Gabe looked over at Yuki curiously, attempting to gauge his meaning. He wasn't sure if his boyfriend was intentionally trying to push past the boundary they usually kept themselves at or if he was really unaware of how the words sounded coming out of his mouth as of late. Because between the comment earlier about 'Netflix and chill, the moment regarding doing something different with their mouths, and now the feeding of one another with food, Gabe was ready to assume that Yuki wanted something a little more physically intimate with their relationship.
One that just barely got back to even footing as of this morning.
What did he want, exactly? What did either of them want? Where was the line? The only way to find out was to ask and Gabe was... scared. Scared of what Yuki was going to say, regardless of his feelings. Because maybe he read too much into his boyfriend's words and it would freak him out. Maybe he was getting the message loud and clear, but was he ready for what could happen as a result? He couldn't say. But not knowing was far scarier than anything else.
"Yuki... What... where exactly is the line? I'm kind of getting confused. And it's freaking me out a little because I want to know exactly where we stand." He paused, glancing at his lap. "Physically, I mean. You've said a few different things back to back that make me think you want more. But I also know that you've been worried in the past about what we could end up doing and I'm not even sure what could happen. But I want to know. I want to talk about this... I really, really need to know because I'm... open to trying more but I don't know what you're thinking and maybe I read too much into what you said so I'm making a big deal out of nothing and look ridiculous to you."
He looked to Yuki, but was beginning to find it hard to focus on him. Why did his stupid brain have to start ruining their day? It was supposed to be a stress free day.
