Graduation Day

When his name was called, Wesker stepped forward with the utmost grace, trademark smile adorning his face and head held high. He went through the expected motions flawlessly as he accepted his diploma. "To new beginnings."

As he turned and headed offstage, his smile widened for a split second.

Yes, it was only the beginning.

Kaiser floated foward once he heard his name called. Like it still felt weird for him to be graduating at the age of fifteen but whatever, he was graduating. He pretty much followed what everyone else did, Smiles handshakes and all.

Once he got his diploma, The ghost headed off stage and snickered to himself. "Great I'm done with school for now. What's next huh?" He was plotting, plotting of all the things he can do with this freedom.

It was graduation. A day Valentine Crowther honestly never thought he'd be seeing, from the moment he stepped into school. College, back then, had been something to aimlessly waste his time away in, a distraction, something to make it seem like he was doing something. It was expected from him, after his initial homeschooling, and truly, it had been a good way to have a little escape from his family, especially his father. It'd just been another cage, in the end, but here he was. His father dead. An open home. School wrapping up. Escaping it all. He took to holding his breath while waiting to go through with this, heart pounding, deafening in his ears. Then, when it happened, it took his breath away entirely.

It was a blur to Val, really. His name was called, he went up onto the stage. He graduated summa cum laude, pride singing in his chest, warmth in his cheeks, tears burning at the edges of his eyes, a smile on his sharp face. He shook the Headmistress' hand and received his diploma and degree in Political Science, bowed, and left.

He tried to stay calm and slow, but his pace picked up and he made his way out, trembling and restless. As soon as he burst out the Ballroom, he laughed, giddy and shaky, and let out a cheer. He was free!

Today was the last day was the last day Morgan Ferris would be considered a Student at Starlight Academy, she had only been enrolled for a few years, but it felt like shed been here forever. Starlight Academy changed Morgans life… it only took a few weeks of enrollment for her to realize what an amazing place It was, this placed helped people, and she desired to help it. As soon as she had the opportunity she enrolled into the Student Council, she started proposing new ideas, hosting events for the school, she worked her ass off… and it paid off. She felt like she had given back to the school in the same way that it had given so much to her.

Perhaps it was time to leave? No… despite Morgan no longer being a Student she would find a way to continue supporting the school, she would donate, help host events, perhaps shed even try working for the school? Her majors where in Business and Journalism… hell she might have to go back to school for a new degree… But that would come later, for now shed keep her uniform clean and tidy in her closet, a reminder of the wonderful time she spent in school.

She took her diploma and shook the Headmistresses hand… the Headmistress who had founded this wonderful school, the Headmistress whos actions brought all these people to Manta Carlos Islands… how many lives had she saved by doing that? Surely the number must be in the thousands, so many people who would’ve been outkasts, had to live in hiding, or would’ve been killed because of their appearances or powers.

“Thank you Headmistress Moor, what you’ve done with this school and this island has been amazing.” she spoke looking right into her eyes through a kind smile. She barely knew this woman truly, but she loved her.

No big speech, Morgan certainly loved being the center of attention, but not today, this wasn’t her day.

This was her big moment. Everything that she had been waiting for, her future; it was all in the next few moments. She tapped her feet on the ground as she waited patiently for her name to be called. No, she wasn't nervous, but anxious to just get it over with. With a college path already chosen, she was going to be even happier. When her name was called, she straightened her outfit and stood, walking confidently to the stage. She smiled at the headmistress, shaking her hand and taking her diploma. This was all that she needed in order for the next step in her life to start. Fontaine wanted to say something to the eyes that were on her, but nothing came out. The girl walked back to her seat beside her best friend, In Suk.

Thankfully for her, Fontaine was there to let her know when her time was up. Though she would most likely be able to read the announcers lips, there was no telling if she would get it right. Fontaine nudged her to let her know it was time. She stood, fixing her glasses before taking her first few steps. It was weird to have so many eyes on her. Her pace was fast as she got up to the stands, shook a few people's hands before taking her paper and running off the stage. Thankfully when she got back, Fontaine's arms were there to hug her. It was over.

Finally, school was over. Shefera pretty much screamed in relief when her name was called. This was the moment of truth for sure, but after this, there was no reason to worry anymore. She had a good job, a career path in mind and hopefully she would make some kick ass friends in college. Whatever it entailed, her high school years were over. She took the mic into her hand and smiled at everyone. "To a new start!"

It would be an understatement to say that Cairo wasn't paying attention. With all these hot people in one room; why would he care about some paper? The guy beside him had to punch his shoulder for him to stop staring at some girls behind. "Okay okay." He shooed him away as he stood, proud but lacking any enthusiasm. He got it all over with in a few seconds and stepped off. There didn't need to be any sappiness.

Jeriya had a speech all prepared, but there was no use of saying it. He had said his words to Vinanye, so that was good enough for him. Once he was up on the stage, he gave the boy a small wave. That there, that was his real future.
