A long, long nap.
Or, at least, that's what it felt like. Gabe's eyes slowly blinked open as the buzzing of a cell phone seemed to echo in the living room. He attempted to pull himself up but found himself awkwardly tangled up and struggling to maintain a good balance. How did he get so tangled up in his blanket on the couch? He glanced down, noticing the rather warm body of his boyfriend underneath him instead. Oh. Oh. That makes much more sense. The memories of earlier that morning came rushing back. The crying, the talking, the eventual cuddling that led to them drifting into sleep on the couch. He felt a smile form as he pulled himself onto his hands and knees to the best of his abilities but kept his gaze locked on Yuki's face.
It felt so... strange. Being like this. Just having each other so close without anyone else around. But there was no stress, no panic, no worries. It was just Gabriel and Yuki in a quiet moment all to themselves. "Good afternoon, Yuki." He whispered softly, leaning back down to press his lips against the other boy's cheek. The sound of the cell phone vibrating went off again and Gabe attempted to locate its source. After a few moments, the buzzing would lead Gabe to check the floor and pull up a phone that was most definitely not his. He didn't recognize the number and moved once again to loom over Yuki. His hair was wild and unkempt at the moment, almost blocking his eyes.
"Yuki, wake up. Your phone is buzzing... I will keep pestering you until you wake up." He hummed, leaning down and stopping just above his boyfriend's face. Gabe wanted to give him a proper kiss but it would be rude to do that to someone who's asleep. Consent is important and a certain Disney movie needed to remember that.
