Well this was awkward. One being awkward because this was the first time she had gone anywhere with anyone, ever. Her foster parents weren't the most 'go out and do things' type of people. It was also awkward as everyone was looking at them, not directly, but she could sense them taking their time and quickly glancing in their direction. All they were doing was walking downtown to go to a cafe, wherever it was. "Do you have any idea where this place is?" Merana said as she crossed her arms again and glared at people that were passing them. Was he just going to lead her forever? She was following him, as she had no idea where anything was yet at this school. 'I can't believe I agreed to this.' She sighed and shook her head lightly.

Yeah, don't worry. he said, flashing a bright, charming smile in her direction. I'm not lost this time, I promise. he says, taking another corner to the left, then to the right and straight to the wooden door of the small cafe. Here we go. he said, opening the door for her.

You are one lucky idiot. Magena said, looking down on him although she was technically trapped in his head. What would you have done if I hadn't remembered the address?

Don't know, asked someone? he thought, not wanting to argue with her outloud.

Don't even try to think, it gets things all messy up here. Just... Don't know, don't spill coffee all over her. I'll try to keep others at bey.

She smiled a bit and was relieved when they finally arrived. She didn't want the be lost twice in one day. "Thank you." She said quietly as she looked away when she entered. When Merana entered she was hit with the aroma of warmness.

It felt as if the air quality had changed and that it was a completely different dimension. One that was warm and cuddly and weird feeling, at least to her. "Well." She said quietly under her breath, observing the area. "Where do you want to sit? Or do you want to order something?" She turned back to the boy.

I, actually, haven't been here before myself so... he said, looking around. There were couple's sits everywhere, around small wooden tables, with people seated in twos or fours, cuddling close to each other in the cafe's warmth. Let's just find somewhere to sit first. he said, trying to sound confident, for he had intended for this to be a date. Sort of. He had just met the girl... And on that note...

Have I actually, at any point, introduce myself? he asked, warily, afraid that he had not.

"Okay." She said quietly as she looked around the room again. She crossed her arms as she saw all the couples in the cafe. 'What type of place was this?' Merana thought to herself. 'Why am I even here?' She sighed lightly as there was a short pause before the man talked again. "No, you haven't at least I don't think so." She paused. "I may have just forgotten." Merana turned towards him a bit, and introduce herself. "I'm Merana."

Hello, Merana. he said, giving her his best smile. My name is Lysander
...and I have six people in my head. Magena finished the sentence for him, snickering.

Mageeenaaaaaaaaa... he gritted at her in his head, and she went into a defensive mode right away. Sorry, sorry, don't try to think on me, I'm sorry. I...it was just too good of an opportunity to pass. I'm going to...go away now.

Glad to meet you. Let's find a place to sit. he said, his mood suddenly going south.

"Nice name." She smiled and nodded. "Nice to meet you too." She then looked around again to see two other people leaving their seats, as they were done. "There." Merana pointed and walked towards the table. Merana quickly sat down, claiming the table for the two of them.

Embarrassed, Lysander blushed. He had heard many things about his name, from weird to hard to remember, but he had rarely heard anyone say that it was 'nice'. The last person might as well have been his little sister, and, man has it really been three weeks since he had called them? He needed to do that soon. And who knows. Maybe by that time he would be able to tell them that he had met a nice girl...

Thanks. he answered, sitting down by her side. I like yours as well... Does it mean something? He could only hope he wasn't coming across as completely stupid with that question.

A few moments later a waiter came and Lysander ordered hot chocolate without hesitation, because hot chocolate was the best damn thing in the world. (It was also a most popular drink from the couple's maniue but he did not know that...yet)

"I don't know, and I probably never will." She lightly sighed and put her hand on her cheek to lean on her left arm. "Long story." She looked down to her left to make sure that he dagger was still there, as if she thought it could leave her. "I'll have a hot chocolate too I guess." Not wanting to read the menu, she just ordered the same as him. She would have maybe preferred to have hot chocolate with caramel, and whipped cream or something, but it wasn't like the waitress had given her the option of that.

Well, my means 'liberator'. he said, trying to keep the conversation light, sensing, somehow, that he had touched an uncomfortable topic.

Go figure. It doesn't really take a genius to figure that one out! Magena huffed in his head but he choose to ignore her.

It's Greek, apparently. he said, fiddling with his phone. My parents are mythology freaks. They like really weird names. It's supposed to be name of some general or something. he said, typing his name into the browser for the up-tenth time since discovering Google. He always forgot what his name, or the names of his siblings, were supposed to mean.

Here, see? he said, showing her his phone. This things are really easy to found out these days...Let's check yours out. a few clicks later, a blue looking site loaded on the screen. Here, see? It means 'woman of the waters'.
