You're Gonna Hear Me Howl [Night]

A cute wolf with red fur sprinted through the woods. She was going nowhere in particular; she just wanted to take in some fresh air. Staying inside was boring, so why not go and explore? This time her body decided to shift into wolf form, so she was a little red pup bolting between trees. Her little paws carried her through the terrain with ease. Cana panted as she kept running. This was more like it! That was when she edged uncomfortably close to the forbidden forest. She had no idea it was forbidden or what dangers went on in there, but she was one turn away from crossing the border. The little werewolf went for a sharp turn around the corner.

@"Nightstripe"

Cana turned the corner and bounced right off of a mass of fur. She didn't even get to see what it was; she just got knocked back. The pup landed on her back. She let out a couple of cute barks in retaliation. Her little paws dangled around in the air. She blinked as a nose began to sniff her. One good look told her that it was a wolf. It was a huge wolf at that! He was an absolute beast! She felt greatly intimidated at first and curled up into a ball in fear. She only poked her head out when the stranger talked to her.

"I wanna explore! Being in the forest is fun!"

She yapped cutely towards him. She was fairly happy being in her natural habitat. However, she was still wary of the strange werewolf. The girl stayed within her fuzzy ball as her eyes watched him suspiciously.

@"Nightstripe"

Cana blinked as she was suddenly picked up. The girl didn't want to go back to school! She wanted to continue playing in the woods! She didn't understand that the woods and forbidden forest were split up. The woods wasn't too bad; the forest was outright dangerous. This wasn't Mississippi, so there was no way for her to know that. The child wiggled a bit in Thresher's grasp.

"What in the forest? I no wanna go back!"

The pup stopped moving and just lightly whined. She wanted to be outside!

Thresher chose correctly. While Cana was too stubborn to go back inside, she was more than willing to learn. The pup blinked as she was put down. She then yapped happily and chased her tail for one full cycle. She stopped to see where the giant wolf was headed. She followed him back to the spot where they stopped at. She dashed alongside him. Since her paws were much smaller, she had to make many more strides to even try to keep up with the huge werewolf.

Her eyes glanced up at his face. There seemed to be scars on his face. She was curious as to where they come from and why they were there. However, she was much too small to touch them. He was taller than her by a ridiculous margin. The two wolves trekked to the border. Once they were there, she sat down on her hind legs as she was shown the line. The pup watched attentively as she was informed via were speak about the two different areas.

"Ok."

She steadily got up and sniffed the boundary line. One paw pointed to the forbidden forest.

"Big bad things over there."

Her body suddenly shifted into her little girl form. Cana had no control of the transformation; it just happened. She turned and pointed towards the woods.

"Hunt and play here."

This was her way of understanding the instructions given to her. She realized that she was no longer a wolf and stood up on her two feet instead of all fours.

She had no idea what his experience had been this week. The girl wandered over to him and began gently petting his fur. She appreciated his lesson. It was like he was her father. The four-year-old cracked a small smile as her eyes gazed into Thresher's. She pointed at herself.

"Cana!"

She then pointed directly at the giant wolf.

"Who?"
