A knock on the door caused Miya to stir. She lifted her head up and stared at the door through he messy hair. It wasn't until the second set of knocking did she climb out of the bed and walk to the door. Opening it slightly she sees Sherry standing there with one of the normal Academy nurses behind her.

"Yo just checking up on you. No fire so you guys slept well it seems. Don't worry about the room when you guys are done I'll take care of it. Just come to the reception when you two are fully awake. Okay? Okay."

Miya barely caught any of that and simply nodded. Closing the door she walked back over to her bed and looked over at Addy through her hair. She shook her hair to get a better view of the room but he hair was such a mess. And she didn't exactly have a brush in her bag. Oh joy.

"Hey. You up?"

Adelene was on a chair right beside the bed, still asleep, with her arms folded on top of the adjacent table as a makeshift pillow for her head. She didn't get much sleep last night, mostly because she already dozed off while she and Miya were watching anime but also because she really watched over her to make sure she was okay.

She moved slightly at the sound of voices filling the room, but she only really woke up when Miya sounded closer and Addy heard her words clearer. She yawned and buried her face one last time before pushing herself away from the table to stretch.

Her neck was slightly hurting though.

"Hnn... Yeah I'm awake," she smiled sleepily. "Good morning, how are you feeling?"

"Fine for the moment. My head feels heavy as hell though."

Miya slowly went back to her bed and sat down on the edge. She began to play with her hair by trying to straighten it out as much as she could. It was....A mess. She managed to get it enough to where her bangs weren't so bad, but the rest of her hair was a complete mess, all frizzled out and like she had just got shocked.

"Be thankful you never have to deal with this crap with such short hair. I'm already going to end up spending at least three hours getting my hair back to normal. What I get for not carrying around a brush I suppose. Anyway, you sleep well? Given you never left the chair it seems. Doesn't your back hurt?"

Miya felt bad that Addy had slept all night the way she did. She'd have to make up for it some how, though she didn't know yet. Maybe breakfast? She'd have to find a good place to cook...Hmm....

"My neck hurts a bit, but no worries. I got just enough rest." Addy shrugged, offering a small chuckle. She didn't have to worry about her neck, she'll be fine after some stretching later. She stood up, tilting her head to the sides in attempt to make cracking sounds in her joints. Relief came as they did. After that, Adelene went to her bag and dug through it, eventually handing over a hairbrush towards Miya.

"Good thing I have mine then," she said, smiling gently. But as if she realized something, she quickly took the brush back before Miya could even get it. "Do you want me to help you instead? It might be easier if someone else fixes your hair at this state, don't you think?" She giggled a little.

Addy then went beside Miya and began brushing the tips first. She's never had long hair, as far as she could remember at least, but she didn't seem to struggle while brushing the tangled areas and straightening them again. She was focused on Miya's hair mostly, and didn't look away from it even when she spoke. "My back will get better later, so don't worry about it, okay? I've experienced more extreme cases before, see."

"Well that's g-good."

Miya was a bit taken back at first. She didn't like people touching her hair in any amount. Still she relaxed and smiled herself as Addy started brushing her hair. Well...This would be alright for the moment. She had no particular reason to tell her no outside of just not liking her hair touched.

"Aww thank you. Yeah I guess without my mirror back in my room this would take forever. I'll take your word too. No one knows their limits better than themselves. Which the stupid instructors would understand that when they try to help me learn to control my flames more."

Her body finally began to relax as she watched through her bangs. Was this something other girls did with their girl friends? She didn't know, very few girls had hair this long and Miya didn't exactly stay over at many places without hours of prep work and that took out the fun of everything.

"Sooo...Got any plans for today? If not wanna hang out for a bit this morning? I do owe you a nice breakfast after all."

"Mm," Addy nodded, giggling at Miya's comment about instructors. While the girl had a point, Addy was never one to question an instructor's decision, unless it becomes really illogical and unjust. As for that, well, "I think they just want students to push themselves beyond their current potential. Without that, how can we improve?" she mused.

It took a long while, but she was able to untangle the lower half of Miya's hair already. And she continued upwards, until they were all smooth again, and only after thirty minutes.

"Done!" she announced cheerfully as she backed away and kept her brush in her bag. "Plans? Well... Not really. But I really want to take a shower right now. I guess I was just planning to go home." But she couldn't exactly say no to Miya either, since she did promise the previous night that they were going to hang out, if ever Miya's already feeling better. And she was.

"Well..." She grinned. "We could grab some breakfast. Or, if you don't mind, how about we just cook something at my place? But are you sure you're okay now?"
