Skates? Check. Jacket? Check. Hat? Check. Ricky was ready, all she needed was something to eat, and she would be set. Grabbing her skates and some cash, Ricky ran out the door, heading for the cafeteria. She pulled her hat down over her ears, wishing they weren't so sensitive. Looking around, she giggles, running through the snow. God, did she miss this.
If only her stomach didn't start growling. She didn't have time for breakfast, if people got to the lake before she did, they would ruin the ice! She frowned, mumbling about the dangers of tiny ice chunks and tripping as she strolled to the cafeteria. Looking down at her watch, she groaned. Already 10:00 AM, she couldn't afford a food break. She stopped, torn.
"Oh well, I can eat later." She turned, smiling at the fog emanating from her mouth. She loved the winter. She loved ice. She did not, in fact, like ice on sidewalks. As Ricky started to run for the lake, she fell forward. Onto someone else. Someone very warm, and very upset with the current state of things.
