, but maybe with a little work. Although that should be a lesson for another day. "A quick tip... You might want to learn the mechanics of bird's wings. They are very similar to yours." She winked, and gave him a friendly smile.

At Cade's submission to the ballroom idea, Atalia's smile widened, and almost went from ear to ear. She clapped, and let out a small 'hooray'. "Should we fly, or walk?" She didn't want to make Cade do anything he wasn't comfortable with yet, and he was just getting the hang of the basics. She would understand if he didn't want to fly.

Cade slowly got up from the freefall and rubbed his head. He wondered about her quick tip. Maybe he should do some research. "Right..." He then thought about how he wanted to leave for the ballroom, on foot, or...well...on wings. He chose foot. "I'd rather walk." he said with a smirk.

Atalia giggled, and nodded. "Understandable." Atalia lead the way, wandering down the twisted road back to campus. She spun around, still on her feet, and twisted her hair. She looked back at Cade, and smiled at him. He probably thought there was something mentally wrong with her. Perhaps there was. She just didn't care what people thought. She was happy going her own way, and making people smile.

"So... Hows family life for you? Did they send you here, or did you come on your own will?" The twins didn't really have a choice. Their parents didn't want them, so they were shipped off to Starlight. Thats the way it seemed to be for most kids around here. Either they weren't wanted, or misguided. It didn't really matter to Atalia... A place to stay, was a place to stay. As long as they allowed her to do as she pleased, she was fine with it.

Where Atalia would lead, Cade would follow in this case, and that he did. He followed the same twisted road back to the school and watched as she danced around the path. At her question, he stopped walking and raised an eyebrow. Family? Sure he had one, but to him it didn't seem like it. He resumed walking behind Atalia as he answered. "I was expelled from my old school, hence I got sent here."

Atalia kicked a few rocks here and there, and looked back at Cade. Expelled? That didn't sound very good. Though Ata had to admit, there were times where she was trying to get expelled from the preschools that her parents sent her and her sister to, to get them out of their hair.

"What'd you do to get expelled?" She wondered if it was a voluntary of involuntary thing. Atalia could probably guess what he got himself expelled for, but she thought she was would for the start of a conversation. Though it seemed to be rapidly turning into a question and answer session. "Hmph. Well, I'm tired of asking questions. Your turn." She grinned, and continued walking.
