Friends, Past and Spurned Lovers Wanted

So I have two possible characters I might be able to throw at you here. Both are listed in my signature.
Lochlann is a water horse, but he's never been to the land of fae. He was born in Europe and lived in America before he came to SA. He spends a lot of time looking and acting human and, for the most part, has never had actual fae friends. (His last fae girlfriend died, but that's another story.) It might be interesting to throw them together if you're up for it.
The other option I have is Cabel.
Cabel is an alchemist who pays for college by selling magical drugs. He's best known for drugs that get people insanely high with very minimal side effects, mostly those that cause you to expell rainbows in some manner. He's got some connections to the black market since he utilizes it to sell his wares.
I understand if neither of these are quite what you're looking for but I did want to offer. :)

I'm just excited for threads right now lol I can see where both would be interesting, as Lochlann might would be interested in shop from a student standpoint since she gets a lot of student traffic. There are a lot of odds and ends in the shop, and the special items are in the basement.
Cabel could also work since Amani would probably buy the drugs from him and keep to resell or have her own good time with lol he also might like some of the special items within the basement, or he might could find materials for his work. It's really whatever might sound better to you ^_^

Yes! Lochlann is actually job hunting right now so I have an excuse for him to be visiting a lot of shops. (Plus it's the sort of place he'd be looking for a birthday present.) He would probably also shamelessly flirt with her. Would she be able to tell what he is without him saying?
Cabel would most definitely fit for the reasons you listed. He's really good at finding things people need (it's one of his powers) so I could imagine they'd have a pretty good business relationship going on.
I'm torn on both now so I suppose it's up to you--do you have any plot goals you're looking at that I could help with at the moment?

I don't think she would be able to tell what Lochlann is just by looking at him, but I would think fae would be able to sense their own kind when they meet. As far as the threads go, why don't we just do one with Lochlann first and then we can do the one with Cabel after that? I don't have any real plot goals since I haven't gotten the chance to rp much yet, I just want to rp with people lol
