Love Cruise: Students

"W-well... when you stood up so suddenly, I thought I might have done something to upset you." Still red, she diverted her eyes somewhere else, didn't really matter where.

"Do you... really... love me?" She didn't really know why it was so hard to say it to him, but once she did, she looked to him, a smile on her face.

She was blushing. She definitely knew. Oh the shame. "um, I froze time, and forgot that you wouldn't be affected." He said a bit awkwardly.

He took a deep breath, eyes closed. It was easier to say when he thought she wasn't listening. Now it felt like his heart grew a leg and was kicking him with it. He opened his eyes to see Lorencia smiling at him. He smiled back, more confident. "Yes, I love you... Do you... love me back?"

"I have a cute laugh, you think?" She smiled playfully and giggled a little bit more. "Well, I think you have cute face!" To onlookers, their hopeless flirting would have been seen as terrible, but Nova was really happy with his company. In fact, she thought he was cute and definitely worth her time on the cruise.

Happy he took her hand, she held onto it, leading him towards the other two. The thought that her hand would be too strange and rubbery for Ling made her a bit self conscious. Could she really handle another guy leaving her on the cruise so quickly? Just to make sure, she turned her head back towards him and smiled brightly. They got to where Roland and Aswan were and stopped. She stood right next to Ling, still holding his hand with her own. She was no longer sure whether she was showing affection towards an almost stranger to stubbornly show she was not alone, or whether she truly wanted to spend time with him. Either way, she wanted him to stick around.

"Look at all the food! We can get some snacks here or eat meals inside, if anyone would prefer that," she offered. She thought it was best to keep all options open, even though she knew she would be eating more than once over the duration of the cruise. "I probably have not tasted most of the foods on offer, so I am happy to try anything."

The thrill of learning that his power was related to time was... overshadowed by the conflicting feelings in Lorencia's chest. She knew she liked Victor, but... was that love? How could she know? Hearing him confirm what he said had made her heart beat faster and the blush on her face became redder.

"I..." she started, shifting in her seat, "I don't know... I mean... I like you a lot... like... really like you... is that what love is? Because if it is, then, I do. I love you~" Standing up, she planted an innocent little kiss on his cheek with a soft giggle.

He grinned when Lorencia kissed him. She did love him back!

"Thank you." He said shyly. "You don't know how much you mean to me. I know we only met today, but I feel like it was a lifetime ago."

He moved in for a hug, kissing her back. This is the best day of his life.

"No need to thank me, really. It's nothing. We like each other, and that's all that matters, right?" She wrapped her arms around him to return the hug. "So, what do you want to do now that we've confessed our love?" she asked, half-teasingly.

"Well, um, maybe we could watch a movie?" Victor said as he returned time to normal. "I've never really been on a cruise before." There was a lot of firsts today.

"Me neither. Well, we did have boat rides at home, but it was never like this." A movie sounded good, so she just nodded and stepped back from the gentle embrace, taking another lick from her ice cream. "The offer still stands, you know."

"This Boat is kind of amazing," He meant the Cruiseliner. "about 100 years ago, the biggest ship then was about two-thirds of the size this Boat is."

He put his hands down when she moved out of the hug and thought about it.They could be considered a couple now (he thinks), so there wouldn't be much issue if he had some of her ice cream. On the other hand... "Never mind me, I bought that Ice cream for you, so it's all yours."

"That's amazing!" She was going to remember that for the next time she was with Devias. He loves knowing things like that.

"Alright, but don't expect me to offer it again," she playfully stuck her tongue out at him. That was really sweet of him, but she really wouldn't have mind it if she shared. Maybe he just didn't like it? Whatever the reason, it didn't matter anymore. "So, where do you want to watch the movie? Do they have a theater here?"
