Right, all setup. Admittedly, Marcus was a little-No, wait, Very Excited. Maybe it was this that made him go all out, but in his opinion, its the first meeting for his very own club, so it needed to be perfect. And hopefully, it was.

It was a struggle at first to get this unused Computer Lab, but he was thankful he did it. Plenty of room for everything he set up, from the Donkey Kong to the few he had downloaded League of Legends on, and even an Xbox with GTA had been loaded.

Now, all he needed were the other members to show up.

Some College Student had set up a games group for afterschool, so naturally Jaxon would be there. Despite taking a wrong turn at first, he showed up. despite being impressed, expecting maybe Mario kart on one or two computers, he managed to keep a straight face. "Nice." He said simply.

Even as a little girl, Rosetta enjoyed games, be it physical or digital. Back then, things weren't as impressive and when she got older, she didn't have that much time to play because it was always training and schooling. Well not always but she didn't get much time to play still. There were a lot of stuff she didn't finish, and a few more that she wanted to start but things kept coming up, but when she did get to play she found a lot of enjoyment.

So when she heard that there was a gaming club being put together, Rosetta joined just for the heck of it. It would be fun to play with others, and since she didn't have anything to play on at the apartment other than her phone, she hoped she could get some game time here. Until she and her sister got a computer or a console.

She opened the door to the computer lab and waved gingerly to the two already there. "Hi there! This is the gaming club, right? I'm Rosetta."

"Uh, Hello." Marcus started, forgetting to welcome the other boy that walked in. "I'm Marcus. And yeah, this is the Gaming Club. I have a few games set up, so pick whatever takes your fancy."

Great, there were already two people! This seemed to be a good start. Maybe even more people were on their way. "Okay, so is there any games in particular that you enjoy playing?" He said to the two present. "If they are not here, I could get them for later sessions."

Did he just ignore him for a pretty girl? That was rude. Loudly, he spoke up, glaring at Marcus. "I'm Jaxon Jupiter, the guy not trying to hit on you."

That should make this more interesting. Without waiting for a response, Jaxon pulled up a chair. It had been a while since he had played GTA, but the controls were easy to pick up, and soon he was racing a police car around the town, sirens wailing.

Rosetta chuckled at the younger boys. This might be a problem? So far, there was only two other people here, and she expected that there would be more boys than girls, if stereotypes were to be believed. Though she hoped there would be at least one other girl here in the club, otherwise it would get weird real fast.

For the most part, she didn't have anything to say to Jaxon. Rather, she didn't know what to say to him since he already went to go play a game. So she just turned to Marcus.

"I haven't had a chance to play a lot of games, but I do enjoy RPGs and shooters the most. A little bit of strategy games on the side too."

Marcus stared at Jaxon. Was he really trying to flirt with her? Stammering, He quickly replied. "Uh, sorry about that. Not sure how to act around people sometimes." Clearing his throat, he spoke in a more calm tone. "So, well, league of legends sounds like the best choice currently."

He pointed to a computer blaring music. "That one just finished downloading it if you want to play. It has a tutorial mode if you want to begin with that."

((OOC: I felt like a waiter writing that))

Rubbing his eye, Jaxon glanced around the room. So this guy set this all up? He expected more people, but hey, that meant more game time for Jaxon.

"So where's everyone else?" He had to ask. if this was to actually be a club, it would have to have more than three people.

"Oh, it's that game people are crazy about, isn't it?" It was a pretty big game, or at least, in the circles she browsed when she had the time. Yeah, it wasn't something she had tried before. On the RTS side of it, she only got to use one unit, and didn't need to worry about building bases. It didn't appeal to her that much but she was willing to try it out.

After all, that was why she joined the club in the first place, to try out the games she never had time to. "Alright, I'll give it a try."

She took her place and signed up for an account. On a completely different email than she had used from the ones she used before coming to the islands. She couldn't risk getting tracked.

The other boy asked something she was meaning to. "Yeah, don't tell me we're all that's here?"

"Well, it seems like that's everyone." Marcus slowly answered. He had hoped more people would turn up. "Guess it wasn't as popular as I hoped."

"So anyway." He said this more quickly, in order to change the subject. "I'll just leave you to your game. Call out if you need anything."

"Alright!" she could feel that Marcus was a bit disappointed with the turnout. Well, it was just the three of them for now it seems. Were games not that popular anymore? No, that can't be right. The others might just be late.

... And speaking of late, she had to make sure she didn't take too long. She didn't have classes, but she had to meet with her sister later, and Rosetta didn't like to make her wait.

"What are the games you like playing, Marcus?"

"Well, If anything, I think I prefer MMORPGs, especially those with a lot of customization." Those were the types of games he played most often. "So it'd be World of Warcraft or similar, I guess.."

He sat down at another desk. This one also had League of legends playing, but Marcus had already signed into this one. "This Game is interesting, particularly because of the competitive side."

___

"I expected you to be more of one of those logic games fanatics." Jaxon piped up. "But seriously, How much time have you spent just grinding ingame?"

He thought it was a reasonable question. In WoW, you start as the weakest and gradually become overpowered to basically everything else. Why spend all that time when games like GTA exist where you could have fun at any point in the game?

Rosetta nodded to Marcus. She hadn't played that type of game due to it being so time-consuming. One would really need to invest a lot of hours to keep up, and it didn't help that those games were built to be tedious and repetitive. Though, most games could be argued to be just that. Whatever the case, she doubted she'd be able to invest time in those games. "I enjoy a bit of competition, so long as it's a fair game. Not that I couldn't handle a handicap." She glanced towards Jaxon when he spoke up. Grinding, that was the word she was looking for. "I imagine that can get boring, unless you had friends to play with."
