Naka was already well trained with the Katana as well as most contemporary forms of Japanese weaponry, so he didn't feel the need to train that. What he wanted to work on the most, was his mastery over this new power. He focused on letting some electricity out, extending it but keeping it close to his body as he attempted to utilize the laws of physics to manipulate the electricity. Mostly, he formed the charges positive to negative in an outline along his body so the electricity was more like a coil with the positive end constantly seeking the negative end. Electricity could be preditable but it always posed the threat of being able to go in a different direction.
"This might have multiple uses." He thought to himself as he waited for the others to arrive at his location.

Tatsujin turned in the direction the girl had pointed but was otherwise disinclined to give chase. He could call the person out, but it was unlikely that they would respond to that. Still, he shot her a deadly serious glance.
"If you want to run now is your chance." He said as he took off. He considered for a moment, that she was misleading him, which would be fine, no harm no foul, though she still wouldn't know about the little device protecting him from her for the time being. He was gifted at tracking, but in snow it was more of a matter of who ran out of energy first/fastest. If it was a car chase he would have the advantage but as it stood, the person probably knew more about the forest overall. Given that he walked back to the girl and pulled the satelite phone from his pack. Regardless of who it was, if there was a chance that his cover could be blown, he was supposed to call for backup.
" Red base, this is RZ941, my cover has possibly been blown. Requesting back up, specifically RX922, VY341, NM567, and TZ936." He said in japanese about the time he returned to the location of the girl.
"Well this has gotten a little more interesting." He said to her in english.

Cyan watched as Miles transformed into...the newcomer. "Okay, that is awesome, but...I can't help but wonder...why?" he said before turning to the new arrival. "Hello, the names Cyan. Like the color. The dude who just shapeshifted for no apparent reason is Miles. I kind of just met him, so I dunno." Cyan offered his paw, "May I ask what's your name?" he said before Miles called the group.

"Ah, well, I do have to go," Cyan said, starting to follow after the others, "We're doing some training, and I really want to see how much pain the tall girl over there can dish out." Cyan ran up to Sorcha, "Listen," he began, "I think I can handle most things, but...could we avoid fire if at all possible. In case you didn't know, fur is kinda' flammible." Just for the heck of it, Cyan decided to bring out his wings again. After all, they were pretty cool.

(Just so you know, Aogol, he just has his wings out. He's not flying.)

Sorcha stopped walking when she heard Cyan's question from behind her. Chuckling, she understood what he was saying but she decided to have some fun with him. She turned and said,"I thought you said I could practice on you? you were pretty much indestructible?"

That's when she heard the others following them. Damn it, she thought, when she heard that Suze's voice. As the others joined them she shook her head, held her hands up as if to stop them in their tracks,"Stop right there, two of you?, Miles, I am assuming the other Suze is you. Why, just please tell me why would you do that?"

She looked back and forth at both of them, and said to Cyan,"Am I the only one who thinks there is something jinky about that chick? " Not waiting for an answer she turned and headed towards where she heard electricity sizzle? Really? Was that the sound? She thought that's what it was, and she could only assume that it was Naka doing some practicing on his own already. Talking back to Cyan she said,"Whatever, I am going to go catch up to Naka and forget about Frick and Frack over there. You coming with me?"

———————————————————————————-

Suze watched as the cutie changed into....her? Seriously? Was he trying to impress her? If he was, that was lame. Why turn into her? She certainly wasn't going to flirt with herself. What a let down. She was planning on getting some information with some female persuasion but...not now. She sighed as she answered the animal? person? the whatever it was. "My name is Suze" That is as far as she got before he took off running. Well fine, she thought, she started walking next to the half-demon, it certainly was unsettling to be walking next to herself. But, on the other hand it was way cool that he could do that.

While they walked she looked out the corner of her eye at Miles and wondered what other tricks he had up his sleeve. And, if she could get him to play with her then they could have all sorts of fun with his shape shifting abilities.

