Water Dance [Pisces]

"Just curious," Aura answered with a light shrug. Not many people seemed like they came with someone. Most kept themselves mysterious and were alone until someone approaches them. "I came here alone myself. Although... that's mostly 'cause I don't know anyone who'll come here with me."

She released a soft laugh. Ah, yes. The struggles of being the new and not-so-outgoing person.

"You're pretty friendly, so I thought you'd be with a friend tonight at least. Or, were you hoping for a mysterious meeting?" she smirked at him. "If that's the case, I'm sorry I ruined it."

"That's true. If this were a different kind of gathering, I would've felt so out of place not knowing anyone."

Aura chuckled and shrugged. The nudge on her arm was strangely reassuring, since such a gesture was something casual to her and that meant Carlos already treated her as a friend. He did say so after all, or at least that's how she understood it. "Definitely," she answered, smiling back at him. "And I'm glad I bumped into you too. Well... it was more like... it's inevitable for us to meet, what with this instinctive sense that we're both Zodiacs."

She played with the ice bracelet on her right wrist. She didn't know if she should grab something to eat or walk around or do something else altogether. She hummed thoughtfully, thinking Carlos could decide. "What do you wanna do? Want us to grab some food and get a table?"

They were conveniently near the food table, so after Carlos agreed, Aura also took a plate for herself and grabbed lots of bite-sized food. Bite-sized strawberry shortcake and chocolate cake slices for example. She took another plate for maki and sushi, before following Carlos to the table he's spotted.

"No need to be aggressive with the table, nobody's gonna steal it," she joked, snickering softly.

She set down the two plates on the table carefully. She didn't want to be in an accident that might ruin her dress, after all. And then she sat down, glancing at the dance floor for a moment before relaxing against her seat. "Ah... I have no idea how long I was standing and walking around. This feels nice," she said, grinning.

"Pfft." Aura started giggling as she watched Carlos eat. "I think sushi and cake are in different food categories so it's gonna be really hard if you try to choose which one is better."

Her plate of maki and sushi had a small saucer for kikkoman and wasabi. She used her chopsticks to dip one maki into the mixture, before taking the whole slice in one bite.

She chewed slowly and eventually was able to swallow everything. "You're right, this stuff is amazing! This school has really good stuff," she said afterwards, before dipping a piece of sushi into the kikkoman mixture. "Mm..." she removed her sandals underneath the table. It felt nice to get rid of the high heels.

She still watched the dance floor every now and then. Just like what she's already been thinking, it was nice to watch and observe people from a corner. And at the moment, she was glad she can do so with food and a friend. Speaking of which...

She turned to Carlos again. "Hey, Carlos, you haven't shown me your own tricks yet," she smirked. "I mean... How does playing with some water right now sound?"

Aura made a small gasp as her hands reflexively covered her mouth. Illusions weren't her thing. She just uses the water to her advantage, but she never gets to create something nonwater out of it. She can create a mirage through water vapor, but that's far different from illusions themselves. She removed her hands from her face and clapped them together. "That's awesome! It's gonna come in handy, you know." She smiled and leaned back against her chair. "How does making illusions feel like? Is it like controlling the small bits into shapes and angles for light reflection? Because I can never do illusions for some reason. I guess that trait is just for Pisces."
