Jouka's push was enough to get Daniel going. While he was being protective of Mochi, he was also steadily pushing her out of her shell. He also knew she felt somewhat heartbroken after Sebastian's rejection AND was liking this fairly nice but somewhat awkward guy. In a way, he was kind of playing matchmaker. If it failed, he would rip the guy to shreds. Mochi stared at the table. The redness just wouldn't go away. That was when he asked a question she thought that he wouldn't ask at all.

He asked her out for dinner.

Her eyes sparkled again as she immediately looked back up at him with a mixture of hope and disbelief. He was willing to date her? She had a guy that was interested in her? How did dates even work?! It's not like that pizza time was a date, so this would be her first legit date! The youkai could fly right about now.

"Yes, I'd love to!"

The happiness that radiated from her was immense. She was excited to get to talk to him more! This friendly relationship was starting off with a bang; it was filled with awkward sweetness. Jouka chuckled a bit as he thought "Atta boy". He could practically taste Momo's joy.

While she was still in the real world, her mind was thinking all kinds of happy thoughts. Her hair began to pack up all of her stuff as she kept her eyes on him.

"Y-Yeah, we should probably leave now."

Mochi was still rather flustered but excited. They were going out for dinner! That was when he asked the question of where they should go. She was unsure of what place she wanted. She didn't want to go out for pizza again. Perhaps Italian food? ....no, not Italian food again. Hm...

"What are you in the mood for Jouka?"

"STEAK!"

Jouka was always good for deciding food. She was prepared to pay for the food; after all, steak was expensive. Of course she had no way of knowing how wealthy Daniel was. She smiled shyly.

"Is steak fine?"

Mochi laughed. Daniel was so cute with how shy he was! Of course she wasn't much better; her temporary hermit lifestyle made her somewhat socially awkward as well. Regardless of her being a celebrity of sorts, it didn't matter if she spent a good amount of her teen years steadily avoiding people. Jouka was both amused and pleased by this set of events. She jumped up once she was ready and moved next to him.

"Can't exactly walk off her head whenever I please!"

Her hand gently touched his shoulder.

"Just relax. Jouka's just yapping his mouth off."

She gave him a comforting shoulder rub. Her soft hands were rather suitable for the task. The second mouth snickered. The young lady's brown eyes stared softly at Danny.

"You ready?"

She grabbed his arm gently. Wow, Danny was quite the gentleman! A rather shy gentleman, but a gentleman nonetheless. Jouka was amused by this turn of events. Daniel didn't seem like a bad guy, but he had to keep an eye on him just in case. Mochi had to think about where to go. She could ask about going to the Steak Buddies' usual steakhouse. Just as she was about to decide on that, Jouka interjected in her mind and noted that they should go somewhere considerably more romantic for a dinner date. So she kept thinking until she remembered a place.

"There's a rather nice French restaurant we could go to. I believe it's located on that street with all the cafes."

The hair snickered to himself. The girl raised an eyebrow but shrugged it off.

Mochi nodded in confirmation. Good, he knew exactly where they had to go. She held onto his arm as she sped for the door in an orderly fashion. Thankfully the futakuchi-onna was athletic, so it was no issue for her to get somewhere fast. She was a runner after all.

"Then let's go!"

Admittingly she wasn't sure about the shop's location, so she would let Daniel lead the way. Why was this campus so ludicrously large? Jouka had no commentary on the situation for now, but he snickered at the young man's blushing. He had his own set of plans for the evening.
