Daniel hesitantly matched her smile, sliding his book back into this Bag of Holding. He tried not to blush again, running a hand through his hair once more. He coughed, before nodding.

"Y-Yeah, that would probably be a pretty good idea. Did you have any preference for the...Skit we do? And will Jouka be participating?"

Daniel asked, adding the last bit on as an afterthought, knowing that Jouka was technically his own separate person. "Since we have Romance, we have a bit of an easier time since...Y'know. A lot of the really well known plays we've been going over have had at least some focus on the subject."

"No preference. And no Jouka isn't participating."

He was hammy enough on a regular basis. She didn't want to see how hammy he got as an actor. Besides, he would totally mess with her. Then again, he was a helpful one when he wanted to be so he could also recite her lines to her if she got stage fright somehow. They had a lot of options to go from here. Her hair seemed to slump a bit in response to her answer.

"I was looking at the ones we have available based off the list, but I just couldn't decide."

The girl passed on the list of notes for all the plays they went over in class. She then decided to ask a question based on what she noticed earlier.

"By the way, was that Jurassic Park you took out before? I never realized it was a novel, so I was rather interested when I noticed the title..."

Daniel nodded and started flipping through the notes, running through the scenarios in his head. That one could be done, that one might be fun...One thing he was noticing is that there was almost a 100% he and Mochi would have to kiss at some point during the skit. He wasn't sure how to feel about that. His heart was warm thinking about it, but...

He glanced up, Mochi's speech interrupting his thoughts. He smiled, always liking an excuse to talk about his favorite book. "Oh, yeah! It's one of my favorite books. It was a novel before it was a movie. They took a lot of stuff out in the movie too. I like the book a lot more..." He smiled and pulled his copy of the book out, handing it over.

Her hair stretched out and took the book. It flipped open the pages as Mochi began reading it. Since it wasn't hers nor was this the point of the meeting, she didn't have time to read through all of it. She merely skimmed some of it and examined the pages. She knew The Princess Bride was a novel that had a movie adaptation. Both were very good; it was actually one of her favorite, if not her favorite, books. Jurassic Park was a surprise for her. She wondered how much it differentiated from the movie.

"I'm really interested in reading it now that I know it exists..."

The futakuchi-onna shut the book and handed it over to Daniel. She assumed that he wanted it back.

"So what are you thinking?"

Daniel took the book and set it down on the table. He continued to glance through the plays and skits Mochi had written down.

"You can borrow it whenever you want. I don't mind!"

The libriomancer smiled, before setting the papers down, frowning softly.

"I'm not sure, all of these romance skits are pretty similar. Lots of the same themes, y'know."

"Really? Then can I take it with me after we conclude this meeting? I really want to read it!"

She was super curious about what was exclusively in the novel and how the dinosaurs and scenes were portrayed in the book as opposed to the movie. It got her brain spinning. What helped was that Daniel definitely seemed to love it. After all, he stated it was one of his favorite books! While she was unsure what play to pick, she did know what one of her favorite books was.

"One of my favorite books is The Princess Bride. It was a great book and a great movie. It seems so rare to find a book-to-movie adaptation that's actually good."

Mochi enjoyed Daniel's company. Even if they didn't get much done, she at least acquired a new friend by the end of this.

The boy grinned, nodding again. "Of course! I don't mind one bit. We'll be seeing eachother a lot for this project, so you can borrow...Pretty much any of my books."

He laughed, before his eyes lit up. Princess Bride? He loved that book! "I know right? The quality is astounding. They left a few things out, but those weren't super important. I'm going to have to watch it again."

He was smiling a lot wider now, the blush completely gone. He was really enjoying the conversation! Mochi was turning out to be a really nice person. He'd definitely have to keep talking to her after the project was over.

Mochi was about to open her mouth to discuss more Princess Bride until she realized something. Wait...couldn't they do a skit on that?! How could she have been so silly?! She loved Princess Bride! She let out a cute squeal as she proposed the idea.

"Hey! You think we could get away with a skit of a scene from The Princess Bride? I don't know which one, but that could work!"

Her brown eyes sparkled with delight. This was going to be fun! ...It was also going to be a bit awkward since she would also be learning more about him in the process. To think that they would have to be romantic with one another....it was going to be a bit bizarre but fun. As she was getting excited, the hair grumbled as it crossed its "arms".

"You should let me narrate..."

"Jouka..."

Daniel's blush returned when he registered Mochi's squeal. That was quite possibly the cutest thing he had ever heard. Though, he did grin widely when she suggested The Princess Bride as a source material.

"That...Is an amazing idea! I think we could, after all it does have plenty of scenes that fit our theme, and it is literature..."

He smiled, still blushing as he met her gaze, her sparkling brown eyes entrancing. It was unlike anything he had seen before. Jouka spoke, followed by Mochis exasperated sigh. Daniel paid them no mind, still distracted by the smile on her face.

"That...And you do fit the standard for Buttercups beauty. Though you probably surpass it." He complimented, his brain taking control of his mouth without permission.

He froze up after that. Why did he say that? Jouka is going to kill him. Hopefully he could write his will before he was torn to shreds.

Mochi was thrilled to hear that Daniel was willing to go along with this. She was smiling joyfully. This would be great! She became self-conscious about her acting skills though. It had been years since she done anything remotely like it. She hadn't even been apart of any school productions. Of course it wouldn't matter too much when it came to the overall grade, but she wanted to do her favorite novel justice. That was when he unexpectedly complimented her looks. His words shut up her doubts immediately. Her cheeks turned bright red.

"Pretty flirtatious for someone that won't ask her out!"

Manly laughter filled the room again as Mochi tried to come up with the proper words for the situation. She struggled to even open her mouth for a moment. He was flattering her too much!

"T.....T-Thank you...."

Should she flirt back? What should she do in such a situation?! Jouka eventually stopped laughing, but there was a smirk left on the back of the futakuchi-onna's head.

"You need more commitment, kid. 'Course I thought this was a meeting, not a first date!"

The red-faced girl yanked her hair. Why didn't she have duct tape?
