Ohh, that was just nasty, wasn't it? Straga was playing mean.

"Alright," he said. "Rock paper scissors for the first one."

"Hold on," Cori said, feeling like the entire thing was sliding rapidly out of her control. "Rock paper scissors for the first one. But it's not going to be any fun if you just do two matches. They have to be different. With different people."

"Fine," Evan said with a laugh. "How about Destra? He can do one with each of us, and that's two distinct pairs."

Destra... Straga considered this, he was in the tournament. and he had gained and bonded with a number of regalia. Which meant he'd grown stronger. And given the way things stood, they could fight it out. The two of them were definitely itching for a fight. They hadn't fought since he'd run into Underhill with those friends of his. But also Evan probably knew ecactly what he was doing by pointing him out as a potential opponent.

"Given the current circumstances, the boy would be an ideal opponent." Straga had his phone out, sending out a quick text to him to be ready in a few days. "As for the current challenge, whenever you're ready Evan."

Tori gave her sister a worried look. Things seemed way our of their control at this point. And there wasn't any way they could take back the reigns.

Alright. Neat. Evan grinned at Straga, well aware that fucking up the challenge by throwing Destra into the mix would probably be enough to satisfy Straga. He had a pretty obvious desire to screw up the who challenge, and Evan was happy to play into that.

"Alright," Evan said. "Best three out of five?" Might as well drag it out, make a show of it.

He counted them down, and then threw out some scissors, mostly on a whim.

"Best three out of five works fine for me," Straga grunted, it was rock. He always started with rock. It was like an actual fight; if there's nothing sharp around grab the closest, hardest thing to bludgeon your opponent with.

"Well then... round two," Straga growled and counted down once again.

Evan was not exactly subtle with throwing down a second pair of scissors. He wasn't going to try and calculate the odds or play any kind of mind games. He was just throwing things out without hesitation.

"Get fucked," Evan said with a grin as Straga threw out paper. He didn't even wait, counting in a three-two-one before throwing down rock.

"You'll pay for that," Straga growled. He was having fun, or at least something close to it. Winning or losing challenges didn't matter all that much, since he'd won the larger battle overall. He growled and threw out paper. This round was his.

They were throwing fists in a way that wasn't going to end up with him black and beaten, so that was nice. He'd lost two and won one, and that meant they were... well, maybe on the last round.

Well, time to mix it up. Evan threw paper, giving Cori a pointed look.

"See? A challenge."

Their minds must have synchronized on this round, because Straga was also throwing out another paper. Damn, a tie. Well whatever this was fine. The twins were probably pretty dissatisfied over this. Part of him felt- no he just felt smug as hell.

"Damn a tie, how intense. The final round is going to decide it all," he counted down and threw out scissors.

"You can't even count, can you? We're at two for you, one for me, and a tie. So if I win.." Evan said, tossing out a rock to bash Straga's scissors.

"That puts us at two, two, and a tie. So, tie break round? Or are we calling it a tie?"

"Just do a tie break," Cori said with a roll of her eyes. The whole thing was... well, stupid. Kind of stupid overall, and really stupid to her in particular.

Straga let out a little growl, but he had a look of satisfaction on his face. Nothing was in the twin's control now. These little shits finally understood. Excellent.

"You should be more sporting. It's just a game afterall," Straga said to Cori, before counting down and tossing out paper.

"I just want to go home," Tori mumbled.
