Love Cruise: Students

Nova was not in the mood for meeting new people anymore. Or rather, she was not interested in forming relationships anymore. She just wanted to have fun. So when Will left her and she was immediately approached by yet another guy she was less than thrilled. That being said, the new guy was more attractive than Will even though she felt less drawn to him. Well, it was a Love Cruise, so she guessed there were plenty of people there who were looking for love. Especially the older guy in the pool who looked a little bit too content with watching everyone in swimsuits. The point was, Ling was cute, she had nothing better to do, so she was going to see if he wanted to hang around for a while.

"Hello, Ling. I am Nova, and I arrived here not too long ago too!" she said this in a much more cheerful voice than she meant to. She was not unhappy, but she kept looking across at Roland, wondering what his thoughts on the whole situation were.

Aswan called out to her, and she remembered the snacks they were going to get. Poor Ling, he had only just gotten into the pool. "Okay, Aswan! I will be there in a minute!" She wanted to get snacks with them still, because she was hungry and believe it or not, she liked Aswan. She hoped for her sake that Roland did not behave so immaturely towards her.

Looking back to Ling, who had just gotten into the pool, she said, "You are going to hate this," she attempted to make herself look as friendly, interesting as possible, and maybe a little flirty too, and said, "My... Friends and I are getting some snacks. You are welcome to as well, but you just got into the pool..."

She half-smiled at him, playing with a few strands of hair. Would he agree?

Roland smiled, "I would love some snacks." He wasn't sure why, but there was something about Aswan that caught his eye.

He thought of Nova as a friend, he didn't see why one disagreement should change that.

"I'll happily come," he stepped beside her to wait for Nova. "I am still getting used to the food here," he said with a chuckle, "perhaps you can suggest some for me."

"Good to meet you Nova," it was so strange, being here, around other kids. "Oh good, I was a bit worried, I'd be the only new person here," this was very new, he had grown up in a isolated monastary, now he was here.

He tilted his head and chuckled, "yes I'll come," his smile was calm, but in truth the young dragon was very excited at the prospect of making friends and talking to a cute girl. "The pool isn't going anywhere," he stepped beside her, "thank you." Despite normally staying very calm, one could tell he was very happy.

"Spark Grape? Sounds like a Flavour I'd like." He replied. Admittedly, it did sound a little interesting. "So how sweet does it actually get?

Reaching the Stand, the Server behind it called out to them. "Heyo! young Miss and Mister. what will you two younglings have?" He obviously enjoyed his job, and this was without a doubt directed to them, no-one else was near the stall.

"Really sweet! But not so much that it makes you sick or rot your teeth on contact!" she'd say brightly. "But in all seriousness, I don't really know how to describe it. It's fruity, and doesn't have a long-lasting aftertaste."

Now at the ice cream place, she looked at all the available flavors offered by the lively man behind the counter. Lorencia turned to Victor and said, "I'll have what you're having, Victor!"

Roland smiled and chuckled, he wasn't sure what a Kit Kat or a Mars Bar was, but he'd now look for them.

He looked to her, "you are new to the island as well?" he asked curiously, "I only recently arrived, I haven't yet explored it." He was hoping to explore with all his new friends, but Aswan in particular had caught his eye.

He smiled as Nova, appeared ready to go, and it looked like they had a newcomer. "Seems we are ready Aswan," he said smiling.

Ling grinned a bit, one of the few times he's ever broken into more than his calm smile, "you have a cute laugh."

He followed her to the edge, and was surprised when she offered his hand. As someone raised among humans his mind thought about the romantic implications of hand holding, but at the same time she didn't seem human. Either way, he took her hand, he couldn't help but already like this girl.

"Thank you Nova," he said with a bright smile as he stood beside her, holding her hand, "let's go see what snacks they have," he said a bit flirty, this was very new to him, but it was a love cruise, and he already liked this girl.

"Well, that's good." It's not pure sugar then. "I think the things that truly mean much to us are things that we can't describe."

He nodded his head, looking at the list of flavors. There were a lot, some with names he couldn't even pronounce. How could he choose a single flavor? Out of ideas, he asked the Server. "What are the most popular flavors people buy here?"

The Man behind the counter laughed. "Depends on what you're looking for, most people on these Cruises generally pick an Eros special.Taste like those chocolates you find in those heart containers, and perfect for couples." He winked at the two.

"Well, it sounds good, I'll have two," he said, pulling out some notes. "How much?"

He didn't understand the man's grin as he was handed the two cones and thought about it as he gave one to Lorencia. "That guy... seems a bit off."

Adelyn blushed and giggled when Stefan said she looked ‘stunning’.

“Thank yooou! Storm helped me pick this out. I like looking at the moon and stars at night, so I gravitated to this one right away.”

She did a little spin to show her swimsuit off. The rhinestones dazzled in the sunlight.

“Yeah! It’s really cool! Even though I haven’t seen any dolphins yet…”

She pouted for all of two seconds, and then perked right back up.

“But! We only just started, so I’m sure we’ll see some! And there’s lots of other stuff to do too that I didn’t even know about! I haven’t even seen the pool yet—where is that?”

“I’m Sweet Pea now?” Storm said with a small laugh. Indeed, Storm wasn’t the only adult on the cruise dominated by teenagers. It was a relief to have Haru there along with her. Ever since the corn maze, Haru had become a comfortable and familiar presence that Storm appreciated in her life. Even if Haru did like to tease the heck out of her.

Storm wore a breezy white shirt and a pair of teal shorts. While as a wolf she was accustomed to the winter cold, it was nice getting a break from it and enjoying the more summery warmth supplied by magic on the cruise.

Storm leaned against the rail, glancing back down at Adelyn and Stefan.

“They seem to be enjoying themselves,” she commented.

"Yeah, you're right! That does make things feel more precious." It did seem like it. It just seemed more special and personal if you can't explain it. It was more mysterious that way.

While Victor was picking a flavor, she looked over the flavors on display. They came in so many different colors! They all looked so pretty too!

Lorencia tilted her head slightly and asked, "Why do you think so?" as she took her cone and gave it a lick. "Oh this tastes great!"
