It had barely been hours since the tsunami hit but people were on the job of rebuilding right away. Tempor, wanting to help his community decided that he would head down to the pier, since it was hit the worse. He wore his usual wear, black jeans and a white t-shirt, his pack strapped on tight, he also wore a pair of brown work gloves, since he was helping move rubble and other refuse from the destroyed buildings.

It was a sad state, the city in shambles due to this disaster, but there was something about how everyone worked together to rebuild and recollect themselves that warmed his heart. Tempor would hum a bit while he worked, he preferred to keep his spirits up, giving consoling smiles to those who need it and helping those who needed a hand with the work they were doing.

"Slowly but surely, we'll get everything back together. Especially with everyone working together like this." He'd say out loud, it was directed more to himself, an idle thought as he picked up a larger piece of rubble and lifted it out of the way.

He'd been helping since the morning after the tsunami hit and flooded most parts of the island, washed away some. Dreizel had volunteered right away to help clean up the mess that the disaster had left, helping whomever needed his help.

Mostly, he had kept to cleaning up the streets, away from the hysterical survivors and the traumatized. He was still very much sensitive to most people's emotions. The closer he stayed to more people who felt worse, the less he'd be able to offer his usefulness. Though he knew he should have probably at least helped in consoling them, he was still too wary of the effects of that many being around him.

So here Dreizel helped, compiling wood, concrete and metal into heaps at the side so people and vehicles could pass the once immaculate streets. He had slowly made his way from the heart of the city towards where the worst was, moving locations every few hours towards areas where it seemed to get worse and worse. Until he found himself staring at the destruction at the pier. He watched the other volunteers clearing out the area, moving best they could around the mess, ignoring the ache in their bodies and the sweat dripping off of them despite the more or less clouded sky.

With a rekindled determination to aide, Dreizel made his way deeper into the desolation and started clearing what once had been a clear path to a restaurant.

Sorry it took a while. I had a few requirements to complete before I could afford any free time that would let me write a proper reply

The humidity was killer, which made sense considering the amount of water that was displaced recently. Tempor would head a bit more inward, deciding he would help out more of the store fronts near the docks than those on the very coast of said docks.

Well, he would have if the way wasn't blocked by some rubble in front of this restaurant's passage. Well, that was why he was here anyways so it's a good place to start clearing debris. Giving his gloves a tug to tighten their fit on him he give the stranger already working a solemn nod if they made eye contact and would set down, creating different piles for the different kinds of refuse, to be later reused as the city wide plan was.
