The Twins

Jugemu would be pissed. No two ways about it. He didn't know Evan was out at a bar, he didn't know he was out with Straga, and he sure as hell didn't know that Evan was, at that very moment, making eyes at a very nice looking pair of twins sitting at the bar.

He already had his own drink--his third of the night--and he couldn't help but sparing Straga a quick glance.

"They've been looking at us, you know. The one on the right keeps glancing back at us, and then giggling with her sister."

No question it wasn't a friend, considering they looked goddamn identical. If anything, they might be a straight up clone.

"You say that," Evan said. "But you don't know. For all you know she's a secret dragon that could rip your head off. It's not like you've got a natural dragon sense, yeah?"

Evan paused, reconsidering, and then fixed Straga with a look.

"You don't, right?"

"Don't what?" Cori asked, making her way over to the table with Tori trailing behind her.

It was like he could read minds. Right then, Straga was definitely thinking something along the lines of If I took one of these home, they'd snap in half before I got them through the entrance. Evan, on the other hand, was thinking something along the lines of they better not ask to come back to my place, because Jugemu will have a fit.

He wasn't even sure if he was interested. They both looked a little bit on the younger side to him, but he wasn't going to turn them down, either.

Cori, on the other hand, had something very different in mind.

"Oh, what gave it away?" She asked, with a very pointed look at Straga in particular.

"Oooh," Cori said, and for a moment Evan couldn't tell if she was being genuine or fucking with them. There was something with her tone of voice. "Is that what you were after? Hot night with twins? Oh no, we're not here for that. You two are very, very not our type."

She let out a definitely-fucking-with-them-giggle.

"We're Regalia. You big boys pacted with anyone yet?"

He'd gotten used to the growling, because Straga growled a lot. Really, he barely even noticed, and when the woman across from him raised an eyebrow it took Evan several long seconds to realize why she was doing that.

Oh right, Straga was about as friendly as a cactus.

"We are," Cori said, planting her hand on the table and leaning forward slightly. "So which is it going to be?"

Evan glanced between the two of them, and then back to Straga.
