Learning things

Savannah stood in the hallway. She was nervous being here for her first time.She didn't know where to go or what to expect. Where was her dorm again? Who would her room mate be? She remembered her father telling her, "honey,if your mother or I ever die,promise you'll never turn into one of those girls who wears all black and says "whatever"." She'd lost both her Mom and Dad, and she still wasn't one of those girls, and never would be. She stood at the door trembling. She needed guidance!

"Well", said Savannah "I'm new here and I really don't know a thing about what I'm doing or really where I'm going." She read her dorm number to the girl. I'm Savanna by the way."

"Well, Claire,I'm cool with that." She opened the door to the dorm. There were Bunk beds covered in a plain green spread. "Oh, no, no, no! This won't do!" She said. "First thing I'll do in here is replace this blanket, she said touching the green spread. She placed her suitcase on the floor."I'm sure you got the right number." said Savannah smiling. "Even if you didn't you can sit down if you'd like."

"It'd be more fun if you found out as time went on, but I'll show you my weaker power." She carefully created a forcefield around herself. "It's great when your being attacked. I can only create one around myself though."

"Wow, that's awesome!" Exclaimed Savannah."I sure I wish I could have done that back on the farm, to tell those stubborn 'coyotes to leave us alone.They were so bothersome,they scared my Mot-"she stopped. "Well, they scared some people on the farm one time, they screamed so loud I spilled my cider all over myself!It was funny, but there now,I don't want to bore you." She adjusted her hat nervously, hoping she didn't blab to much.
