It's the start of a new year, and that means it's time for a fresh start! This contest is all about cleaning up old threads, starting new ones, and getting yourself out there.

What Kind of Contest is This?
​
The Fresh Start contest is an OOC contest that encourages players to do one of three things:​
  1. Finishing up an old thread. Threads started in 2017 and earlier will give the participants a point when finished. Finishing old threads does not have a limitation for what member you're posting for. All players who posted in the thread in 2018 get this point, not just the last person to post.​
  2. Starting a new thread. As a note, you can only get this bonus once for the first thread you start with a member. You can get a point for starting a thread for A, and a point for starting a thread with B, but you won't get a second point for starting a second thread for A. Only the person who starts the thread get this point.​
  3. Finishing a new thread. Threads started in 2018 will give participants two points when finished. Just like with starting a new thread, you can only get this bonus once for the first thread from 2018 you finish with each member (although it does not have to be the one you got the bonus for starting with them). All players who participated in the thread get this point, not just the last person to post.​

How Do I Enter?​

Post in this thread with the form, and edit it throughout the month whenever you start or end a thread. This thread will be locked on the last day of the month, at which point all entries will be final, so be sure to put everything in before then.

Whats the Goal?​

This contest is a double whammy, with two main goals. First, we'll declare a winner in the February announcements, recognizing the person with the highest overall point count. Second, all players can cash in their points in order to earn power vouchers. For every point a player gets, they can earn a power voucher, up to a maximum of ten.

Any Other Restrictions?​

Finished threads must be at least two pages, or five posts a player for group threads. If an old finished thread only has one post in January, it will only count for the person who posted in January. Threads will be considered finished when they have a 'finished' tag applied (if you need help with this, post in mod requests).
