"Oh a little over a week?" She asked the girl, even though she already had the answer. It felt a bit weird to know that not everyone had been here as long as her, but than again, she was also the same as her when she had first joined. She was the newbie of the island, not knowing anyone or anything. "A weird day? That does sound pretty crazy! Are you okay though? Now I mean." She didn't want to pry, nor was it that important as this island was already so weird and confusing, for anyone.

"Yeah, I'm fine now. Then again, that time wasn't as threatening as the forest incident, but I got saved and made a new friend from it."

How could she forget that demonic bear? And she definitely couldn't forget about Sebastian. They hadn't really talked since that day, but she did have his number. After all, it had only been like one day since she got her butt saved by the handsome werewolf. The girl had him on the brain, but she was trying not to obsess over him too much. It would make her go from simple crush territory to stalker land. She didn't want to get to stalker land; that wasn't her.

"Now I've made a lovely new friend named Flayace!"

The girl beamed as Jouka finished eating up her food. Despite the fact that the food sucked, it did allow her to meet someone. Flayace was a really lovely lady. She hoped that they could hang out more.

"Do you live in the dorms?"

She was a bit curious as to who this person was, but then again she wasn't going to pry on something that she really didn't need to know. The girl had already shared enough about that time in her life, even if it had only been a few weeks or days ago. "I see." She blandly said, happy when the girl changed the subject. Smiling as the girl mentioned them being friends, her entire body felt warm and happy. Friends was a word that she cherished. "And I've met a lovely new girl and her hair. Does that count as two new friends?" She giggled a bit, unsure if the mass of hair even liked her. "Oh yes I live in the dorms, but maybe in the future I will move in with my boyfriend. Maybe when we finally get jobs." Giggling again, she stared at the girl with a smile. "And you?"

Tavish's day finished faster than he'd have liked. He had arrived in the island at dawn, had settled into a comfortable dorm room (empty save for himself) less than an hour later, had wandered around the school twice by himself by nine a.m.. He had moved on to strolling through town afterwards, eating lunch in an elegant steakhouse. By dusk, he'd already loitered around most of the island.

He was just making his way back to the school when he saw the lights for the new Italian restaurant he had seen this afternoon finally lit up and the doors already open for business. He strapped his longboard to his bag (one custom-made to carry boards) then made his way inside the establishment.

The sight that greeted him was a strange one. By the window sat two girls, one with... Tavish had to blink and squint. 'Weird, alive... hair. With a mind of its own. That's gotta be a hassle. Does she even get a 'bad hair day'?' was all he could really think about the other one. He figured he'd have to get used to seeing strange things like this soon. This island was supposed to be a home to people like that, people like him, after all. He couldn't imagine the chaos if something as bad as a war suddenly rose from the citizens of the island.

As he made his way to the buffet, he eyed a beautiful, ice-blue entity slowly fade behind a woman as she spoke with a man. 'Maybe it left to give the two some space,' Tavish thought as he looked away. He decided that this getting used-to might take a while longer than he expects.

Halfway towards the buffet table and he was already hearing about how horrible the food here was from the crowd. So heeding the majority of what he was hearing about the Italian cuisine, he took only a handful of bread sticks and pizza. He wasn't too hungry anyway. 'And how could anyone mess up bread sticks?' He'd just come here to rest... and get a drink maybe.

Tavish turned from the buffet table to look for some place to sit. The place was pretty crowded despite the horrible, but free, food. He sighed. On one table, a couple looked like they were ready to leave.

"Yeah, you can count us as two."

Jouka finished with the food at this point and was more or less content. Now Mochi was no longer hungry, so he had done his job. He chuckled a bit at the thought of them as two new friends. It was a friendly laugh. He found this girl pretty alright. The futakuchi-onna was happy to have made another acquaintance with someone.

"Ah, well I have a dorm room to myself. I have one of the bigger ones, but I didn't get assigned a roommate. I've been looking for one..."

She wanted to have a friend that she could room with and perhaps have some fun times together. She needed some justification for all the space she had anyway. Mochi went for something modest rather than extravagant like her dad would do. Her father....nope, didn't want to think about him.

Happy that they both took her comment well, she was happy that she had met two, extraordinary people in her short visit to the buffet. Looking at the girl, it was hard to not look into there eyes. Maybe it was because she knew that the girl was looking into hers, and she would feel rude to break away to look at something less important.

"An entire dorm?" It was impressive, as even though she was alone too in her dorm, hers was one of the smaller ones, and it was always stuffy in there. "I-I could be your roommate!" Flayace almost shouted, granting her a few strange looks from people around them. "I mean my dorm isn't all that good anyways, and I think you're pretty cool too." She smiled, hoping that she didn't sound desperate

Mochi was somewhat shocked by Flayace's sudden enthusiastic response. She was really hoping for a roommate! Well, that was definitely a good thing. Now she could share the space and not feel so weird. While she was used to having tons of space, she found it preferable to have less of it. It was less of a waste that way. She was moving away from her rich lifestyle for something more casual. The youkai beamed.

"Then let's be roommates! We can get the arrangements settled and I can help you move into the room. I'm of course more than open to let you see it before you move it, but it's in really good condition and I'm a pretty cleanly person. Just try not to mind Jouka's snacking too much."

"I can't help it if your body's hungry! Besides, I like beef jerky."

"I can tell..."

This was the first time the hair chimed in for a while. It was because he was busy eating. When he ate, he had the tendency to mostly shut up until he was satisfied. He seemed pretty okay with having the girl move in with them. Mochi needed ore friends anyway; this would get her out of her shell.

"I appreciate that you think I'm cool though. I think you're wonderful!"

She just couldn't stop staring at those colorful eyes of hers.

Giving the girl a finishing nod, she waited patiently as the girl gave her the details of what she thought was best. They would be roommates? Flayace was ecstatic! Being able to have someone to share her space with, as well as making a new friend sounded a lot funner than other things. Nodding lightly to everything that the girl said about their arrangements, it all seemed so perfect to her. "Oh that won't bother me." She smiled to brightly at the girl, mostly directing that comment at the hair.

"Thank you so much! For this opportunity." She added on, wanting to just get up and hug the girl and soon her around, but she knew that she didn't have the arm strength to do such a thing. "Oh no, what if I just bring get stuff over and see it then? No need to make it two different occasions." She nodded to the girl, seeing that she was staring at you. "Do you like my eyes?" She giggled softly. "I guess that pink is an odd color."