When the red haired witch asked the demon why, it was obvious she was frustrated with him doing it. That was interesting but also made her smile inward. So, little miss She-Rah didn't like her that much uh? Well the feeling was mutual. It didn't bother her one iota. To be honest with herself she gave off that vibe but with her looks people tended to forget their gut feelings and think otherwise. She always thought it was stupid of them and used it to her advantage.

When Sorcha walked off she turned to her other self, "So, that was pretty impressive and pretty much obvious that it bothered Sorcha there but why? And on that note, what else can you do ? Can you turn into just people or objects too? I mean think of all the fun that can be had with your ability. I bet you have some awesome stories about pranks that you have pulled and gotten away with. Maybe we can spend some time together talking about them."

Sorcha didn't answer a single question because Suze, Tien's new friend, had... multiplied herself somehow. Perplexed and somewhat annoyed that this was obstructing her interrogation, the fairy hovered around uncertainly, trying to make sense of the situation. Why - and how - had Miles made himself look like Suze? At least the others seemed to be equally confused; for once, Tien wasn't the only one wondering what the heck was going on.

Scratching her head, she followed Sorcha as the redhead spoke to Cyan, trying to keep up again. "What does jinky mean?" she asked, before landing on Sorcha's shoulder and kneeling down. "Can I come, too? I want to know about fairies, and I don't think Suze wants to tell me about them right now." Tien glanced over her shoulder pointedly, where the new girl was speaking to herself quite literally.

She knew that with her warning, Fordren had enough time to get the hell outta Dodge before Tatsujin started trying to follow, based almost entirely on the assumption that the assassin wasn't going to hunt the angel through unfamiliar territory when he had a mission to do. Hopefully he'd left footprints or some other sign that somebody was really there so her cover story held together. She ignored his suggestion to run, merely replacing her hands in her pockets and drawing the sheepskin tighter around her. Cass was in a unique position to warn of the impending attack, the one she was also aiding, and hell, if he was going to get his ass kicked, she could probably have a real conversation with him first. Nobody else would know.

You soddin' well cannot, assface, she thought, but her anger was quite restrained. He blocks powers with his right hand and disintegrates stuff with his left. I forget his codename, but he says he goes by Tatsujin Shishigami. He's an assassin, or mercenary or something, under orders to take the island. I think his bosses want to recruit the kids or something.

He was returning; Cass fixed him with her usual apathetic gaze. It could have made her a fortune at poker, but she couldn't stand games more social than Solitaire. She listened carefully as he spoke in Japanese - she picked out the letters he'd mentioned in his codename, and a few others. Pretty sure he just called for back-up. If his friends are anything like him, you're going to need a lot of help. She strengthened her barrier after the last message, just in case Fordren thought breaking into her mind was for the Greater Freaking Good.

"Yeah, that pretty much describes everyday life in this hellhole," she replied to Tatsujin, a corner of her mouth turning down in distaste. "Believe me, everything that can go wrong, does. Usually in complete defiance of physics. I guess that's what you get when you stick a bunch of mutants on an island."

She started walking again, at a leisurely place, and actually had to think about where the school was. Being able to be as negative as she liked was distracting. "I got dragged here against my will, 'cause they could help me. Dealing with other people sucked enough as it was; now I have to deal with superpowered lunatics. You know how they introduce themselves? 'Hi, I'm Britney, and I can light plants on fire with my brain! Wanna be friends?' Jesus, I hate this place."

Of course there would be footprints where he was standing before she asked him to run off. That much was inevitable, at least. However, he certainly knew how to stealth well enough that it was difficult to track exactly what direction he had run off in. It's quite possible that this Tatsujin fellow was an excellent tracker, but Alistair was not quite concerned about being followed. If it came to that, he would deal with it accordingly.

