Ravi remain in his unconcious state, the blood still seeping from his wound. The rats continued to follow Thresher, crowding around him. A few lapped up the blood that was coating the ground, but none made any threatening moves to against thresher.

Soon, he managed to get the boy topside, and...Wow he didn't look good. It was amazing how dark blood looked when you didn't have any light. Ravi's arm, and most of his upper body for that matter, were absolutely drenched in the bright red fluid of life. A few bystanders looked on in horror as Thresher carried the boy into the streets. A few ran off to find police.

Thresher eyed the rats as he just brought Ravi up and out of the sewers. Laying the boy down on the ground and wiping a hand of on the grass or whatever was available, The large man pulled a phone out of his pants and dialed up the emergency services. After he'd explained the situation and given a location, he just sat down on the curb and waited.

It wasn't long before the ambulance pulled up, and paramedics filed out and loaded Ravi onto a stretcher and into the back of the vehicle. Tending began and Ravi was re-bandaged and hooked up to blood and stuff. Thresher might have left him alone at this point, just let the paramedics take him and deal with him there, if he hadn't been feeling guilty for biting the boy.

So Thresher escorted him to the hospital, and was quickly wrapped-up in the red tape of things while Ravi was admitted to a room.

Thresher would learn that the boy's arm had broken as a result of the bite, and had almost died of blood-loss. He was also suffering from severe malnutrition, as well weakened bones due and vitamin deficiencies. Eventually the boy had gotten a room, and got checked in.

He lay there, an IV hooked up to his arm, and several machines attached to his body. He looked pitiful, dirty, and above all...

He looked small. He was just a kid, living in the sewers. A shame.

Thresher saw to everything he needed to, paid the bill and whatnot, and was shown to the kids room for a brief period. Thresher was a wolf, he wasn't gonna take pity on the kid for being a runt, the small ones had to work just as hard as the rest.

Once everything was in order, Thresher left them with one more thing for the boy. "When he wakes up, tell him to talk to Thresher if he needs food, not to poach deer anymore." and then he just left the hospital, no regrets.

The next day, Thresher would recieve a call from the hospital. They would inform him that Ravi had disappeared, a piece of paper with a message on it in crude block letters in his place.

"THANCKZ U"

The paper read. The staff looked for him for hours, but no sign of the small rat could be found. He was long gone.

Oh well, at least upon last observation his arm had mostly healed. He should be alright.

Wherever he was.
