Freyja had no time for distractions. In, fact, she hated them. Her focus was always on her training, no matter what. Lessons at the academy came second to her individual training, but her father being a teacher allowed her to gain some respect for the classes taught. Nevertheless, she found some of them painfully simple. Power class was one of these. It may have been her minor, but she knew she could heal a wound. She knew she could fight with most sharp objects. Yet the school made her go over the simplicity that was first-year college classes. Fun.

She was there in the morning, waiting for class to start. Her sleek black hair was tied into a dead-straight, neat to the extremes ponytail, and she wore a completely black outfit as per usual. The black didn't really symbolise anything, she was neither goth nor villain, but she liked being able to leave the 'what to wear' decision out of each day. The black jacket and figure-hugging track pants she wore didn't showcase any style whatsoever. Instead, they exuded a feeling of just not giving a shit. And she didn't.

Her books were out of the way in her backpack, black as well, which hung on her back. She leant against a brick wall with the backpack and one foot, the other planted on the ground. She looked at the other students in the schoolyard. The ones who put way too much emphasis on 'popularity,' those who thought they could know everything by wearing big glasses and shoving their noses into books, the ones faking dumb to impress other dumb people and the ones who thought that school spirit was a thing that actually happened and paraded around with fake smiles plastered across their faces. It was the same in every school. She just didn't want to get to know any of these people.

Freyja did give a passing notice to a girl with dark-ish skin and choppy hair. She looked kind of like someone who would understand her. No, she thought, she's just another of them. They all were.

She sighed. Suddenly, she felt something... Wind? No? Yes? It must've just been the weather. She instead looked back into space, checking out all of the friendship groups wandering around. Nope, she definitely didn't fit any of them.