To be honest, the biggest emotion that was sent through the link from him was confusion. I cannot understand your logic, Cassandra. You cannot truly believe that not allowing me to view the situation from your point of view is in any way something other than detrimental. I asked your permission to be polite, but your words are truly illogical. If I have a live-action view of where the two of you are, it will not only be easier for me to give the school accurate information but as well be able to set up a defensive strategy in time relevant to the threat. I would ask that you do not involve personal feelings here, for this is a matter of life and death. I do not wish to push this matter further. I will ask you again sincerely to cooperate with me, that we may function as a team in light of this new threat against the island. If you insist on disagreeing, I'm afraid I cannot guarantee my consideration of your own feelings for the remainder of this threat. In addition, attempting to forge such a powerful mental barrier will only tire you and make it more difficult to act the role you have chosen. It may take me longer to break through it considering the effort you put into it, but it is unlikely that I would be unable to do so. I ask once again that you be reasonable.

Or was she seriously considering that deal she had made with him? Breaking his word was something he would never do except for the most extreme of circumstances, but he knew it was not uncommon for humans to use lies as a tactic in their operations. He assumed she had lied to him to secure her own safety, and that her choice of words had simply played into his part of warning the school. Was he wrong? Had he misjudged her personality? He found it ironic that, after she had apparently taken so much offense at him for "looking down on her" - which was in fact, a misunderstanding - that she would choose an option that so clearly placed her far below the line of ethics that he honestly believed she was above.

But maybe that wasn't true at all, maybe she really was just being stubborn. Then again, maybe she was afraid of him defeating Tatsujin in combat and thus, destroying her chances of making that much money. He did not have a long enough glimpse into her mind in order to determine her true intentions - he only knew what the two of them had said to each other. Thus, he had no way of knowing what she truly had planned on doing. He simply had expected her to do the "right" thing, but was there truly now a possibility that she wasn't? She told him that there were possibly reinforcements coming. It seemed rather sincere. But without forcing her barrier, it was possible she was lying to him.

As he neared closer to the school, he began wondering if what he did was truly the correct decision.

This body wasn’t going to suit itself for his purpose it seemed. Miles turned and looked at the weasel “Didn’t I tell you to wait with those wings. Save them for when I get to see you flying or I might throw you into a lake or something.” Miles wasn’t really going to throw the weasel into water, since he didn’t like being in it himself. “I can’t make any promises with the fire though since that is two of three things I can do without a weapon.”

Sorcha seemed mad at me for turning into Suze here. He couldn’t explain why he had transformed to her if she was gone. He probably wouldn’t explain anyway but he could use it to bother her later. It would be a little fun to run wild in another person’s body. Well, there was no reason to stay in this body at the moment with only Suze and Cyan there. Miles surrounded his body in the shadow again to return to his original form.

“Hmmmm,” Miles said as he turned back into himself, “Sorcha really must not like you. I can only turn into humans to answer your question Suze. As for the stories, I’d have no problem telling you some anytime. By the way, are you coming with us?” The girl looked rather young but you couldn’t always judge by appearance. There was an odd sense from this girl though. Miles didn’t know what it was but he would investigate into it in due time.

Naka's sword came freely from its sheath. He was still working out the basics on his electromagnetic theories but given his size and the relative projectiles he could use, he figured he could manifest a railgun effect, though the distance the projectile travelled based on size would most likely be limited to close range only. If he could manage it, he would be able to fire a copper coin at 16,000 meters per second, though his effective range with it would probably be somewhere within 25-40 meters effectively, slowing it down to the force of a BB by the time it hit 100 meters. Using scalar reasoning, he could posibly hit great distances if he could manage to fire something larger or more aerodynamic with a coain but that didn't seem to be within the range of what he calculated to be possible for him at current. Still, blasting lighting bolts and using electromagnetic fields, this might very well be the only power he really needed at current.
"I wonder what the draw back is. Could be electrolyte useage and relative molecular quantities of iron and other subtances that conduct bio electricity. That would make sense but I wonder how much output I can deal before it becomes detrimental." He thought to himself (in japanese). As it stood he had a lot of work to do. He seriously doubted he would be able to pull of the 250 miles that the navy rail guns seemed to be able to do. If his maximum output was only 800,000 volts, he wouldn't be able to put out enough electricity to meet the roughly 2 million Amp requirement to do something like that. Calculations ran through his head as he waited for the others to arrive.

