Nicholas had taken a drink, non-alcoholic, and watched. Though he labeled Halloween as stupid some costumes admittedly looked pretty decent. Heck, with some he couldn't even tell if they were costumes or not which was probably a positiv thing. Still he felt uncomfortable. Not knowing what was lurking under the disguises freaked him out. But he couldn't think about it for long as something touched him. As he looked down an ounce of nausea overcam him.
On the ground was a silver, slimy mass that had just talked to him. He had never seen something like this but the sight of humansized slime disgusted him. Of course he couldn't show that.

“Hello.” He replied politely, smiling at the gooey substance. What he was smiling at he wasn't sure. He was pretty sure it had spoken to him, but that didn't mean it was actually a living being. It could just be a toy. Something without a consciousness. Or … Could that possibly be a student? He found that thought revolting.
“It's a nice party, don't you think?” Maybe small talk could help him to determine what he was facing.

The word party meant a lot of things to Jericho. It meant a chance for a good time, to cut back, to lay loose. But because of his increasing commitment to school, he had taught himself to prioritize and be a good student. He had to be an adult about things and refuse what would hinder his education.

Now, put the word 'Halloween' in front of the word party... And that would become an entirely different story.

Safe to say, Jericho was there faster than rumor had fully spilled out. Now, he hadn't had the chance to properly gather a good costume. Luckily for him, he had a few good connections that could throw something together really quick. And of course, he decided to have a little fun with it. The wings behind him were seemingly dusted with a shit ton of flour to make them white instead of dark grey. Not only that, but the only true article of clothing he was wearing was a pair of metallic gold booty shorts that left little to the imagination. Said booty shorts were held up by suspenders, matched with sneakers and a bow tie. Fake rhinestones were glued onto his chest, bedazzled to spell out 'VICTOR'S SECRET'. Original? Not really. Did it work? Definitely.

Having no shame whatsoever, he approached a table where kid unfriendly drinks were being served. Moments later he found himself with a plastic red cup. He had no intentions of getting drunk. He just wanted to have a good time. He walked out into the open, as if to look for someone to talk to. He loved to mingle, and hoped others would too.

To say Polly was an easily excitable individual would be a definite understatement. Halloween truly brought that out for her more than ever. After all, this was the very first time she felt comfortable being herself. Which was to say this was her very first ever.

She had worked for ages to complete her frilly pink princess dress. Mainly because she had to alter it to suit her bat form. Her gloved paws held a plastic hollow pumpkin close to her. Her tail wagged, sending a bow with a bell jingling with each sway. Between her twitching ears was a crown, which gave her enough of a confidence boost to where she was confident to be on her own. Over her shoulder, she could see her boyfriend had arrived. Her robot knight in shining armor.

"Tellios!" She cried out, skipping over to him to softly kiss his face. "You made it! You really look great!"

Lexi smiled as someone came up to her to start a conversation. Looking at the person who had a cracker and she giggled a bit. Crackers were always good.

"Hiya. I'm Lexi.. What about you?" She said. Her dress was next to perfect besides one of the straps constantly falling off her arm that she had to readjust every so often when she was moving around. She put a hand out to the stranger. Trying to at least make it semi friendly.

"It's a big party now right..? Seems like lots of people have come! hehehe~!" She giggled lightly. Enjoying the party now that more and more people were here.

Tellios;

Polly's excitement passed over to Tellios was a slow venture. He made the armor and shield, but kept the sword from a halloween shop so it wouldn't be sharp. He looked at his internal clock. With a short sigh he was debating on heading back to the dorm...

Until he heard someone call out his name. It was a familiar voice that cold always melt his heart. That he could spot from countries away. Someone dear to him. Someone.. He wanted to protect with all his being.

"Pollyanna!" He said. watching her skip over to him in her frilly dress as he gave her a once over and placed his hands on her hips. Picking her up for a moment to spin her around as he chuckled lightly. "Thanks.. You look pretty as a princess! My bat."

he said. Eventually putting her down as he took off his helmet to tie it to his side. Kissing her forehead for a moment. Then looking around. "Well.. You did a great job making that. I am glad we came out to this."

