Oh, oh fuck. This was actually happening, wasn't it? Jii's eyes were wide in anticipation, her lips parted ever so slightly while Evie leaned in. In her haze, it was easy for her to tell herself that she wanted this, and that she was ready.

Aaaand then, Evie abruptly memed her, and all she could do was slowly blink in confusion while she drifted down to the floor. Still stunned, she didn't even put her hands back out to catch herself, just kind of...laying back with her arms out, staring up at the ceiling. It took her a good few seconds to register what happened, eventually sitting up, then standing.

She still looked more than a little dazed, just kind of absently nodding at Evie's flute comment before moving to sit on the bed. Jii had no idea how to feel, really. Was Evie making fun of her, or just playing around, or...she shook her head, trying to just put it out of her mind for now. "Um, so...I guess I forgot what I was going to say, jeezo..."

Jii was of course able to pick up on Evie's mood, and was grateful that the weed worked the way it did as far as helping her identify which emotions belonged to who more easily. Was she disappointed about what just happened? Well, sure, but she was also relieved that she hadn't upset her.

She took the blunt after a brief moment of collecting her thoughts, tilting her head and taking a closer look at it. It was nearly all gone, by now, but that was probably a good thing overall. She didn't really feel like smoking herself into a total stupor.

Glancing back over to Evie, she repositioned herself to lay beside her, snagging a pillow to prop her head up and looking up at the ceiling with her. She sighed contentedly, taking one last, long drag from the blunt, holding the smoke in for a little bit before exhaling it through her nose.

Keeping it held between her lips, she smiled softly at Evie's thank you, nodding and wiggling her toes a little. "Oh, aha...no problem at all. I'm happy to play for you any time." Just then, though, the shortness of the blunt came back to bite her, the cherry having gotten low enough to lightly burn her lip. Jii gave a little startled yelp, putting the blunt out on a paper plate on Evie's side table. "Oww..."

Jii, of course, was quick to blurt out an apology to Evie, playing right into her hands even though she'd be able to easily tell it was an act if she focused a little. The Pixan girl rubbed at her lip, breathing a tiny sigh of relief that she apparently wasn't actually burned. Her heightened sense of touch was likely to blame for her startled reaction.

As had proved to be the norm, however, Evie's followup was entirely unpredictable to her, catching her entirely off guard. She gave a cute little wiggle of her nose after the boop, turning over onto her side as well and locking eyes with her.

"I, um, y-yeah, I guess I did use up the last of it...I'm not really sure what I can give you back, though. Um, I have those muffins I made, or...ah..." Jii was apparently just as clueless as ever as to Evie's intentions, but nonetheless she felt her heart start beating harder again. Even though she might have expected Evie to just mess around with her again, the curiosity and anticipation was absolutely killing her.

Jii had to say that if she'd learned anything about Evie today it was that her train of thought was almost impossible to follow. She had been certain that Evie was flirting with her again, or implying something entirely different, but...she wanted food?

"I, um...well, that should be totally fine, I think! I'll text you about it, yeah?" The pixan girl smiled sheepishly, holding eye contact with Evie for just a fleeting moment longer than she may have meant to before her phone buzzed in her pocket and startled her back to her senses.

Quickly grabbing for it, she grimaced and dismissed the alarm she'd set, looking apologetically over at Evie when she sat back up. "I totally forgot I had an order I needed to fill today and I'm reaally late, so I kinda have to go. Um, I'll text you though!"

Without really thinking, she leaned over and almost gave Evie a hug, hesitating at the last second and then just going ahead with it anyway before standing and moving to the door. She gave a tiny wave and an awkward giggle before rushing off to her dorm, having left both her muffins and her hoodie behind in her flustered flurry.
