It seemed that the girl was somewhat saddened by Cade's typical mood. Why was that...? Oh well. He mentally agreed that he would do what he wanted. In this case, he wanted to try to dance. In fact, Cade was never really any good. "Again...I'm...really...sorry..." He felt the nudge from Atalia. He playfully nudged back. "What was that for?" he asked jokingly. Just for fun, he nudged her again, smiling while doing so.

Cade nudged Atalia back, and then again! Ata laughed, and nudged him another time. She laughed a little, and she was so happy to see him smiling. He was smiling! "See! It's okay to be happy." She grinned, and wrapped her arms around herself defensively from his nudging. Though she doubted it would keep him from doing it again.
He really wanted to dance? Atalia nodded, and the ballroom seemed to be in sight. "We're almost there..." She said.
Atalia looked over at Cade, and admired his smile. It really was a nice smile, and he had no reason to hide it from everyone else. "You have a very lovely smile Cade, I like it."

Well, I guess it's okay after all... Cade thought. He shrugged at this thought and looked up to see that the ballroom was within view, all while still smiling. With that, he continued to walk.

He looked away from Atalia, not expecting to hear that. That comment caught him off guard as his face was now lovely shade of red. "Thanks..." He proceeded with Ata and without looking at her, he nudged her yet again, for fun.

She bumped him slightly with her hip, and raised an eyebrow, tempting him to defend himself. These were little games her and her sister would often do to simply cheer each other up. It was nice to be able to do the same with Cade.

Cade stumbled a bit when she bumped him with her hip. He felt the urge to nudge her again, but he decided against it this time. When she opened the door leading to the ballroom, he looked inside with an expression of awe. This was a sight he wasn't used to seeing, but would be willing to adapt. "Wow..."

Atalia beamed as they entered the ballroom together. Of course, it wasn't in its full magnitude, since there was currently no dances currently happening, but the structure was still there, the paintings on the walls, and great chandielier hanging from the ceiling. "Isn't it beautiful?!" She looked up at the great fixture and grinned. It was marvelous.

Cade walked inside and excitingly scanned his surroundings. The paintings, the chandelier, and the dance floor, this all intrigued Cade, though he was never able to experience something like this before. About dances, he had never been to one. Wasn't it beautiful? Of course it was. "It sure is...." he answered.
Atalia could hear their footsteps on the polished floors as she walked around. It was a lovely sight, indeed! Though where was the music...? Atalia began to flutter her wings, searching for some kind of technical booth. Aha! "What kind of music should I look for?" She called down from the booth.
Looking through old records, tapes, and cds. Jeez, they had everything! Just depended on what Cade felt like dancing to she guessed. They had rock, jazz, blues, techno, disco, classical, modern, everything!

What to listen to? Cade had no idea. He tapped his chin to think while slowly pacing around the dance floor. He looked up at all the pictures. He admired all of them. He couldn't think of anything specific. He looked up at Ata, not sure of what music to put on. "Put whatever! Doesn't matter to me!"
What would be the easiest to dance to? Atalia could remember her old life at home where her parents would have the disco channel on longer than Ata would have really liked, but she had become quite good at 'getting jiggy with it.' "How's disco sound? Or would you like something like classical?" Atalia flipped through the different selections, wondering if Cade was in the 'dance slow' mood, or the hip 'dance fast' mood.
Personally, she was in a bit of a disco mood... But that was just over active Atalia speaking, of course. She was up for anything, really.
