This dance thing was nerve wracking. The anxiety was all over Adelene's face, as she kept her eyes on their feet, and her hands were slightly shaky on where they settled on Lochlann's shoulder and in his own hand. Thank goodness the music was slow; this way she didn't have to hurry up and panic and end up stepping on Lochlann's foot. No, it was going much smoother than she expected.
But her heart was still being wild inside her chest. She was certain it was nervousness, but she couldn't deny the thrill that this dance was making her feel, little by little. Lochlann's hands were warm, and that warmth made her not want him to remove them on her anymore. She would spin every now and then, but then they will go back to their original position quickly after. Slowly, Adelene relaxed, and instead of their feet, her eyes found their way into Lochlann's again, and settled there. The nervousness soon faded, too. She was slowly being filled with glee and thrill, and her smile showed that soon enough.
She admired Lochlann's elegance. Eventually, it stopped feeling like a dance inside the fancy restaurant, and started feeling like the wind was gently caressing and swaying her. And that graceful wind was Lochlann.
Her almost fantasy-type of imagination was, however, disturbed as Lochlann spun her around once more, but this time so they could both turn to a camera. Though taken by surprise, though blushing madly, Adelene smiled sweetly to the lens, before spinning ba towards Loch.
A giggle bubbled up her throat from her overjoyed heart. She usually wouldn't, but she was genuinely enjoying this dance by now, and that was thanks to her... date? Her best friend. Right. Best friend. This wasn't really a date, it was just some fancy dinner with her best friend. Her graceful and attractive best friend...
She looked away. She could feel her face heating up even more, thanks to those thoughts. While they were true, she should really stop thinking of Lochlann that way. Thankfully he spoke, and there was finally something to talk about. Halfheartedly, she glanced up again, raising her eyebrows curiously.
"There's something else? What would that be?"
