Wanted: A case of mistaken identity

Recently, my girl-crazy water horse, Lochlann, returned to Starlight Academy to find his not-girlfriend, Guin, had been severely beaten and tortured.

Lochlann wants to hunt down Guinevere's dad and get revenge, only Guinevere's dad is impossible to find.

I'm looking for someone for Lochlann to mistake as Guinevere's dad so Lochlann can attempt to get revenge.

Bonus points if fake-dad can kick Lochlann's ass.

My hiatus was really unexpected, but I should have my health things sorted out soon.

While Lochlann is clearly going to mistake Jacob for Guin's dad, I think it would help if Jacob was in some kind of place where Lochlann could easily mistake Jacob for someone else. Is there somewhere Jacob would go where this could happen--bonus points if it'd look sketchy?

I'm going to hit you up after I finish my thread with Critical, if he's still interested, because I think it'd be great if Lochlann screwed up twice. He'd look for him in the hopes that he could get some kind of information, only to get his ass handed to him lmao

That would be perfect! Lochlann is going to sketchy places to find information. He might end up with a lead and mistake Jacob for him that way.

Unless Jacob has something sketchy in his past that would draw Lochlann to the conclusion that it was him all along? (Still a case of mistaken identity then, but sort of..intentional..mistaken..identity?)

Loch has tenuous connections through Cabel, my drug dealer, which makes sense as to why he'd get the infromation so wrong. Lochlann might get a garbled story of "slaughtered an entire underground human trafficking organization" to be "killed a lot of people over money and women".

Would you want to start the thread or should I?

Sure! I will hopefully be able to start tonight. my posting is going to be semi-irregular next week, so just a heads up, but I cleared open space for new threads so I should be good to go!
