Alessa shuffled around awkwardly, she was glad that Emily was home. "Yes, I was wondering if maybe you could help Shay here? Like how you helped me." last time Alessa had seen Emily, they had arranged an appointment first, hopefully them not having an appointment this time wasnt an issue.

Emily looked between the two girls standing at her door, tilting her head slightly. "Well... I-I mean... W-Well, come in... I can d-do what I can to help... B-But it'll really be up t-t-to... Sh-Shay? Was it?..."

She opened the door for the two of them, hiding behind it slightly before closing it behind them. "H-Here... Let m-me get some t-t-tea and um... G-Get dressed....." Her faced turned red again as she gestured to the living room, which had a few chairs and a couch. "Y-You can have a seat... if y-you like..."

No sooner had she said this before she darted off to hide in her room for a few minutes as she threw on some actual clothes. Nothing fancy, just sweat pants and a t-shirt, but at least she had underwear on now.

A couple more minutes as she fussed around in the kitchen to boil water for tea, and then she would appear once more to the girls, setting a tray of cups on the table. "... A... Alright... I th-think I'm ready now... Wh-What's the problem?..."

Shay sat on the couch stiffly and peered around the unfamiliar dorm. No, this wasn't professional. So that's why Emily did this free of charge. It had something to do with her power, mutually beneficial, maybe? Shay wondered if the girl had a stutter or if she was just extremely shy. Maybe both. She had blushed at them seeing her in a robe.

Shay was trying hard to sigh or look annoyed with her own unease. When Emily returned, the twelve-year-old seemed to size her up, glancing at Alessa. "I wanted to talk about my power? I guess. I mean." She huffed. She loathed sounding so flipping weak. Too much vulnerability.

"I'm just frustrated is all. I don't want to take my powers class. I don't see the point. My power is pretty much never going anywhere but where it is now.

Alessa followed Shay into Emilys house and took a seat, she felt a little bit awkward being there and wasnt sure if she should leave. Maybe she could help out though... She took one of the tea cups and poured a bit for herself, she was a bit too nervous to think and took a sip from it before blowing on the water and letting it cool, burning her tongue a bit.

"Oh... oh gosh..." she panicked a little and set the cup down, hoping no one noticed.

Of course Emily noticed as Alessa's panic alighted on her tongue. She just gave the witch a small smile and quickly ran back to the kitchen to get an ice cube for her. "Here... D-Do be careful, the tea i-is very hot..."

She turned her attention back to Shay again, smoothing her pants down over her lap as she sat down again. "We don't h-have to talk about... A-Anything you don't want to... Shay... We'll go s-slow if you prefer it that way..."

Em tilted her head slightly as the young girl continued. "... D-Do you... Like your p-power where it is... N-Now?... Are you a-afraid you might lose something... If i-it changes?..."

"No," Shay answered sullenly to the second question. Or maybe it was to both? "I'd be happy to lose something or take away from how overwhelming everything is. I just don't think there is anywhere for it to go. There's no way to train my abilities without killing myself. They're pretty much useless."

Shay sighed, figuring she should tell them what her powers, were at least. If Emily were to help her, she'd need to know, wouldn't she? Shay was all sorts of irritated and stressed. The stress furthered her anger. "See; I view peoples death when I touch them, any skin to skin contact does it. I don't just see one death; I see them all. From every possible outcome. When I sleep, I see mine. And I constantly hear the whispers of the dead, but I never know what they're saying."

Alessa slipped an ice cube into her tea, and blew on it a little making sure it wasnt hot anymore.

"Gods thats awful... But there must be someway to control it right?" her blind optimism was showing, hard. Deep down she thought there mustve been someway to help Eroshay control her powers, maybe a spell or something someone else hasnt tried yet.

Emily listened quietly to Shey as she explained her plight to her, becoming slightly solemn as she poured herself a cup of tea, and one for Shey as well. "... N-Not all powers can be turned o-off, Alessa..."

She paused and stared into her cup, looking thoughtful as she mulled over all of Shey's words for a few moments. "... Y-You seem like... A v-very mature girl... Shey... You think the only solution is death?... is that your plan?..."

Shay was glad that Emily had answered Alessa for her because she wasn't feeling up to explaining how she'd already tired. How this was just the way things were. She was resigned to that now, though, Shay wasn't completely sure where that left her.

Shay was quiet for a time. She wasn't sure whether to feel offended or not. "Are you asking me whether I'm thinking about killing myself?" She kept her face neutral now. "No, Emily, I don't plan on killing myself. I see death all the time, mine, yours, everyone's, but I don't want to die. If I did, I'd be dead by now. I'm just frustrated. That's all. I have no secret agenda for what to do. This is what it is."

"O-oh... im sorry..."

She shouldn't have said anything, she felt awful for saying anything... she decided to keep quiet and sip more of her tea, it was a bit cooler now. She still felt bad, she wished there was a way she could help Eroshay but it was probably out of her power