————————————————-

Tatsujin listened to her for a moment, registering something was probably wrong. She was talking too much, and, moreover, she was sharing her feelings. It was typical behavior of somebody trying to hide something but at this point he didn't know or care exactly what that something was. He had already had to call for backup, which made it even more likely that she was going to be on thin ice. Nevertheless, he formulated a plan and began to enact it.
"Well it would seem one of those 'freaks' was spying on us earlier. Thanks to that my cover has been blown and I've had to call for backup." With that little seed planted, he simply moved on. The backup team would track down his location via gps, and the only person that knew about backup being on the way would be her. Whether he empathy extended to animal swho would warn of danger, or humans getting the feeling of impended danger, he would be able to assume that if someone knew about the backup, she would be to blame. Was he being paranoid? yes. Had paranoia kept him alive before? definitely. So why should he stop now.

Cyan walked on all fours next to Sorcha as they headed toward Naka's location. He decided to take this moment to try talking to Tien. "So, you seem excited about the idea of other fairies, judging by how you just completely ignored me back there," he says before lightening his tone, "Now that I think about it, I haven't seen any other fairy besides you." Cyan looked off to the side, "It's real lonely being the only one of your kind around, isn't it?" He looked back at Tien with a start, "Uh, um, not that it's any of my business anyway." Cyan decided to change the subject.

"I can't believe we've been roommates for a whole month. You know? We haven't even had a real talk yet. So, um...Hi...What's up with you?" He asked in a friendly tone. Cyan punched himself mentally. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't go through an experience without sounding like a complete dork at at least one point. He continued smiling and prepared himself for any teasing his new aquaintance, Sorcha, might throw his way.

Sorcha smiled at Cyan as they entered the clearing where Naka stood practicing. She heard his hesitation while talking to Tien and thought it was because of his awkwardness at conversation. She was well aware at how that felt. She was getting better but she was still a long way from being confident in social situations. She leaned down and patted him on the shoulder,"You're doing fine Cyan, just keep trying" she said in complete understanding, and hoping he didn't take offense.Looking at Tien she laughed,"I think you have another friend who wants to get to know you"

She stood up as she saw Miles and Suze walk up behind them."It's good to see you back Miles. I'm going to go see how Naka wants to do our training." She started walking towards him when she stopped, turned around and addressing Miles asked,"Why did you turn into her anyways?"Shaking her head and not waiting for an answer she walked to where Naka was standing.

"Hey, you will not believe what happened back there while we were on our way here. Miles changed forms into the new chick, by the way she says her name is Suzume but you can call her Suze. I don't know why he did it, and I just want to say I don't like her. There is something off about her and I get some funny vibes from her. But when I look at her, I don't see it, she looks so little and innocent. Maybe you can check her out for me and tell me what you think. Oh, and I came down here to see how you want to do the training."

————————————————————-

Suze looked sideways at the demon and shivered. Ooh, she would love some one on one time with him "talking". And as far as Suze not liking her, who cared if the little lame-o liked her or not. Uh-Oh she thought after hearing Miles thoughts, he thought she was odd?, she was going to have to make sure she stepped carefully. Her goal right now at this point and time, was to create a little havoc with this group and to get the demon to like her.

She snickered, maybe a bit too loudly when she over heard Sorcha's comment to the blue rat. Oh my devil but this chick got on her nerves. She was tired of her questioning Suze's motives. Okay, they weren't good ones, but she had no reason to question it. Suze had always been good at coming across as the little one who was unassuming. Why this Sorcha girl should wonder that she was anything but upset her.

When Sorcha walked away after asking Miles that question, Suze moved down closer to the others. She was hoping she could read some information that way. She over heard what Sorcha said to Naka and she was incensed! Without thought she mentally sent a small mind blast into Sorcha's brain. She stumbled from the energy use, but caught herself immediately. She was sure that nobody noticed but she smirked, then watched as she would see how the little brat dealt with that.
