With Cody's back finally turned, Lelei could let himself go a little bit. That is, he allowed himself a few lingering looks up and down Cody while the young man made his way to the kitchen for the coffee. At twenty-five, Cody was a few years older than the type of men Lelei tended to prefer, but Cody otherwise had everything Lelei was typically looking for. He was small, even when not compared to someone as big as Lelei, and he had a nice feminine build that Lelei liked in a young man. If Cody liked to dance around in stockings and half-pants, he would be pretty ideal.
But Lelei's ogling had to be short lived. He was still on the job and Cody was returning with a big pitcher of coffee. As comical as it was, it was perfect for Lelei's size and the situation at hand. He gladly accepted it.
"Thanks. A Siren, huh? Well, that's really something. I've seen one in real life, or rather, never assumed they existed. I'm going to guess that that has something to do with your Dante situation. Or maybe it's just your looks?"
Lelei drank from the pitcher without any sugar, which helped cover up a few extra quick looks at Cody.
"Yes. Yes. I want a good lay out of the house. I especially want to see any possible points of entry that I need to keep an eye on."