Marina Bellamy

"Morgan, darling! Oh, arranging parties is never enjoyable. When stuff goes wrong, people look first at the hosts. What about you? Love your costume, darling. School Spirit, am I right?" Marina waved at Morgan and Magmos, a flirtatious chuckle escaping her lips at Magmos' compliment. "Oh, Magmos, the party is plenty hot already. But if you're looking for more, there's a spectacular light show at the end. I'm sure even you would be dazzled."

Her perfect conversation was suddenly interrupted when one of her cheerleaders ran up to her and told her some security guy was looking for her. Ugh. What now?

"Sweetie, just point the man in my direction. I have no intentions of coming to him."

She waved her off. Hopefully, she'd send the guy to her soon.

Even if who the real queen is was up in the air, there was no question in terms of the king. Clarence's outfit wasn't at all cheesy, it was a mix of modern and traditional royal clothes (that he'd already owned but didn't often get to show off), as well as a genuine crown that had been a part of the Crowther family artifacts for generations. The crown had some magical perks, as well- general protections, charms to make sure everything stayed clean, and to take heaviness away and keep it nicely on his head. He looked sleek, powerful, and he already knew the actions and poise to go with his costume.

Clarence had, while people were arriving, been making some final rounds to make sure it all looked good and properly prepared, adjusting things to his very refined tastes, talking to workers. His standards were high, especially when not being the only person setting something up. Double check everything. Watch out for any suspicious movement. Absolutely grab and eat a sugar cookie while you pass the food tables.

He slinked back up to Marina and Morgan after a while, listening to the conversation, raising his brows. "Oh, my! You two really did this all by yourselves? How impressive, yes," He said in a sing-song voice. "And a spectacular light show, wow. Really sounds like something."

He looked back at the cheerleader who'd come up just before he officially had, humming, mind temporarily taken off his slight annoyance (well, not really that annoyed, just warning). "Ah, wonderful. I'm sure that'll be good news." He'd stay around to see whatever had gone wrong and how to deal with it- although, if it was Morgan and Marina's party now, perhaps they didn't need any of his help. He chuckled a bit at the thought.

Sasha smiled softly.

Florentin was adorable, and nobody here deserved him. Even Sasha was lucky, he always reminded himself, to be with him like this.

Here, at the moment, was a big outdoor halloween bash, and Sasha was high strung as all hell. Halloween was… an uncomfortable time, because it was sometimes hard to differentiate imaginary, play danger from genuine threats- as well as the nasty shit that dressed up to disguise what was really going on.

But Florentin loved it, and Sasha loved him more than anything in the world, so that all couldn't be helped. The harbinger just needed to be beside him, doing his job. Which he was coincidentally dressed up as.

He was very in character.

But really, he'd made it silly by wearing a generic black suit, sunglasses (that were pushed up on his head, since he didn't want his vision messed with), and a fake earpiece. The holster and guns under his jacket were very real, however.

He'd put little horn hairclips on at the last minute, as well, so he fit with Flor's look. Mr. President of the Underworld, and personal security.

Sasha, as usual, had to use a lot of self control to not give little longing sighs in Flor's direction every other few seconds. He was a professional, he could keep it to himself. For now. It was getting harder now that his parent's eyes weren't on them all the time, but he needed to put his work first- not the constant desire to touch Florentin. Christ.

Sasha trailed closely behind his master, quiet, always ready to protect, keeping a sharp eye out for sudden movement and especially suspicious feeling things.

There wasn't much of an answer to Gabriel's question at first. Perhaps people were still marveling at the spider toss? Hard to say. Thankfully after a few moments someone thankfully came over from nearby to speak over to

"Oh. Shes over near the VIP tent. Is..Is she, like, in trouble or something?" the girl inquired. It didn't take a genius to figure out that the young girl seemed genuinely worried.

"Nah. I just need to speak with some of the organizers and her name was the one I got. I'm here for security. Nothing to worry about." Gabriel explained. Yes, there was obviously the immanent threat of the spider infestation, but that wasn't something Gabriel was going to readily admit out in the open.

"Oh...Okay. That's good. Over that way." the young girl said, pointing over to another, smaller tent with a number of well-costumed individuals standing under it.

"Thanks. Appreciate the help." Gabriel responded politely. Eyeing the woman that had been identified, Gabriel quietly moved through the crowd toward the tent, noting its occupants.

