Daniel hurried along with Mochi as they sped across campus. It was a strangely spacious locale, Daniel mused. Though, almost everywhere seems bigger when you're in a hurry. His blush faded as they ran, idly chatting as they did so. They were lucky enough to make it to the bus just before it left, even luckier to get a pair of seats together.

That being said, it was easy to get seats together when nobody else was on the bus. It was strangely empty. The only other occupant was an older woman, easily in her seventies. She was sitting in the seat opposite Mochi and Daniel, and smiled to them as they sat down.

Daniel smiled back, giving her a light wave and allowing Mochi to take the window seat. "We made it, now we won't have to wait for forty minutes." He said cheerfully, taking his seat.

Mochi rushed for the bus. They chatted about various subjects while they were moving to make the bus. It was simple idle conversation to pass the time, so it wasn't really worth quoting. The partners arrived at the station and entered onto an oddly empty bus. This didn't seem right; she would have thought more people would be riding at this time. The girl sat down in the window seat once they got on. She smiled and waved at the old woman sitting there. She knew very well to respect one's elders.

"It's good that we made it. Hopefully that restaurant won't be too packed..."

Jouka waved at the old woman as well. Thanks to it being Manta Carlos, sentient hair wasn't a reason for someone to run away screaming. Many abnormal occurrences happened daily. The futakuchi-onna sat properly in her seat with her legs crossed as she glanced out the window. This was yet another unexpected event.

Daniel smiled, nodding to Mochi's question as the bus lurched forward, starting on its journey. He himself sat how he normally did, slightly hunched over, his hands in his lap.

"I agree. We're a little early for dinner, so we should have a higher chance of getting a table...Which is lucky, I guess." He mused, after thinking for a few seconds.

The bus pulled to a stop in front of a retirement home, the elderly woman standing up and waving goodbye to Mochi and Daniel.

"Have a good time on your date dearies." She said, having overhead the conversation. She hobbled off the bus, shaking her head with a smile. "Couples are getting married younger and younger each year..." She said to herself, though loud enough for Daniel and Mochi to hear.

Upon hearing that, Daniel turned bright red. He sputtered for a few seconds, trying to form words.
