LuxTV is a Premium Cable Channel on Manta Carlos TV hoping to bring quality content to every home in Manta Carlos! Ever since the channel went up five years ago, it's been a staple on every household in Manta Carlos. It's not good TV if it's not LuxTV.
It is now accepting pitches, board members, sponsors, and actors!
What are pitches?
Pitches are ideas for TV shows you want to see on LuxTV. Do you have to have a character working on the station to submit a pitch? Hell no! If you get a silly TV show idea you want to go for, put it here for funsies, and people might even want to sign up for it.
Nothing too overtly silly, please. I won't deny anything other than obvious trolls. Check the timeslots for what the station is looking for!

What are board members and sponsors?
Board members and sponsors are aaall the fancy corporate people that keep the company going. LuxTV is purely private and will not be owned by the Manta Carlos government any time soon!
Board members run the show. They choose which shows get aired and may even have a say in casting. They have a lot of power and they get paid well. This includes executives, producers, and even directors.
Sponsors keep the channel alive. They fund the shows and the company, and in return, they get a share of the profit from merchandise and may use the show for ads and actors to promote products. Sponsors do not own LuxTV. They merely profit from its success. Signing your character as a sponsor would mean extra cash for any rich people running around. I'm only accepting a maximum of 10 sponsors.

What are actors?
You know what actors are! Action heroes, love interests, sidekicks, villains, hackers on TV are all played by actors! Actors are the lifeblood of every good show on the planet, and LuxTV is definitely looking to hire some.
Does my character have to be an actor on their profile? No, no, not at all! If you have a particularly dazzling character and you want to put them on a bright acting career, putting them on TV is the way to go. Actors may be of any ethnicity, age, gender or sexuality. LuxTV is known for its good diversity and fair treatment of employees. But be careful: little starlets that have bad PR get the boot.
Note: They won't get fired without OOC permission, but having your character act like a primadonna would definitely be fun, wouldn't it?

What if I want other jobs here?
Go for it! If you want your character to do lighting part-time, hair and make-up, do writing, handle cameras, intern or whatever your heart desires, comment here to put them on the official business thread.

- 7:00am - 8:00am: Open. G. Something light and suitable for mornings. Cartoons or family comedies.
- 8:30am - 9:00am: Around the Realm with Wilfred. G. A dog accidentally eats a bag of magic beans and gains the ability to speak. Not only that, but the dog is multilingual. He uses his newfound powers to teach children about various cultures. (credit to @Sashi)

- 10:30am - 11:00am: Open. TV show, nothing too heavy.

- 12:00pm - 1:00pm: Cop Out. PG13. Aiden Cole, a mediocre police officer, is nearly killed on the job and awakens from his coma with the odd ability to understand he is in a TV show. Thanks to knowing the tropes and format of the show he is able to solve seemingly impossible cases. This comedy features a lot of fourth wall jokes. (credit to @Foxy)