They certainly had some quite regal costumes: one of the individuals had a kingly uniform that seemed to actually be quite stylish and not even the slightest bit pompus. That took some work, Gabriel had to commend the man for that. Another woman nearby the bee-dressed woman was dressed in what appeared to be blue garbs that, if the security officer recognized correctly, was summoners garb. A good indication that these individuals were of some status among their peers in some way, which made sense considering Marina was apparently the vice-president of the student council. That gave Gabriel at least an idea of how to approach the situation.

Nearing the tent, he was quiet right up until he was only a couple feet away from the trio with the bee woman in it. The woman in blue had some kind of "guardian spirit" as well. Gabriel wasn't an expert, so he didn't exactly know what to call it.

"Excuse me..." The security officer began politely. "Gabriel Graves. I'm with campus security. I'm here responding a couple of calls about-".

It was at that point Gabriel heard a spark and a loud pop.. That sounded bad. quickly sliding around the trio of individuals, Gabriel quickly found the source of the noise: A large spider that was identical to the one Gabriel had dealt with earlier had crawled into the punch bowl in the VIP area. It then had shorted out and exploded, leaving a chemically and disgusting mess in the punch bowl it had crawled into.

So it was a robot. Okay, that complicated things quite a lot actually. So much for the pesticide he left back at his bike.

"...A couple of calls about a rampant spider outbreak at this event. Which turn out to actually be robots from the look of it." Gabriel finished, glancing over the now ruined punch. Looking back over at the trio he had tried to introduce himself to before the arachnid had tossed itself into the punch bowl.

"You heard anything so far?"

Claudia casually and confidently walked into the party. Usually parties weren't her thing, but Halloween was her favorite holiday and she couldn't pass up an opportunity for a good prank. She wore a white camisole and a black, pleated miniskirt. Decorating her head was a white Victorian rose corsage. Normally, she would wear something a little more formal, but today she didn't feel like it. Her father would definitely not approve. She had always been taught to dress as if she had royalty in her blood, to make others think that she was born into a monarchy. For once, she wanted to look like herself and not how her parents wanted her to look. She walked over to cooler and peeked inside. There was juice, soda, and..... beer? She decided that her first week at school was not the time to be getting into serious trouble. She grabbed a soda and walked away. She saw other people dancing, but she wasn't the type of person to dance. She found an empty space on a wall and leaned, observing the party around her.

Kiyana smiled happily as she heard the girl take her compliment. "Why thank you!" She said as she curtsies for her, grabbing the ends of her dress. "It's an honor, to be complimented on such a plain outfit." She said with a short giggle. "Oh, I love that name! Mine's Kiyana, nice to meet you." Looking at her drink her punch, she giggled at her new red upper lip. "I have to agree!"

Claire waited patiently until the girl answered her question. "Oh really? So it is that you can manipulate ice or water?" She asked in excitement. "I can manipulate water actually." Claire said confidently, not knowing why she was being so up beat. Maybe she liked the idea of knowing someone who had a similar power. "Your own little twist yeah? I can see that. It makes it look so cool." She nods, looking back at Attel. "Yes it suits you well, human." He nods to the girl as turns his gaze over to her. "For me, I'm dressed as San from Princess Mononoke. It's a movie, one of the first ones I saw when I got here." Claire smiled brightly. As she continued, she pointed back to Attel with her left hand. "Attel here is dress up as Moro, A huge wolf with two tails. He has everything but the two tails down though."

Cheeto slipped into the party, looking around nervously. Even after all this time she was amazingly bad at this, at parties. Dorito had dragged her there, even though neither of them really looked at Halloween the same way. They'd dressed up for it, and Cheeto had read on it at great length, but this was more Dorito's thing. Dorito had found herself a small nun's costume, complete with a little rosary, where Cheeto had got a tight-fitting Green Lantern costume, based on that of Simon Baz. Cheeto was always tugging nervously at her costume, as it fit her form incredibly tightly and showed off curves she didn't even knew she had, whereas Dorito's costume hid much and swished with every step she made.

The two had entered in quietly, and sought to mingle as casually as possible. Cheeto was trying her best to keep her cool while Dorito had immediately set out looking for someone to try and hit on. Cheeto's costume continued to cling to her, making her tug at it self-consciously as she moved towards the nearest bowl of chips. Dorito, on the other hand, looked for a source of booze. Where there's alcohol, there's usually a hot guy willing to get a girl a drink!
